I just wanted to remind everyone how scoring is calculated.

You could make up to 100 points. There are four categories broken down.

Plot 50%

Character Development 25%

Grammar / Vocabulary 15%

Cover / description 10%

I chose four judges per category to real ALL the books in that one category.

They were not split between judges. The reason for that is now I have an average score of ALL judges for the same book.

Each judge is different, some are very nice and give high scores when a book might not have deserved that, and others are more stricken and really evaluate each section.

So to split the books would be unfair. One judge may give a book an overall score of 95% while the other gives a 78%.

Hopefully it makes sense on why I do that. Also not all judges turn in score cards or they send in an incomplete batch, it happens.

Please keep in mind I detract points for each rule that isnt followed. Including if you are not following your judge.

For each judge you were not following it was minus 1 point per judge.

That was the make or break point for some.
