Sydney and Chris were in the kitchen, as usual, helping Kim and Callum with baking cakes, muffins and more.

Things started off as normal. They walked in, grabbed their aprons and started mixing ingredients. Batch after batch, eventually they grew used to the ache in their arms and bend over backs. Kim would drop a few of the goods or break something and Callum would comb through his blonde locks with a tanned, veiny hand as he cleaned up her mess.

You may wonder why Kim is still baker after all her clumsy accidents. The answer is simple. She's the best at baking in the café. Besides, no one trusted her out of the kitchen. She would break a coffee machine or drop a customer's plate.

After the sixth batch of twelve muffins was sold, Tori strolled into the kitchen.

"Good day, my lovely cooks, " she chimed with a smile on her face.

"We're bakers," Callum mentioned. "We bake, not cook."

"Baking and cooking, they're the same thing... Anyway, you guys have done a lot and by the looks of it, we have enough desserts to last the rest of the day. There's a crowd outside all wanting coffee and the others can't possibly keep up. I need Sydney, Chris and Callum out with us to speed things along," Tori informed them.

"What about me? What will I do?" Kim asked with a scowl.

"You will... Uhm... You can finish icing the rest of the cakes and clean up."

"Well, what about us?" Chris motioned at himself and Sydney. "If we go out there, there will be a bigger crowd."

"It's nothing I can't sort out. Just go help the others."

And so they did.

As expected, once the news that Chris and the girl supposedly dating Felix were out of hiding spread, the crowd multiplied. Boys and girls ranging from six-year-olds to mid-twenties stood either outside or inside the café as they took pictures and screamed.

Chris seemed completely oblivious to the fans whenever he was preparing the coffee but when he had to serve them, he always made small talk, answered a few of their questions, then ended up off with his signature dimple smile.

Sydney watched him from behind the counter, wondering how on earth he was so natural. She had been trying to avoid conversation all day and luckily for her, Tori understood and didn't force her to deliver any of the coffees. Or at least that was until it hit afternoon. The café was the busiest at that time. There clearly weren't enough employees for the job. Not to mention the fact that Tori had to run to the back and pull out the extra coffee machines. But despite this, Kim remained in the kitchen, sulking.

"Sydney, take this latte to the girl in blue on table four," Ava handed her a mug of coffee. "I have to get back to the cash register."

The girl turned to Tori, hoping she would take it for her or something but the manager only shrugged and gestured to the table.

With a sigh, Sydney approached the table. Five girls sat at it and she could just hear them talking about how hot Chris was and how cute his dimples were.

Once one of the girls noticed her heading to them, she made her friends aware and they all smiled at her.

"Hi, " one of them smiled a Sydney.

"Uhm, hello," the shy barista responded as she kept her eyes on the coffee.

"You're the girl Felix saved, right? He's so charming, isn't he?"

"I guess so."

"Have you guys seen each other since?"

"A couple of times."

"Are you dating?"

"No."

The fan sighed.

"It's a shame, you guys seemed so cute together."

Sydney hastily placed the mug of coffee on the table on that note.

"I should go back. Enjoy your coffee."

She quickly headed back to the counter only to meet Chris' gaze.

"What?" She asked as she grabbed a mug and tried to distract herself by making one of the orders.

"You're so awkward, " he laughed. "They just wanted to know about Felix and you."

"I can't tell them we're going on a date in a couple of days. What if Felix doesn't want them to know just yet?"

Chris shrugged.

"Oh well, they'll eventually find out. But don't worry, it'll be alright."
