Chapter 11: Broken Neck

Hex pointed out a tree behind some bushes. Three red mushrooms were on it, located near the bottom. They were directly beside each other, each about the size of a quarter.

"What do we do?"

"Watch. Also, we should go back to speaking in our normal tongue," Hex suggested. I was looking forward to my own language again.

"Sure."

We stopped speaking Nriole after my agreement. Hex moved to the tree, bending down. He spotted a loose root, picking it up. He pulled it toward the sky, revealing an entrance. The door slid up, a dark staircase within. Hex dusted off his clothes, then turned to face me with a satisfied look on his face.

"Nice. Let's go."

"Sure. I'll lead since I actually look like myself," I declared, moving in front of Hex.

"That'll be for the best."

I started walking down the staircase, Hex close behind. He closed the door, so it was pitch black. We were walking smoothly, but I heard Hex miss a step. He started falling, hitting into my back. I fell under his weight, quickly grasping onto him. I tried to cover him with my body, as he can't take hits as easily as me. I made sure to protect his head.

We rolled down the stairs, hitting into the steps. My head rammed into the steps a few times, cracking and breaking my neck. While in the air, it fused together, breaking again as we hit the next step. Since it was a small passage, my legs were crowded, breaking as they smacked into the walls. With each tumble, different limbs were severely hurt or broken. Why did the stairs have to be made of stone?

After a few minutes, we reached the bottom. I fell onto a stone floor, breaking my wrist. It bent back, fractured. I snapped it back up, shaking it out. It crackled but healed back up. I stood up, stretching out. I was pretty beat up, but I healed quickly. Hex was lying on the ground.

"You alright, Hex?"

"I broke my ankle when I tripped. Look closely."

I scrutinized the limb. The foot was flopped to the side, completely motionless. It had swelled, looking like an egg was attached to his ankle. It started turning black and blue, surrounding the entire broken area. Hex moved it back into place, wincing in agony.

"Are you okay? How long will it take you to heal?"

"I'm decently okay. You took most of the blows. Thanks for protecting me, as I could've easily died. It'll take about an hour to heal. I can't heal in mere seconds like you," Hex answered, holding near his broken ankle.

"Can't you use magic?"

"Sure. I won't be able to use much more today, but we should get going," Hex replied. He cleared his throat, preparing to cast the spell. "Race forth time on my body. Heal."

The ankle started cracking, the swelling going down. Hex got up, starting to move it around. He stretched out, straightening his clothes and hair.

"Why did you use it on your entire body?"

"I don't want bruises all over me later. I could have small fractures I didn't specifically notice, too. You don't have to worry about that stuff..."

"Yeah... Where do we go now?" I asked, as all that existed was a hall with an end I couldn't see.

"There's a door ahead. Keep walking down this pathway."

"Okay."

I felt the walls, surprised that there was a little more than my arms width of space. I started walking forward, barely able to see. I smacked my face into a door in front of me, Hex bumping into my back as well. He stepped back, trying to give me some space. I broke my nose, as the force of Hex's bump smashed it into the door. Blood dripped out, but it healed quickly.

"What do I do now?"

"Knock two times, wait five seconds, then knock five times."

I did as he said, the door opening. Light poured out, a woman's figure appearing. She was in a long, black dress, her arms covered, as well. Her hair was brown, falling to her shoulders. Her eyes were green. When she saw me, she looked nervous and astonished.

"Prince Sanneroal?! Is that you?!"

"Yes."

"Who's that behind you?" She questioned, peering at Hex.

"He's Hixrinas. Can we come in?"

"O-Of course. Please follow me."

"Sure."

I followed the woman through the hideout. It was large, like an underground town. It had rooms lined up on the outer walls, each about ten feet apart. Some buildings were sprawled, but it was mostly open space. People stared as they saw us, clearly recognizing me. Most had looks of fear.

We walked up some stairs, going to a floor above. The doors were farther apart here. She led us to a room, nerve on her face.

"Prince Hixrinas, this will be your room. There is another one for Prince Sanneroal on the floor above."

"I'll see you later, Sin," Hex told me, smiling. I grinned back, as everything was working out well.

"Yeah. See you later."

Hex went inside, the woman bowing as he went in. She turned back to me.

"Are you okay with having separate rooms?"

