Sophie and her friends solemnly walked toward the Councillors.

Though they were afraid of being exiled, they stood strong.

"Sophie." Emery's loud voice boomed. "And everyone else. You have broken many serious laws."

" We are aware of that fact. " Wylie shouted.

Emery stayed calm. "So, we've decided to punish you accordingly."

Keefe rolled his eyes.

"We will not exile you,"

Sophie's jaw dropped.

"We will be removing your memories," He continued, "And sending you to the Forbidden Cities."

Everyone in the room gasped.

"Why?" Biana asked.

"Because, we know that you are capable to escape Exile."

"That's not a good enough reason." Sophie said crossing her arms across her chest.

Emery narrowed his eyes. "It will have to do."

He snapped his fingers, and goblins came out of the shadows, and started taking them away.

"Hey!" Keefe yelled. " You can't do this to the Keefester! "

Alina rolled her eyes.

"Wait." Edaline said. "What about us?"

"Oh yes." Emery smiled. " You will be staying here. Except you. "

He pointed to Edaline. "You're going with them."

" No! " Grady shouted.

Emery snapped his fingers again, and goblins went to get her.

"Don't do anything you'll regret!" Edaline told Grady.

" I won't. " He replied.

She let a sigh of relief.

Meanwhile, Sophie was being taken to have her memories washed.

She saw hands going toward her forehead, and then, she was sinking, sinking, sinking.

Who was she?

Then she blacked out.
