Yeri POV

I held in my laughter as Jungkook pulled me away from the scene. I got to admit. This is the first time I’m actually seeing Taehyung oppa crying. He was so worked up over whether it would become a failure and ended it himself. Not to forget how many times he had spammed me because he was worried about it being a mess.

“I can’t believe that he was so worked up just to cry.” I commented as we were walking back.

“He’s a sentimental guy. Let him live.” He replied back as I laughed.

As we returned, the other members seemed a little more happier? I mean they seem more cheerful than normal. It must be some after effect or something.

“Where’s Taehyung and Joohyun?”

We didn’t even have to answer asides from turning to the side. The rest of them seems to get the hint and immediately nodded. Awkward silence filled the air. So now...we have two couples within us and a conflicted virtual married girl. Not to forget another member who’s popular amongst the guys.

“We should clean up first then. They’d probably be back when we’re done.” Wendy unnie cheered.

"There's an ice cream shop opposite." I pointed out to Jungkook oppa as the rest were cleaning up.

At times like this, seeing something as little as an ice cream shop across the street is far more interesting. Jungkook turned around and faced my direction as I pointed towards the street. I'm half-shocked at the fact that I was able to see it so clearly from here.

"Want to ditch the rest and go?" He offered as he grabbed some trash on the floor.

I just shrugged. It's not like I'm offering to go. I may have pointed it out first but I totally didn't intend on asking him to drag me away from this hell hole. I saw him grin a bit before turning to the rest.

"Guys! We're going to throw these away." He pointed to the trash he was carrying.

Before I could barely react, he basically pushed a few of the trash bags towards me as we walked away immediately. I'm surprised the rest are so chill with all these stuffs happening around them.

"Let's go."

I just stared at him confusedly as we headed over towards the ice cream shop. It's quite a surprise that there isn't a lot of people here. Well to be specific any fans around. We sat down at the table facing the window and street.

"What do you want?"

I turned over to the menu board. For an ice cream shop, they really have a lot of flavors. I blinked for a while examining the flavors before deciding what I wanted.

"Cookies & Cream" I smiled before turning back.

"Is that purposely? " I heard him murmur a bit before walking away.

"How long have we been here?" I asked as I took another scoop of the ice cream.

"15 minutes." He answered while checking his phone.

"Oh? They messaged."

I leaned over nearer to Jungkook as I tried to see the message sent.

"Don't bring me home? Why not?" I questioned blankly.

"Nothing. Want to hang out at our dorm again instead?" Jungkook smiled back obviously hiding something.

But being the nice person I am, I just let it slide. It must be something I'm not supposed to know of. I continued eating my ice cream as I saw him typing away. Probably replying to the messages back. I have a feeling that the others probably messaged and called me countless times but I never cared. Food is more important.

"Okay but really though. What is up?" I questioned as we ended up buying another ice cream cone and walking back.

"Nothing is up." He replied back bluntly.

I mean I'm no Sherlock. But even I can tell that something is definitely up. But what?

"If you're not going to tell me then I guess I have to-"

Before I finished my sentence, he got me silenced by just wiping my lips with his thumb. I don't know why. Maybe it's the fact that he moved closer all of a sudden. I was just stunned by his sudden visuals. I don't know.

"You're going to what?" Jungkook continued as he stared at me.

"Never mind" I shook it off.

I heard him laugh as we walked in silence back. We're just friends. Very very close friends.

Irene POV

"It's past 15 minutes." Seulgi nagged as she checked her phone.

"They probably went to play around together or something." Jin answered back.

"They can't be the only one having all the fun. Let's go do something!" Taehyung offered.

"What about we go drinking?" Hoseok offered whilst doing the drinking gesture.

"Oh! We can order chicken and beer as a set!" Wendy cheered on excitedly while clapping

Almost immediately everyone agreed to it. It got them very excited and all.

"Ah.. but if we do drink, Tahyung can't even handle a lot of alcohol. His tolerance level is just-"

Namjoon stopped in his words as he pointed to his hand and moved it all the way down. The rest of us laughed as Taehyung defended back himself.

"Irene unnie, you're laughing? You can't eat chicken nor drink beer a lot either." Seulgi teased me back.

I just shrugged it off as they continued to laugh. Why are all of them so excited about going drinking? It's never a good idea to drink. At all.

"But what chicken store though?" Joy questioned back once everyone settled down.

There's like a hundred and one questions to answer before we could possibly continue with this plan. So much hassle to just drink beer and eat chicken. Maybe we should ditch this idea?

"Doesn't matter, we'll just close our eyes and pick. All chicken are the same anyways. " Seulgi excitedly made a point as she clung onto Jimin.

"But their seasoning and flavours could be different." Yoongi pointed out.

Immediately, Seulgi just waved the thought off. As we all walked back to our dorms.

"It doesn't matter, they're all chicken. We can't discriminate food, hyung." Jimin defended back.

"Alright alright you lovebirds. But where are we heading?" SeokJin stopped them before a fight could start.

"Back to our dorm?" Wendy replied back as she walked in between Hoseok and Yoongi.

"Red Velvet's dorm? Would that even be alright? "Namjoon retorted back.

"Yeah, someone message the other two. Another one call a chicken restaurant or something." I replied back.

"We'll find the chicken restaurant! " SeokJin and Wendy answered almost immediately as Wendy and him shared phones.