"Yes. It's fine," I replied.

"Follow me."

She led me up another set of stairs, the floor above with two doors. It was the topmost floor. She led me to one of the doors, opening it for me.

"This will be your room, Prince Sanneroal. I'll come for you in two hours so you can meet with our leader here. I'll send some servants to take care of you, along with more clothes. Do you want them all to be women?"

"Yes."

"Are you satisfied with the arrangements?" She asked with great interest for my answer.

"Yes. They're fine."

"Do you wish for Prince Hixrinas to be at your side while you talk to our leader?"

"Yes," I answered, as it'd be odd if Hex wasn't in the light about a situation he was stuck in as well.

"I'll send him some servants, too. If you need anything, you can ask anyone here."

"Thank you. You can dismiss yourself."

She bowed, leaving. I looked around the room. It was huge. The room I walked into was a living area. It had multiple black couches and a stocked bookshelf. Torches lit up the room, hung on the stone walls. There were pathways to the right and left, so I went to the right.

A large dining area was in there, enough seats for twenty people. A rack of wine was on the farthest wall to the doorway.

I left from where I came, traveling to the other walkway and finding a bedroom. It was giant. The bed could fit ten people lying across, and maybe even more. It had red covers that were neatly tucked in. Black rugs were sprawled on the floor, some beside each side of the bed. A mirror was on the wall, sitting across from a dresser. Small night stands were by the bed.

A room was on the left wall, so I walked in. It was the bathroom. It was also large. The sink was beside a toilet, sitting across from a huge bath. It could probably fit four people.

Impressed with the area, I went back to the living space, sitting on the couch. While I waited, I heard knocking. I got up, opening the door.

A group of six women was waiting. They were each in different colored dresses, each of different styles. All of their hair styles were greatly different, too. One caught my eye.

Though most of them looked scared and resisted going into the room, one was blushing. She had a smile on her face, but her eyes showed bad intent. She had red hair that went down to her calves, worn as a braid. Her eyes were lavender, which was a little strange. She wore a deep red dress, her arms covered, but the bottom ended right at her upper thighs. She was in black heels, making her two inches higher. The top of her head was at the bottom of my neck, for an idea of height. She was curvy, cleavage shown by the dress.

Strangely, I instantly felt attracted. I hadn't really been interested in many vampire females, as none fit my expectations. She was different, though. Maybe I liked the thrill that she wasn't a noble. It could also be the lustful vibe she was emitting. I definitely liked how she looked.

They flooded into my room, looking at me. I stared at the braided woman but tried not to be seen. One of them stepped up, trying not to make eye contact. She had blue eyes and short black hair. She wore a short blue dress.

"Hello, Prince Sanneroal. We were sent here. We've brought clothes. Is the room to your liking?"

"Yes. It's fine."

"As you're meeting with our leader, can we get you ready?" she asked anxiously.

"Sure."

"Please let us follow you to the bathroom."

"You're allowed."

All of the women bowed at me, then walked behind me as I went to the bathroom. I entered, all of them coming in. They entered in an orderly matter, then surrounded me. The same woman walked up to me.

"Can we strip you down? We can wash you, too."

"Yes. That's fine. I don't need all you in here right now. Some of you should leave," I answered, as the room was getting stuffy.

"How many of us would you like? Also, which ones?"

"Two of you should be fine. Anyone who wants to stay, can."

"I'm sure we all wish to stay," she said, trying to make sure I was appeased.

"Anyone especially interested, then."

"I'll stay if you're fine with it."

"Yes. It's fine."

The woman turned to the other girls. Without hesitation, the braided one stepped up. I was glad about it. The rest of the girls left, those two remaining. The braided one walked up to me, her face red. She looked extremely excited.

"The two of us will help you, Prince Sanneroal. Are you okay with the other woman?"

"Yes. Can we hurry, now? We only have an hour and a half. I can't stand being late."

The black-haired woman looked a bit annoyed by my impatience, but the other looked as if she was complimented. I was weirded out, but I liked how she looked, so I didn't mind too much.

"I hope you're okay with me, Prince. I could get one of the others if you wish," the braided woman offered. I was starting to get annoyed. I already said it was fine, but they weren't listening... I liked her voice, though. It was ever so slightly deep, and it sounded smooth. But it didn't help with my annoyance.

