Two months later....

Jimin checked the mic hidden amongst the flowers for the third time.

"Mic check" he whispered into it. He looked over at Jin who stood behind the bushes. He held a thumbs up to Jimin.

Namjoon and Hobi were making sure everything looked perfect. They had built a small canopy in the meadow on the estate. It was her favourite spot.

It had all been Jungkook's plan. He and Sua had been inseparable for the last two months. They were making everyone gag with their happy couple vibes. Though they kept the PDA to a minimum, their nights seemed to shake the whole house. At least that's how it felt to Jimin, no one else had commented on it. He'd had to move to Sua's old room to get away from it. He didn't mind but it did still hurt.

Jungkook had wanted to propose Sua in the most romantic way possible. He had racked his brain for days before Jin hyung suggested he do it on the estate. Her home was where she was the most happy, he had reasoned.

Hence all the preparations and decorations. Jungkook wanted it to be perfect and he wanted it to be recorded. So he had harassed them all until they had agreed to help. So here they were, waiting for her to arrive. Namjoon had asked her to get dressed for a party, saying he wanted to take her out. He would bring her here instead and Jungkook would surprise her.

Jimin was happy for him. As happy as he was capable of being in his position. Time had done nothing to change his feelings towards Sua, neither had her relationship with his brother. He still loved her and it still hurt.

He watched Jungkook pacing with anxiety and shook his head. "Stop it. It's annoying" Jimin said.

Jungkook giggled. "I'm feeling nervous" he resumed the pacing again.

"Why would you be nervous? Anyone with eyes can see how much she loves you" Jimin grumbled.

"Of course she does and I love her just as much, maybe more" he said dreamily.

It made Jimin nauseous.

"Can you believe it? I'm going to propose" His eyes flittered around. "Who would have thought I would be the first to fall?" He laughed nervously.

Jimin made a non-committal sound.

"I can't believe I almost sent her to you. It could have been you here in my place today" Jungkook said.

"What?" Jimin's head whipped in his direction.

He laughed again. "Yeah! I was going to give her up. I told her she should be with you because you are so much better than me. She came to your room that night, almost knocked before I came to my senses and whisked her away. Sorry hyung! I know how you feel"

"I don't feel anything" Jimin looked away. "She wouldn't have been with me even if you had sent her. She would have still loved you."

"You really think so?" Jungkook asked.

"I know so. I lost her the moment she laid eyes on you" Jimin said quietly.

"I really am sorry, hyung" Jungkook said softly.

Jimin nodded. It wasn't his fault, Sua had made her choice. It was fair.

"There's something I need to confess, Jimin-ah" Jungkook said sadly.

Jimin looked at the younger one again. "Fire away"

"You'll probably hate me for the rest of our lives but I need to get it off my chest. I cannot live like this anymore" Jungkook said. He needed to confess to it before starting his life with Sua.

"There's nothing that could make me really hate you Kookie. I may get mad but I could never hate you. I raised you, pabo"

"I knew you were in love with Sua since the very beginning." He paused, gauging Jimin's face for a reaction.

Jimin nodded. "It wasn't exactly a secret. Turns out everyone knew" he chuckled humourlessly.

"I knew. I saw the way you looked at her."

Jimin looked away. He felt guilty. He still looked at Sua that way sometimes, he couldn't help it. He craved her touch, her attention and sometimes he failed to control his impulses.

"I... I didn't think she was worthy of you." Jungkook hung his head.

"What?!" Jimin exclaimed. "What are you trying to say?"

"I'm trying to tell you that I came between the two of you on purpose. I didn't want you to get hurt. I thought she wasn't good enough for you and so I seduced her to distract her from you." Jungkook explained in a rush.

Jimin flushed red. His anger rising. "You had no right Jungkook-ah"

Jungkook backed away slightly. He had the most awful timing, he thought nervously.

Jimin stared him down the way only Jimin could.

"I will be understanding of the fact that Sua chose you. I know you have grown to love her too. But I'm telling you now Jungkook-ah, if you ever hurt her or cause her even an ounce of pain, I will intervene. I will take her away and you will never see her again." Jimin said in a low voice. He knew the rest of his brothers could hear everything.

