After I got home, I spent time with my family, then decided to send Gine a message. She replied and I was set to meet with her tomorrow morning. I went to bed early, my parents not letting me have my door shut when I went to sleep.

Waking up the next morning was pretty easy as I got ready for the day and left the house. I met Gine at the wooded trail by the back side of Planet Vegeta. She had Tora and Y/n with her. "Hey guys!" Tora and Y/n waved at me as we all walked on the trail, talking to each other as we went on. "Bardock, you are so strong," Gine spoke as she squeezed my muscles. Tora gave me a thumbs up as Y/n gave me a sad smile. I felt a little upset that she looked a little sad, I had to talk to her later on about it. I kinda ignored Gine as we continued walking, wanting conversation with Y/n. "So Tora, are you guys, a thing?" He shrugged, "we're trying a 'friends with benefits' thing before we go for the real thing." He put quotes around the friends part, I knew he was going after her whether she liked it or not. I nodded, "don't do anything stupid." He laughed, "you're telling me not to do anything stupid? I don't do that much stuff that is stupid." I rolled my eyes with a smile as we all laughed. Tora caught my eye as I kept glancing over at Y/n, wanting her attention. "Hey Gine, I wanna show you something!" Tora spoke as he took off into the woods, Gine following in after him. It was just me and Y/n alone together. "So Y/n, you like what you and Tora have?" I questioned, not wanting to look at her. "It's nice, but I feel like he's going to end up playing me." I shrugged, "there's always someone out there who likes you." She laughed, "Gine really likes you, like a lot." My heart hurt as I couldn't feel the same for her. I felt bad that I didn't love Gine, I like Y/n more than I liked her. "Well, how about we hang out tonight, just you and me?" She nodded, "it's a date." I smiled, it was hard to keep being tough around her, especially when I wanted her to like me. I had to keep playing the Gine charade so I wouldn't hurt my best friends feelings. Hurting a best friend is worse than hurting a lover. I stopped, taking a breath as the two came back. Gine smiled as Tora's face was red. "What did you guys do?" Gine just shook her head as her face turned red, "that is none of your concern Bardock! What did you do with her?" She yelled at me, Y/n stepped up. "Listen Gine, he hasn't done anything wrong. He has been walking with me, talking to me as a civilized saiyan and wanting to hang out with me. He has no intention on cheating on you or anything!" She yelled at Gine, I took a step back. Gine tackled Y/n as they fought and clawed at each other. "Stop!" I shouted, making the two stop in their tracks. "You two are acting like kids, grow up!" Y/n put her head down, I felt bad for getting angry at her. I looked down with a sigh as we headed back, I was ready to go home and have this over with. Thinking about later kept crossing my mind as I'd be hanging with Y/n.

Once we got to the entrance, we left and went home, I didn't really want to speak to Gine after what she had done. She attacked Y/n, but Y/n did have a point. I wasn't acting suspicious but she was, her and Tora were both acting suspicious. I shook my head as I got home and went inside, my parents were in the kitchen. I went directly to my room, sitting on my bed and covering my face with my hands. "Having girl trouble?" I looked up to see my dad, "yeah, I think my girlfriend is cheating on me." He cocked a brow, "with who?" I put a hand in my hair, "Tora." He gasped, "isn't he your best friend?" I nodded, my dad sat beside me. "How about we go out fishing Tonight? Just me and you Bardock?" I smiled, but then frowned. "I invited Y/n to hang out though," He looked excited. "She can come with, is she your girlfriend?" I shook my head, still frowning. "You like her, don't you Bardock?" I looked at my dad, "it doesn't matter anyway." He put a hand around my shoulders, "why doesn't it?" I took a deep breath, "she's Tora's girlfriend." He chuckled, "seems like you two like each others girlfriends, bring her along tonight okay?" I nodded, my dad left my room as I went out on the porch and waited for her.
