Taehyun lift himself and get out from my lap and stood like it doesn’t bother him the whole situation. And that reaction of him made me feel nervous, for real.

She started attacking Taehyun so I covered myself for him and I received all the slaps and punches from her. I also felt a sting from my face when her nails scratch my cheeks.

The room went silent for a second and only low sobs from her is dominating. “Stop saying nonsense and get out in here,” I ordered.

I looked at Aera who's in shock. "Y-you knew—"

"Because I still trust you, Gyu! I'm still hoping you'll change! I-I stayed because I t-thought you still love me,' Aera reasoned.

"He doesn't because if he does he'll choose you over me but look, which side is he now?" Taehyun asked and Aera looked at me who's protecting Beomgyu from her.

“Stop!” I shouted and take her away from Taehyun. “Just get out in here! Please!”

“No! I won’t! Not until I’ll cut his dick off! Come here you slut!”

He said that and just passed by us and walks out of my unit. I let go of Aera and follows him.

“Kang! Please! Wait for me!” I yelled before he could even walk inside the elevator.

He stopped walking and looked back at me without any emotion in his face. “I told you not to choose me over her. I told you not to like me. I told you this won’t work out. I already told you about this. I already fucking warned you!”

“Then why did you make me feel that you like me too? Why!?”

“You’re the only one who thinks that. We’re done.”

He turned his back at me and I just felt my whole system weakened. I thought we’re in the same page already. I almost risked everything for me— no, I am ready to risk everything for him but he just let me go just like that.

Like he didn’t come at me to ruin me and fix me at the same time.

But still I run towards him. I tried to reach him but the door of the elevator is already about to close. Our eyes meet and he’s just looking at me bluntly. He’s looking at me without any hint of care.

“Don’t leave me, Kang.”

But it’s already closed. I fall on my knees and I started crying. How can he do that to me? How can he just leave me like I was nothing to me at all?

“I told you he doesn’t love you,” I heard Aera’s voice from my back.

I wiped my tears and tried standing up but I don’t have the energy to do so. Then I felt her helping me and when I’m already standing beside her, she wrapped her arms on my waist.

“Let’s go inside,” she whispered.

I feel so ashamed.

We head inside my unit and I was just standing there while she’s putting water from the pitcher into the glass. We’re both quiet and probably both hurt as well.

“Let’s break up, Aera.”

“I don’t want to.”

“Why? You don’t deserve me. I cheated, you deserve someone—“

“I want you to be that someone,” she cuts me off and lends me the water. “I w-want you to change be a better person… for me. C-can you do that?”

Tears broke out again from my eyes and I was about to fall again when she catch me with her hug causing the glass to fall on the floor. I cried so much in her shoulders.

“I’m s-so sorry,” I cried. “I’m sorry, Aera. Sorry for being an asshole. Sorry if this is what you receive after loving me. I’m so sorry.”

“That’s all I want to hear, Gyu. I just want to hear from you that you are sorry and what happened before doesn’t matter anymore,” she replied.

I shook my head and then let go of her. “No, don’t stay with me anymore,” I replied.

“Don’t you love me anymore?” she asked.

“I-I… I’m sorry,” I apologized and looked down. “I do love you but I love him more.”

“But he doesn’t love you—“

“He does!”

“He doesn’t! If he does, you two should have been together right now. But he left you! Where is he right now? Where is he when you needed him? I’m the one who’s with here with you. W-why can’t you see that?”

I looked away and wiped my tears. I don’t even know. I can’t understand myself to. I feel so useless. I’m so confused! I don’t know what should I do but I’m sure I need to get back to Taehyun.

“How can your love fade in a snap just after meeting him for a short period of time?”

“When did our hearts have the specific time to fall in love?”

She was taken aback. She’s not expecting I’m going to throw such lines to her. I’m crazy. I’m fucking discrediting all she did to me for the past years just because of a guy but it still feels like that’s what should I do.

“Go out and you will never see me again.”

I ignored her and I held the handle of the door when she shouted. “Choi Beomgyu, I’m telling you not to go out in there and meet him!”

I breathe heavily and looked back. “Why—“ I stopped when I saw her holding a part of the glass that broke and pressing it on her wrist. “A-aera, put it down.”

“No. I told you I can’t live without you. Go and meet him and you’ll never see me again. I need you Beomgyu. I need you right now. I need you to stay with me. Please, stay.”
