Mark came home from university to find Youngjae in the tree once again. The younger waved from a low branch that could just barely be seen below the leaves. Mark smiled and waved back.

He went inside and put down his back pack. He set out food and more water for Coco, since he had been gone all day and didn't have time to feed her this morning. Then, he returned outdoors.

"Hyung!" Youngjae called from his tree, he was higher than he was a few minuets ago, "come up here with me!"

Mark stuffed his hands in his pockets made his way across the street.

How does he think I'm going to get up there?

When Mark reached the tree, he looked up at Youngjae who was a good 6ft above him.

"Youngjae I don't know how to climb a tree!" Mark yelled upwards. Youngjae jumped down a few branches with ease and hung himself upside down.

"What do you mean? It's easy!"

Mark laughed as Youngjae flipped himself back over. He looked a bit like a monkey.

"I'll tell you what branches to step on. Just cmon!"

Mark complied with the youngers request. Grabbing onto the lowest branch and having Youngjae guide him from there, until they were high off the ground.

They sat in a part where the branches curved outwards so they were perfect to sit in and rest your back against, which is what Mark did.

Youngjae on the other hand, sat on a slightly higher branch and was perched there like a bird, and Mark thought that, once again, it was absolutely adorable.

"It's pretty up here," Mark said softly as he noticed how the sunlight shown through the breaks in the leaves.

"Thank you," Youngjae replied.

There was a long pause. While Youngjae was occupied playing with leaves and twigs, Mark watched how the slight breeze blew Youngjae's bangs around his forehead. Though it was mesmerizing watching the younger in his own little world, Mark soon became bored, and he couldn't tell, but Youngjae desperately was as well.

"So why did you bring me up here?" Mark asked.

Youngjae snapped his head up and smiled.

"Just talk, I guess," he said, trailing off at the end.

Mark laughed, "just talk?"

Youngjae nodded and giggled along with the older.

"Or just... Whatever."
