[ dos ]

[ dos ] in which he gets her phone number

Even though she left him outside without any consideration for him, Marc stayed outside her house in disbelief. Could a rivalry really be more important that helping another person or denying someone a date? He could understand if she was just not into him, but the reason for her refusal was that he was a Barca Boy.

The bright eyed boy wouldn't take no for an answer.

"Hey," He called as loud as he could, hoping to get her attention. Inside the house, he could hear the television being turned on, probably to drown out his calls. "Hey, Madrid Girl! Come out here." Since he didn't know what her real name was, he would settle for Madrid Girl for now.

Valerie, who was in the kitchen preparing lunch, walked out into the livingroom. She took one look at her friend lounged on the sofa, watching futbol in  the most nonchalant manner and deduced the racket outside was Ashley's doing. Still, she asked, "Who's out there yelling like a fucking crazy person?"

Ashley shrugged and replied with a sigh. "I dunno. Maybe its the donut truck." When the yelling continued, Valerie headed for the door. But Ashley stopped her, "I'll take care of this." The brown eyed girl assured her house mate and Valerie nodded in approval. Ashley opened the front door to see the Barcelona footballer still standing there. She rolled her eyes in annoyance at him. "Please go away." And she said louder, her head tilted towards the inside of the house to fool her friend that there was a salesman outside and not a famous footballer. "No thank you! We're not interested in what you're selling! We already have an automatic toaster oven."

She knew her plan backfired when she caught Valerie peeking outside through the bedroom window that faced the front yard just like the livingroom window.

"Don't be so rude, Ashley." Valerie scolded.

"Yeah, Ashley." Marc agreed, putting extra enphasis on her name and looking extra proud that he finally knew what her name was. Looking to the blonde haired girl who was in the bedroom looking out the window, he told her, "Will you please tell your friend that I think she's beautiful and I want her to go watch me play this weekend?"

"Tell her yourself." Valerie reasoned politely.

"She won't listen to me." Marc pointed out.

Ashley crossed her arms over her chest. "Like I told that guy," She gestured at Marc with her eyes, "I don't date Barca Boys."

"Make an exception." Marc practically begged.

"No," Ashley refused. "Please go away or I'll call the cops."

"Fine," The young footballer huffed, "But I know where you live now and I'll make you come around."

"Highly unlikely." She informed him.

"Can I at least have your phone number?" He asked in a hopeful tone.

Ashley thought it over for a second. Maybe if she gave him the rejection hotline number then he would take the hint. "Five, five, five, five." She recited when she saw him whip his expensive cellphone out of his pocket.

"That's not even enough numbers." He eyed her, with an expression that said; Who do you think you're fooling?

"Five." She continued.

"Oh for the love of God." Valerie yelled. "Her number is one fifty-five three oh three, four nintety-seven, twenty three, seventy one."

"Valerie!" Ashley complained.

"Its a date!" Her friend reasoned. "You're not marrying the guy and moving to Africa."

The brown eyed girl looked towards her front yard to see the bright eyed footballer typing away on his phone. Seconds later, her phone rang in her pocket and he grinned. "Just making sure its the right number."

Ashley got her phone out and opened his text message.

x-xx-xxx-xxx-xxxx: hola ashley ;)

She immediately deleted the message and scoffed at him. "I just don't like FC Barcelona or its football players."

Despite the fact that they were literally a few feet from each other, he typed up a reply on his phone and sent it to her instead of voicing it out loud.

x-xx-xxx-xxx-xxxx: just watch. i'll make you come around :)

And with that, the Barcelona footballer walked away.