"I'll message Jungkookie!" Taehyung cheered as he took out his phone and started typing.

"Does Jungkook always check his phone?" I questioned.

Yeri always don't reply our messages till later. It's interesting to see other maknaes not being like that. Like different from our Yerim.

"No. He only replies to Taehyung quickly. Other than that, he doesn't bother." Jimin sighed from the front.

I just smiled and laughed a bit as we all continued to walk. I looked around and admired the scenery a bit. I always enjoyed the night breeze and the night view.

"Are you having fun?"

I didn't even have to look who said that. I just smiled and nodded to the question. I felt being pulled back a bit more.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm sorry that tonight didn't actually go as planned." He apologized while looking at me.

"Taehyung, it's okay. I understand. But what matters is that we're still together right?" I smiled to him faintly.

"Yeah I guess so. Here, I meant to give this to you earlier but due to some unforeseen circumstances..."

I just laughed as he passed to me a small box. I was about to open it as he ran away from me. Confused, I opened the box to find a ring in it. Immediately, I ran after him barely.

"What is this?" I questioned a bit out of breath

"Just a little something from me." He smiled as he grabbed my hand and wrapped his over mine.

I just smiled as we managed to catch up to the rest. Randomly, Taehyung, held out our entangled hands and smiled.

"Don't these rings match when they're together?" He jokingly asked.

"Did you plan that?" I questioned as he gave an unconvincing laugh.

"Was it too obvious? "

"Can you two lovebirds behind there shut up? There's enough cheesiness for tonight to last the next three years." Yoongi complained as the rest laughed in front of us.

We both looked at each other before laughing out loud together while walking hand in hand.

Jungkook POV

I kind of expected them to hang out a little later together. Considering the message from Taehyung hyung it definitely seems like they are going somewhere fun. This night seems very awkward for me. To make it even worse, Yeri is literally ignoring me and walking in the front silently. I just walked behind her following her footsteps as she stopped all of a sudden.

"This is too awkward for me."

She turned around to me as I just watched her patiently. Seeing her frown, I can tell that she's contemplating over what she's about to say.

"What is it?"

"I LIKE YOU!" She screamed at my face before covering hers.

I smiled a bit as I saw her do that. But what's with this sudden confession?

"Uhmm...Yeri?"

"...as a friend! Yeah as a friend. " She brushed it off laughing awkwardly.

"Yeri?" I said once again as she shook her head.

"It's nothing really. It was too awkward earlier so I thought of cracking a joke." She laughed awkwardly before linking her arm to mine.

"You know, since I'm already wearing this headband and so are you. I didn't wanted to mention it earlier but we look like a couple."

"Like those campus couples!" She cheered while laughing a bit more naturally now.

I nodded as I examined her face features. It isn't much under the faint moonlight and cheap streetlights. But I can tell that she's smiling really happily and looking stunning as always. I laughed as I pulled her closer by holding her waist.

"Let's go,honey? Our anniversary remember? " I pointed out what happened earlier in the day.

"Oh right! I totally forgot about it!" She played along as we laughed.

I messed up her hair as we walked like that. I casually placed my arms around her shoulders as she placed hers around my body. We continued joking around like normal laughing and making fun of everything we see in sight. Luckily it was quite dark so people couldn't recognise us. Or else we would have been dead meat by now. We reached the apartment complex quite quickly. We walked hand in hand to the lift lobby only to let go when we saw SoNyuhShiDae sunbaenim leaving the lift. Why do we always have awkward encounters with them?

"Yeri? Jungkook? Why are you both alone? Where's the rest?" Sunny sunbaenim questioned.

"Uh...I went out for some fresh air and met him on the way so we decided to go back together. The rest should be at the dorm. Well we need to go back now, goodbye unnie!" Yeri cheerfully explained as she pushed me in the lift.

It took me quite some time to put everything in place when we were alone in the lift. I should really fix this habit of mine getting nervous in front of girls naturally.But why wasn't I that nervous when I was with Yeri?

"Yeri, was I nervous when I was with you at first?" I asked as the lift reached our level.

"Me? I don't think so." She simply replied as we left the lift.

Yeri casually waited outside the dorm for me to open the door. I just grinned a bit and punched in the password.

"The others... they're drinking aren't they?" She qurstioned as the door unlocked

"Well it doesn't make a difference anyways." I commented back as she laughed.

I never realised it but Yeri laughs almost at all the little things. I guess that's what makes her attractive to me.

"You said you wanted to sleep under the stars one day right? I guess the odds are in your favour tonight. "

"Well obviously. Let's go to your room! I want to see the stars again!" Yeri replied excitedly while running to my room.

I just smiled picking up her phone which she dropped while running for my room. Obviously she got lost and ended up at the other's room instead. I pulled her back and carried her bridal style as she laughed.

A/n: Sorry for not updating. I'm either not updating regularly on this book or the other... Anyways, this seems kinda bad when I see it again. I promise you the next chapter will be better. And hopefully longer too. This chapter really seems suckish. Take it as a short chapter before the real one or something. I updated 『Skool Luv Affair 』too. Tell me your honest opinions on them. I can handle both bad and good. [Though I know this is bad. ㅠ.ㅠ]

OMG I finally found time to finish this editing. I originally started editing it sometime in September but it got held back till now. Also I realised that I missed this book's 1st Anniversary which was on the 20th September. My bad.
