"What?!" Sophie shouted. "We're moving?"

Edaline smiled weakly. "Surprise?"

Sophie threw her hands on the air. "But why?"

" Well, one, we've been living here since you were a little kid, and two, there's barely any kids your age around here. There, we need a change of pace. "

"Well, you do give good reasons, but this is where dad is. He's buried in our backyard."

"I know. But, we gotta learn to let go you know?"

Sophie sighed. "Yeah." She mumbled. " So, where are we moving to? "

Edaline smiled brightly. " Los Angeles! "

"Really?!"

She nodded.

"Marella! Dex! We're moving to LA!"

Marella came thundering down the stairs. "You're serious?"

Sophie nodded enthusiastically. Marella screamed.

Next came Dex. (Lol that rhymed) "We're moving to Los Angeles? You've got to be kidding! There's so many famous people there!"

" When are we leaving? " They asked Edaline at the same time.

"In an hour!"

" Wait, but doesn't the moving crew have to move all of our stuff? " Sophie asked confused.

"Yeah, but they came last night."

" Ohhh. That explains the noise. " Marella said nodding.

"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's start packing." Edaline said beaming.

They all rushed upstairs.

Marella and Dex were in the middle of a throwing paper match, while Sophie was trying to read.

"Guys! Would you cut it out? I'm trying to read Percy Jackson."

Marella and Dex rolled their eyes.

"What? I like reading."

" You don't just like it, " Dex said. "You're married to books!"

He and Marella burst into laughter.

"Hardy har har." Sophie started reading again.

"Guys." Edaline said softly. "We're here."

They all looked up. "Woah." They said together.

They scrambled to get out of the car, and soon they were standing in front of their new house.

It wasn't a big house, but it wasn't small either.

It was a modern building with two floors, and a garden out front.

They rushed inside, to find it practically the same as their old house. White. (Lol)

"Well? How do you like it?" Edaline asked.

" Its amazing mom. " Sophie said giving her a kiss on her cheek.

"What school will we be going to?" Dex asked. " And does it have a robotics club like back home? "

"You're going to Foxfire High, and yes Dex, I'm pretty sure they do."

" Good. "

"Sophie, your room is the first in the right, Marella yours is the second on the left, Dex your room is the first left, and mine is the second on the right."

" Okay. " Marella said.

Sophie, Marella, and Dex went up the stairs and found their rooms.

Sophie's room was a spacious area. The walls were painted a light blue, and she had a chair, and a desk.

Marella and Dex came in. "Ooooh! That's a nice color." Marella complimented.

"Yeah." Dex agreed.

" What's yours look like? " Sophie asked Marella.

"Follow me." She responded.

They ended up in Marella's room, which has been painted with red, and a sparkly white bed, with a bean bag chair to match.

"Wow. Thats very you." Sophie said.

" Thanks. "

"Come on." Dex said. " let's go see my room. "

They followed him, to find a plain white room with a camo bed and tv on a black desk.

"Again, very you." Sophie observed.

" I can't believe mom bought us new furniture! " Marella exclaimed.

"Yeah, that was so nice of her." Sophie replied.

"Well, bye!" Dex said going fully into his room. " I'm gonna play some 'Call Of Duty'. "

"Okay." Marella shrugged.

They went their separate ways, into their bedrooms, and laid on their beds.

Sophie sighed happily. Another good day.
