Natsu only sighs and opens her car door for her, allowing her get in first. "Are you expecting me to drive, Mister? Because I haven't driven in a while." She asks, a confused expression on her face. "No, I'm opening the door for you. It's proper manners, chivalry if I might add." He motioned her to get in the vehicle and she simply tilted her head, now drastically more bewildered than before. "What would you do that for?" She inquires in full seriousness, quirking her eyebrow at him. "Chivalry is uncommon these days, so I tend to practice my manners." He explains whilst she continues to look perplexed. "You pointed a goddamn gun at me." She squints her eyelids.
"Just get in the car." He sighs in annoyance, shutting the door after she did so. He got in on the driver's side and stuck the key into he ignition, turning it. The engine roared to life as the car's air conditioner began to filter. "Oh, and one more thing." He looked to her. "Please don't kiss me unless I ask, I find that perverted." His cheeks tint pink in embarrassment, while Lu just calmly nods, respecting his opinion.
The entirety of the car ride was silent, except for the tranquil noise of the refreshing breeze cascading through the air. Her honey brown orbs gazed at all of the gorgeous nature around her, looking like a little kid in a completely stocked candy store. After a few more minutes of driving, Natsu pulled into a small driveway, which reeked of asphalt and sulfur.
"How can you breathe in this place, Mister?" Lu chokes out, holding her hands around her neck dramatically. "I live here." Nastu clicks his tounge, hesitantly helping her out of the car. "Oh. Are you financially unstable too?" She asks, pointing to the small little cottage that he claimed as his home. "Too?" He questions, stuffing his toned hands in his pockets and looking to her. "Yep, being a stripper doesn't get you a lot of money, no matter how professional you are. And neither does selling your body." She giggles, but it sounded more bitter than cheerful.
"Oh..and no, I'm far from that." Natsu adds, opening the wooden door to the cottage. Lucy, again, lifted an eyebrow at him, but not before shrugging it off and heading inside.