"Is that a threat?" Jungkook asked.

"No. It's a promise" Jimin answered, walking away into the woods.

Taehyung spoke into the headset "Way to go JK. You have effectively ruined all the fun"

Jungkook sighed, he really did have awful timing.

It was almost time. Sua would be here in less than half an hour. He adjusted the cuffs of his white button up shirt. He had wanted to wear a suit, he had planned on wearing black as always. He knew she liked black on him but Taehyung had convinced him otherwise. He did have an eye for fashion and aesthetics, so Jungkook trusted him. Now standing in his white shirt and beige pants, under the white canopy surrounded by the pastel coloured flowers, he looked like a part of the whole picture. It was perfect.

"Jimin-ah" Namjoon said through the headset and they all heard it. "Wherever you are going, be back before Sua arrives. It would hurt her if you are not present"

"Hyung! Haven't I done enough? Given enough for both of them? Can't I wallow in my sorrows for a few moments?" Jimin asked, his voice seemed heavier with emotion.

"You can wallow all you want tonight. We will all share your pain Jiminie. But for now, you will be here and you will smile and you will be happy for them. For her. She will look for you first, you know that." Namjoon said.

"I'll be there" Jimin said, sounding resigned.

"Namjoon-ah" Yoongi said in the headset. "She's almost done, she's putting on her shoes. Ah! she's gorgeous tonight. Jungkook-ah you're going to have a hard time speaking right" Yoongi chuckled heartily.

All the rest were laughing while Jungkook wiped the sheen of sweat from his brow.

"I'm on my way Hyung!" Namjoon answered, already sprinting away to the house.

Sua walked towards Yoongi, who held his hand out to her. She grinned as she reached him.

"You look beautiful, yeodongsaeng" Yoongi said, giving her a wide gummy grin.

She was dressed in a flowing, baby pink chiffon dress that fell just below her knees. She had left her hair loose, gliding down her back in soft waves.

"You think?" She twirled and giggled at him. "Where's Joonie?" She peered outside through the front door.

"He's outside. Come on" he said nudging her towards the door.

"Where's everyone else?" She wondered out loud.

"Around" Yoongi muttered vaguely.

Sua frowned. It was weird. They had all being acting weird the last few days. Jungkook had been downright jittery.

"Is everything alright? I'm a little worried" she said softly.

Yoongi stopped and turned around to look at her. "Of course everything is fine. Why are you worried?"

"Hell! I don't know. Maybe because Boss Choi is probably still looking for me? Maybe all of you have grown tired of me being underfoot all the time? I don't know" she shrugged.

"Yah! Why do you spout such bullshit sometimes?" Yoongi asked angrily "Why would we grow tired of you being here? We love having you around. Are you not happy here? Do you want to leave?" His voice cracked in the end.

She sighed "No I don't. That was the first thing Joonie asked me when he came to rescue me from that ambulance. I told him, there is no where in the world I'd rather be"

Yoongi lightly held her face in his hands. She was almost eye level with him in her heels.

"Then stop with this nonsense, please. We will always want you around. We will keep you safe." He stared deep into her eyes, making sure she understood, before letting go and stepping back.

"We will take care of Boss Choi. Honestly, I was more worried about your father tearing down the whole country to find you." He chuckled.

Sua laughed humourlessly "He never really cared much about me. Also, I did call him to tell him I wanted to stay here and that he shouldn't look for me." She shrugged again.

"You did?" He asked, surprised. They had all been half expecting an American S.W.A.T. team to storm the house any day.

She nodded and he chuckled, mockingly wiping the sweat off his forehead "Phew"

She laughed at his antics. They had walked to the back of the house. Joonie was waiting for her. She smiled as she caught sight of him.

"Come on" he said offering her his arm. She took it willingly.

"I was hoping to see the others before leaving but..." she mused and then she noticed Namjoon leading her into the woods.

"Where are we going?" She asked

"You'll see" he grinned, his dimples making an appearance.

Sua looked up as they silently walked down the familiar trail. The sun was setting, drenching the sky in a beautiful purple light. It was a wonderful evening, she thought as her heart swelled at the scene unfolding before her eyes.

They broke through the last of the trees entering the meadow. It was her favourite place. She remembered all the happy times she had spent there with Jimin and Tae.

