《 BTSVELVET 》

Christmas Day was only days away. Parents are on a rush to get last minute gifts for their kids. Couples rushing to get the perfect presents for their special one. Everything was a mess, a wreck.

"What are you baking?"

The soothing chirps of voice filled the air. Two ladies in chirstmas attires came in the café cheerfully. They immediately took a seat at a table as if they've always came by here.

"Christmas cookies and cakes. Obviously." Another voice replied.

The wonderful scent of vanilla and chocolate filled the air soon. From the oven, came out two freshly baked goods. Chocolate cake and Vanilla Christmas cookies which are still yet to be decorated.

"You know? You two could be a great help in cleaning these dishes." The same voice nagged across the counter.

"You know we don't do that." One of them laughed before grabbing one cookie.

"Where's Irene and Joy?"

"Probably wasting their time to get here. I thought Joy would come here earlier though."

The sky darkens as the trio began to half decorate and eat their creation. It was nearing the end of the day when they finished the tedious task.

"Look who finally came."

Two other ladies came walking in casually. They placed their bags down before jumping excitedly circling their friends.

"Sorry we're late. Christmas shopping."

"Joy, you went shopping with Yeri two days ago."

"Yeah, we bought some anime items too!"

"Aren't you glad we are finally back together? After so long." The baby faced one spoke out.

"Why aren't you two in the pajamas I passed?" Wendy pointed out after returning from the kitchen.

Joy just smiled cheekily before raising the bag up. Without another thought, she ran tlwards the break room along with Irene to change. The other three cleaned up the mess they made before heading up to decorate the room.

"When are the guys going to be online again?" Joy asked after changing in her attire.

"Another 30 minutes!" Yeri screamed back in response before decorating the christmas tree.

From the faces of the girls and how much effort they put. It was definitely obvious that they were excited about this. About meeting the guys after so long. Though it was only going to be a video call. It was the thought that counts.

"When are we supposed to be online again?" Someone screamed out while grabbing the laptop.

"In another hour." Someone else replied.

"Taehyung, did you take my beanie again?"

Someone with a neon pink beanie ran out of the room laughing. Another , holding a santa hat, ran after him. In the background, you can hear a distinct laughter.

"Seulgi bought that for me! Return it back!"

"But it's pink! Irene's colour!"

"Are we still going to surprise the girls later?"

"Obviously. Now go and get ready."

"Awww~ Jimin why are you so weak hearted?" Seulgi cooed as the others frowned and sighed.

"Nobody cares!" Joy and Yeri chorused together before getting hit by a pillow.

"Are you girls at the café?"

"Yeah. Probably going to spend the Christmas here too." Wendy replied sighing.

"Why not you girls come over? We'd be glad to invite you over!" Hoseok cheered smiling happily.

"But it's way too far~ It's not like you guys wpuld just come over here." Yeri complained from the background, unseen from the screen.

She was busy walking around the room while eating the cookies. The others just left her be while still continuing their conversation with the guys. Who knows till how long they'll have this conversation again?

"Yeri, what if I come over there soon?"

Almost immediately, Yeri threw herself onto the others. She faced the screen with her mouth still covered in cookie crumbs.

"Are you really going to? How soon? What about during Christmas?"

The guys faces immediately froze up when she asked that. They wanted their visit to be a surprise. If they were to say the wrong thing now, it would all backfire.

"Wh-what? Jungkook was just spouting nonsense. Of course, we'd want to come over. But with all these schedules, it's logical that we can't." Namjoon sugarcoated it.

"What a way to ruin our mood." Joy added as the rest pished Yeri away from their lap.

"Come on, girls. We really want to be there with you guys. Especially on Christmas. But it just seems a little bit impossible now." Seokjin replied trying to brighten them up.

"Seokjin, it's alright. We understand. I'll comfort Yeri later." Wendy smiled while obviously hiding her ssd face.

"I think we should go. Night guys~ You too Taehyung!" Irene smiled pressing the end button.

On the floor, Yeri was half crying and half eating her cookie. Seulgi was busy trying to coax her to cheer up with more food. On the other side of the screen, the guys were just dumbfounded. Not knowing what to say or react.