"I already said the two of you were fine! Can you listen?!"

"Our apologies."

The one with black hair apologized, but the red-haired stayed silent. It made me slightly ticked off, but I tried to calm down. Again, the braided woman seemed happy with my anger. I didn't understand.

"Whatever. Can you hurry it up, now?"

"Yes," the black haired woman answered. Her voice agitated me.

"Also, can the other woman be the main speaker? I don't like your voice."

"If that's what you wish..."

The braided one walked up, taking the place of the other. The black-haired one looked as if I spat on her family name, as her eyes showed extreme anger. The red-haired cleared her throat, looking ecstatic.

"We'll remove your clothes."

"Just get it done with... I'm going to rot away at the pace the two of you are going."

Blushing, the ginger took off my shirt. She struggled a bit, as it was tight. While she moved it up, I felt her trying to feel my body. The other one was trying to look as far away from me as she could, removing everything from my lower half. The black-haired one folded up my clothes, and the one I liked stared at me. She was clearly examining me, her face even redder.

"Can you get in the bath? We'll start up the water." the red-haired woman questioned.

"Fine."

I sat in the bath, trying to relax. The braided one started up the water, while the other got rags and soap. I noticed that the water was extremely hot, so my anger rose.

"Did you bother to check the temperature?! It's too freaking hot! Are you trying to melt my flesh off?!"

"I'll turn it down."

Again, she didn't apologize. It's as if she wants to make mistakes. She seems to enjoy it when I yell at her. She turned it lower, so I calmed down. I know I want to end my anger issues, but it severely bugs me when careless choices are made.

The other brought rags, so they each took one. I lay with my eyes closed, trying to stay mellow.

"We'll get started."

"You don't need to mention everything you're doing. Just do it," I snapped.

I closed my eyes again, trying to think about other things. The black-haired was farther away, so she was the one washing my lower body. She was gentle, trying not to upset me. She carefully lifted up my legs, washing them. The braided one was different... She was scrubbing, rough when she picked up my arms. I was dealing with it, but then she scratched my skin with her nail, causing me to bleed for less than half a second before it healed.

"Can you be careful?! I don't want to have my skin peeled off! Be gentle!"

"I'll be more careful, Sanneroal," the braided one assured. I filled with fury.

"Don't call me by my name without my title! Don't think you can because you're bathing me! What's your name?"

"I'm Nuinalue. I didn't mean it, Prince."

"Fine. Don't make that mistake again."

Nuinalue blushed, giving a grin. I sighed. I only put up with her because I think she's attractive. Otherwise, I would've been way worse.

"I can't get your other side. I'm reaching over."

"Whatever," I replied, agitated.

Nuinalue reached over, leaning with a good amount of her body. She picked up my left arm, washing it. I glanced at her, noticing she put her leg up on the bath's rim. The other was in the air. She had little balance and fell on top of me. Her face was in front of mine, a grin on it. I looked at her with rage, but I blushed. Though she was above me, she continued washing how she was. Her clothes were soaked, and her hair was partially on me.

"What are you doing!"

"It's easier this way. Now, I can reach your other side. Besides, you're blushing, Prince," Nuinalue pointed out, attraction filling me. Nonetheless, I treated her like a servant.

"Well... Fine, then. Remember your place, Nuinalue."

"My place on top of you?"

"Of course not! Your current place as a servant," I replied, blushing at the comment.

"I saw you eyeballing me earlier, Prince."

My feelings conflicted. On one side, I wanted to beat her head in, but, on the other, I was into the moment. Nuinalue's attractive, and she was clearly interested. Her face was bright red, and she was looking dead at me. She was washing my chest as she lay on me.

"Even if I was, that isn't something you should bring up. Focus on your current duty."

"I'll be happy to continue, Prince. Can you roll over? I need to get your back."

"I'm not a dog, but I will turn over."

I flipped myself, Nuinalue lying on me after I did so. She was washing my back, but she was against it as she did so... I was annoyed, but I think she's hot... I was being lenient because of it.

While turned over, I tried not to think of Nuinalue too much. But then I felt her moving around excessively. I looked behind me, and she was stripping her clothes off... She was completely nude in a few seconds. I like what I saw...

"Why are you unclothed?!"

