Mark practically froze when he turned after shutting the door, only to see Youngjae staring right back at him with big eyes.

He swallowed hard and began making his way down his porch to the sidewalk, Coco close behind.

He stopped at the curb and looked at Youngjae again, who still stood in the exact same place.

Mark smiled softly and waved, making Youngjae blink, and smile back. He hesitated slightly before continuing across the street.

He felt some rush of adrenaline as he aproached the awaiting boy. He stopped in front of him simply looked him in the eyes.

"H-hi," Youngjae softly spoke.

Mark internally gasped. The boys voice was not how he expected it to be. He also looked a little different up close. The little spots and wrinkles around his face, the tiny little stains on his shirt from being outside so much. He was so much more detailed.

"Hey," Mark replied.

Youngjae looked down at Coco who sat patiently on the sidewalk.

"You can pet her if you want to," Mark said.

Youngjae smiled. He leaned down and squatted on the ground and gently pet the small dogs head. He began to giggle when Coco licked his hand.

Mark couldn't believe how cute the view in front of him was. The way Youngjae played with his dog, it was something he couldn't look away from.

"Coco-yah!~" the boy beamed as Mark decided to sit as well.
"She's very cute, hyung."

Mark blushed at Youngjae calling him hyung. Why was everything about this boy so.... Adorable?

"Well, if you want," Mark suggested, "you can come over to play with her whenever you want..."