"We should go over before Christmas. At least spend Christmas with them." Taehyung spoke up amongst the silence.

"Ahh~ How long has it been since we touched Korean grounds?" Yoongi cheered jumping around.

"YO!"

The guys all simultaneously turned around and saw Minho waving over at them. They looked at him suspiciously. They never expected him to be there at all.

"I'll be your escort to the Christmas Party later." He bowed to them as they did the same.

"Did Taehyung tell you about this?"

Minho nodded before grabbing the bags and walking with them. Some of them felt awkward with the sudden arrival of Minho. They are close with him but it's still awkward. When they reached outside the airport, there was a limo waiting for them.

"Did I plan this? No. But the rest of us wanted the best for our girls boyfriend. So yeah." He smiled before reassuring then in.

"When is the party anyways?" Hoseok asked as they all settled down.

"In another one hour. You guys actually arrived just in time. Though the gurls always come on time or at least five minute before the party officially starts."

"We still need time to change and all." Jungkook added while still looking around.

"Yeah. Yeri is going to be really happy to see you."

Jungkook turned to him curiously as the others were purposely ignoring it.

"She was sulking for quite some time the fact that you all said you weren't going to come. I had to put all my effort to try not ruin the plans." Minho continued.

Everyone hummed a response as he just smiled. The thought of his favourite little sister being genuinely happy and possibly nearly crying. It was just a happy and beautiful sight for him. He just wants her to always be happy like that. Her and the rest of Red Velvet. They're always acting like they're fine. He knows very well that the guys are going to seriously make them smile a lot.

"If it weren't for the food, I hate this party." Yeri complained to Chaeyoung who just laughed.

It was a typical elegant and classy Christmas party. All the guests were in formal attire. Talking with one another and eating the very little portions of food served.

"What even is this food?" Chaeyoung added to the complaints.

The two of them continued their feast at the table. Their other members are probably stuck in a boring comversation with someone.

"Amongst everyone here, who would you bring along in a deserted island?" Yeri whispered.

"Myself. I'm such a great person to bring." Chaeyoung joked.

They both laughed before composing themselves. They shouldn't ruin their image this easily.

"What about you? Amongst everyone here, who would you date?"

Yeri's eyes scanned through the entire room. Everyone here is so plain and basic. Well she doesn't exactly like anyone. They are either like a brother or a friend to her. Everyone except

"Jungkook?"

"What? Yeri, he isn't even- Jungkook?" Chaeyoung's voice nearly screamed.

These two are definitely not idiots. They can easily tell that the seven idiots who just walked in are BTS. One of which is Jungkook. Everyone else seems to ignore their presence. As if they weren't real or there.

"Okay, what should we say to the girls when we meet?" Seokjin whispered

"What about a 'Why you guys are here?' explaination?"

"Oh yeah, that's a great idea Yeri. YERI?!"

They all turned around as Yeri jumped onto Jungkook and fell on top of him on the floor. She hugged him tightly while snuggling her face on his chest.

"You all are liars. I love you guys." She smiled while still hugging him.

"Yeah. What she said."

Their attention switched from Yeri and Jungkook to the other three girls who immediately attacked them. Based on their faces, it was just filled with smiles and pure happiness. The other guests seems to just choose to either ignore this beautiful scene or watch it. It was very cringeworthy but still cute.

"Tae, I really missed you. A lot." Irene choked while stuffing her face in his neck.

Taehyung hugged her back tightly while holfing back his tears. He smiled weakly before caressing her hair.

"Me too."

"Why aren't you wearing the beanie?!" Seulgi screamed as she chased Jimin around.

"You expect me to wear a bright neon coloured beanie to a formal event like this?" He complained back while still running.

"You look too perfect like that. You need to wear something for them to avoid looking at your face."

Jimin stopped running as Seulgi caught up and stopped in front of him. He cupped his small hands around cheeks while smiling.

"Now who would look at my gave asides from me?"

"A lot of girls? They were basically ok their knees just by looking at your face. You didn't noticed?" Seulgi answered softly.

"No. Because you are the only one I see."

They both exchanged shy looks before exchanging deep meaningful kisses.