"My clothes are wet. I need to wait for them to dry now. Are you okay with that?" Nuinalue asked, lying on my back.

"N-No... You're leaning up on me... I know you're rubbing against me more than you have to be!"

Nuinalue rubbed up against me when I brought it up. I don't understand why someone would do all of this... I'd never dealt with someone like Nuinalue. Though annoyed, I actually kind of liked her behavior. It was intriguing.

"You don't want me to rub on you? Your face says otherwise. You're extremely red, so do you like me?" Nuinalue questioned, my brain overloaded with conflicting thoughts. All were fitting with my sins of wrath and lust. Mostly lust. I felt hot inside.

"Why are you being so obstinate? The other one is actually doing as she's supposed to..."

"I'm still cleaning you. I just have different methods."

"If your body was a rag, you'd be done by now," I muttered, as she was barely washing me at this point.

"You never answered my question. Do you like me, Prince Sanneroal?"

I flipped over to look at Nuinalue. The other woman looked awkward and nervous. Nuinalue was still rubbing against me. Her face showed that she was definitely in the moment. I was enraged by all of her questions and rubbing, as it made me feel out of power.

"Do you think I'm required to answer your questions? I'm the first prince! I don't need to!"

"You're not required, but I'd like you to," Nuinalue purred. She stopped cleaning altogether, now just a staring at me from above. I held my hand on my forehead, not sure of what to do. I'd had low standards lately, but Nuinalue's actually good looking. Great looking... I felt my lust overcome the wrath, my being turning from furious to fully aroused.

"Do you really want an answer?"

"Please, Prince."

"Fine. I'll humor you."

Nuinalue was right in front of me, so I moved her head close to mine. I stared at her, examining her face. She's as beautiful up close as she is far away. After, I moved my head up and placed my lips on her's. She kissed back, and we were in a full minute in silence and kissing. We stopped, and she gave me a grin. I enjoyed it a bit. Or a lot...

"Are you satisfied now? Does that work as a response? Actually, I don't need your answers. I already know."

"What am I supposed to say, then?" Nuinalue asked in a seductive voice, pulling me in to peck her cheek.

"You could compliment me. I like being showered in compliments, so let's do that. If it's a good enough one, maybe I'll kiss you. You'd like that."

Nuinalue started washing again. Her face was red, and she seemed completely absorbed in everything. I was smirking, as I was absorbed too. Nuinalue's gorgeous.

"You're the most handsome prince. Your brothers can't compare. I've thought this for years."

"You can do better," I said, smiling at her.

"You're so strong. I've heard rumors of your great strength and recovery. It's amazing. I like powerful men."

"Keep going."

"Your eyes are beautiful. They look like stones."

"You're being a little cliché, don't you think? Try something you like about me that others might not," I suggested, enjoying the compliments I took in.

"I love your personality. I've heard the rumors of what you've done, and I love them. You're cruel and selfish, and I desperately love you."

"Why do you like those aspects of me? It's why everyone else won't look me in the eyes," I responded, madly curious. She blushed, looking directly at me.

"I don't like cowards. You have strength. I love a man who'll do as they please. You aren't like the other princes. Striking a little fear in the kingdom might be a good thing. No one will want to mess with you."

"Why were you messing with me?"

"I wanted to get close. I don't care if you hit me. I love the confidence and smooth sound of your voice. Your skin is smooth, too... Can I have a kiss?" Nuinalue eagerly questioned, sparking more passion within me.

"Fine. I usually don't like when people ask, but you're good at it. Since I find pleasure in it, you can kiss me."

Nuinalue bent her head up to my face, kissing me. She held onto my chest with her fragile hands while she did so. When she stopped, she modestly licked my cheek. It freaked me out, but I found enjoyment in it. She rested her head on my chest, holding onto the sides of my body. I relaxed for ten minutes, but then the other woman started to speak. I don't like her voice. It's too high.

"We have forty-five minutes left. We should dry and dress you."

"I told you not to speak. Your voice is too high pitched. I feel like I'm going to go deft if I hear it for too long," I growled, annoyed that I had to move.

"My apologies. I'll talk less."

I sighed, looking back at Nuinalue.

"I'm getting out. I need you to move, Ruin. That's your nickname now. Your full name is too long."

"I like it. I'll get out."
