Within minutes everything was tumbling down.
The emergency alarm had been put on, screaming was getting louder and Blake's radio signal went out when she needed it the most. The girl didn't know what to do.
She was separated from everyone.
Gunshots erupted as the squealing and yelling were getting closer, so she made a run for it. Her legs pumped viciously, already starting to burn as the power in the whole facility shut down.
"Shit," She cursed to herself, hearing another ungodly roar- which unbeknownst to her, Steve and the group of kids, who were running towards the lab, also heard from a mile away.
Blake made her way to a door, letting a breath out and readying her bat before opening it cautiously.
"Oh my God," She whispered, seeing all the dead bodies scattered on the floor.
Before she could take another step, a squeal erupted from in front of her as demodogs ran down the the opposite hall. She quickly hid behind a corner, holding the bat closer, but not fully to her chest. After a minute of not hearing anything, Blake slowly peeked her head around the corner to see nothing.
She made her way down the hallway, trying not to step in blood, and quickly made her way to where the group was last.
"Shit," She murmured entering the now empty room. Blake ran a hand through her hair, trying to think of where they could be. "Their greatest bet would have been to try and make it downstairs."
Blake nodded to herself, making her way to the stairwell and opening the door just enough so she could get through. She had just gotten down two flights of stairs when she started to hear a voice.
"Bob?" She whispered loudly, enough for the man who was one flight below her to look up and say, "Blake?"
The girl made her way down to the man, breathing out a sigh of relief, "Thank God. Where are the others?"
"They're back in one of the security rooms. I'm going to turn the power back- Yes, Hopper, she's with me." Bob started talking with the man who radioed in midst his conversation, "He wants to know if you want to go with them, he'll come back and get you."
Blake shook her head, "No, I'll stay with you. You'll need backup."
They made their way down the stairs, Bob holding the gun out in front of him as Blake had the barbed wire bat ready to swing. Blake looked at the gun, saying. "No offense, Bob, but do you even know how to shoot a gun?"
"Your Dad told me how," He answered shyly.
"Well in that case, why don't you take your finger off the trigger until you get ready to shoot. Gun safety 101, plus, being shot is not the way I want to go out."
The man did as he was told, as they made their way to what Blake could only say was the boiler room. A sudden squeal came from above them as water vapor erupted from one of the machines. "It's just a machine, don't freak out."
Bob nodded and they kept going until they met a hallway. He brought his flashlight out to see several bodies on the floor, blood surrounding them, "Well, that's more dead bodies than I wanted to see today."
The man looked at her in shock and she simply shrugged, "I cover up my emotions with aggressive sarcasm."
They made their way to the control room, shining the light on the main controls. Bob switched on several of the levers, successfully turning one the power, the group back in the security rooms now being able to see the pair from the camera view.
Outside of the lab, Steve and the three kids found Jonathan and Nancy at the gates. They were all arguing about what their next move should be as Steve spoke, "Obviously we have to get into the lab. Blake... and the others are there and we need to save them."
Nancy, who was walking away from the group noticed the power turning on, caught everyone's attention away from each other. "The power's back."
Jonathan was the first to make it to the gate, pressing the button to open it but it wouldn't work. "Let me try."
Dustin shoved him out of the way, "Let me try, Jonathan!"
He kept pressing the button, coming up short as Steve started mumbling to himself.
"What are you even saying?" Max asked him, causing him to freak out. "Blake is in there!-"
"-Yeah, everyone else is too!-"
"-You think I don't know that? But last time I talked to Blake, she was alone. In a place that is running rampant with those things. So excuse me for flipping the fuck out because she's in danger!" Steve yelled, pulling on his hair so hard he was sure it was going to fall out.
Nancy eyes were wide, seeing how he was freaking out over their friend. Deciding not to say what she was thinking, she let it go and walked back over to Jonathan, who was standing besides the security box that Dustin was in. "Son of a bitch. You know what?"

"Bob? Can you hear us?" Owen's asked. Bob made his way over to the computer, Blake standing in front of it protectively, "Loud and clear, Doc. Can you hear me back?"
After a few moments of Bob typing on the computer he had opened the front doors, Blake sighing in relief when she heard him say it's open. "We'll meet you outside."
The girl started making her way out when suddenly Bob put an arm in front of her, stopping her when he heard Owens tell him to stop in his earpiece. "What's going on?"
"You've got some company." The man's eyes widened, "Where?"
"The left stairwell." Bob turned around and went back to the computer, "I think I've got an idea."
Blake watched as the man typed more on the computer, turning on the fire sprinklers before nodding at her telling her it was clear to go. The pair raced up the stairwell, quickly and quietly as possible before making it to the main level of the building.
Bob started talking into the radio, talking to Dr. Owens about which way to go. Blake followed the man very carefully, bat ready to strike if need be. Bob started to speed up making Blake as well before he grabbed her hand, pulling her back before she rounded the corner.
They stood frozen for a second, Bob then pointing to a room behind the girl where they both squeezed into. Blake had her eyes closed, listening very carefully as the man breathed heavily. She could hear the guttural noises the demodog was making before hearing it's footsteps going in the opposite direction.
She let out a breath of relief, Bob doing the same as Owens started talking to him. Blake nodded at the man who had tears in his eyes, opening the door noiseless and walking out cautiously before him. She had no time to react when Bob walked out of the supply closet, a broom falling from his movements and hitting the floor with a bang.
The demodog at the end of the hallway, that wouldn't have seen them if not for the loud noise, turned around prompting Blake to push the man yelling at him to run as Dr. Owens did the same thing in his ear.
Only did Bob turn around when he didn't hear footsteps besides him, making him stop in his tracks to see Blake hitting the dog with all her might. Blood was splattering all over her green sweater and on her face when Bob screamed her name. The pair ran as fast as they could, opening doors and making a break for it.
They both made it, Blake running to Joyce who was by the doors as Bob stopped a few feet away from where they just made it out of.
"Bob!" Joyce yelled, Blake gasping as a demodog got out of the door and attacked him, sending him a few feet in the air. Joyce screamed and Blake held onto her, watching as he was being attacked. The teenager pulled her outside with much difficulty, her screaming in protest as Hopper went in and shot several of the dogs.
"What happened?" Mike questioned, holding onto Will as Hopper shut the doors behind him, demodogs bouncing off the glass.
"Joyce, we have to go!" Hopper yelled as a sudden honking came through. Blake and Mike were now holding onto Joyce, Hop picking up Will's sleeping body as they made their way to the car.
Joyce, Mike, and Will went into Jonathan's car as Hopper and Blake ran over to his car. They made their way to the gate, Hopper slamming on the brakes causing Blake to hop out of the passenger seat.
"Get in!" She yelled, letting everyone do as she told. Without thinking, she jumped back in the car, sitting on Steve's lap as there were no seats left and looked over to her Dad who was watching her. "What are you doing? GO!"
Hopper stepped on it, Blake leaning into and shifting her body on Steve, finally being able to catch her breath after what she just experienced. Not paying attention, the boy slid his hands over her stomach, kissing her clothed shoulder and resting his head on her back. "Blake, stop moving please."