In the middle of the meadow was a beautiful white canopy decorated with the most gorgeous flowers. Under it stood the love of her life, his face angled away from her as he watched the sun setting over the horizon.

He looked so beautiful, in his white shirt, a light breeze blowing through his dark hair. Her breath hitched as he turned towards her.

He looked ethereal.

She couldn't believe this perfect specimen of a man was hers.

Namjoon untangled their hands "Go on. He's been waiting for you" he said, slowly walking backwards.

Sua didn't notice, her mind was entirely engaged in the sight in front of her. She walked on unsteady feet towards him. He held his hand out to her and she grasped it, interlocking their fingers. He smiled. "So beautiful" he whispered, laying a soft kiss on her knuckles.

"You are beautiful" she replied breathlessly.

He giggled and her heart fluttered. His cute giggling was her most favourite sound in the world.

"What is all this?" She asked, still unable to take her eyes off him.

He didn't answer, instead, he pulled her closer to himself and laid another soft kiss on her forehead.

A soft music had started to play "Dance with me" he said leading her under the canopy. He swirled her around and pulled her back to himself, swaying their bodies to the melody.

"Sua?" he whispered in her ear as he turned with her in his arms.

"Hmmm?" She murmured against his chest, completely lost in the world he had created just for the two of them.

"I know we haven't been together for long. I also know that I have made mistakes." He said softly.

She raised her head and looked into his eyes.

"If you give me a chance, I would spend my life making it up to you so you can forgive me." He said, his eyes burning with the intensity of his emotions

"There's nothing to forgive" She answered simply.

"What did I do to deserve an angel like you?" He wondered out loud, laying his forehead against hers.
"I know I don't deserve someone as amazingly beautiful and kind as you. I don't deserve you." He said.

She started to shake her head but he cut her off.  "Yet for some unknown reason, you decided I was worthy of your love." He turned her around again as the music flowed around them.

"If you'll let me, I will work hard for the rest of my life to be worthy of you" he promised.

She stopped moving and gave him a hard look. "What's with you today?"

Jungkook smiled as he let go of her and got down on one knee. He pulled a small box from his pocket and held it out to her. "My beautiful Yoon Sua, I know I'm a very difficult man to handle, I may sometimes frustrate you to no end, I may make mistakes but I promise you that I will always love you with all my heart and do whatever it takes to keep you safe and happy. If you give me a chance, I will strive every day to be the man you deserve."

He took a deep shuddering breath.

"Jaagiya, would you do me the honour of being my wife and making me the happiest man in the world?"

Sua was speechless. There were so many soppy things she wanted to say but she knew if she tried to speak, she would just look like a blubbering idiot. So she simply nodded instead.

Eyes filled with tears and her heart full of joy as he gently slid the delicate ring on her finger.

Jungkook stood up, his eyes shining with so much joy that it took her breath away. He leaned down and brushed his lips against hers. "Saranghae" he whispered

"Nado Saranghae" she replied trying to swallow the lump in her throat.

She looked down at the ring. It was an intricate design with diamonds that glinted in the soft light.

"I can't wait to tell everyone" she chuckled.

"You don't have to wait."

"What?"

"We are all here" Tae yelled. He was already running towards her. The rest walked behind him. All of their faces were glowing with happiness and excitement.

Amidst all the hugs and the congratulations, Sua didn't miss the frozen, forced smile on Jimin's face. She hugged him again. "I'm sorry" she whispered.

He swallowed before answering "I know. I'm happy, you're happy" he said letting go of her and stepping back.

Jin and Hobi happily cooed over the ring.

Joon hugged her "I'm so happy you said yes. He's a good kid"

Sua smiled at him "Now you tell me"

He laughed and they both watched as the rest of the brothers teased the youngest one.

Jungkook looked up at her, his eyes twinkling with laughter. He saw her smile through tears that were streaming down her face.

"Yah! Don't cry" he exclaimed, reaching towards her.

"I'm so happy" she moaned and they all laughed as they closed in around her, cocooning her in their warmth and love.

This was her home. This is where she belongs, she thought as she hugged them all and basked in their love. This was her world and she couldn't ask for anything more.
