Jungkook sighed as he stared at the calendar. It's that time of the month again. Christmas time. He always hated Christmas. Don't know why. We'll probably get to it soon. Anyways, he always have hated Christmas. To make it worser, there's always the same perky girl coming over and over to his house with no fail. To apparently spread the Christmas cheer according to her. The only thing she's spreading is the annoyance of company. He's always despised the girl and have constant little fights with her. He waited at his sofa staring at the door waiting for her to knock. Seconds turned to minutes and minutes turned to hours. The girl never came by. He thought something was odd, she always visits even though he always asks her to go away. No way.... has today finally became the day she actually listens? Just as he was about to celebrate a knock was heard.Oh no... he let her knock for another three to four more times before finally opening it.

"I thought I always told you to go away." He scowled at the girl as she smiled beamingly.

"You can keep telling can me to do so for as long as you want. You know I'm never gonna listen anyway." The girl replied twirling her pigtails.

"Urgh...whatever. I thought you actually listened turns out I was so dead wrong." Jungkook continued to scoffed.

"Ooohhh....were you waiting for me to come over?" She began to ask getting on his nerves.

"Nope. Now do your regular things before I shut this door at your face like usual." Jungkook replied crossing his arms waiting impatiently.

"Today's a little different, Jungkook."

Before Jungkook could even say anything, the girl barged into his house and sat down at his sofa in front of the fireplace.

"What are you doing here? Go out now. Or I'll call the police." He threatened.

"Chill. I told you today's different. I'm gonna make you into the Christmas spirit this year. If I fail, I'll never visit ever again in the future." She offered a deal.

Jungkook eyed her as she just smiled innocently raising out her hand. Seeing nothing to lose, Jungkook shook her hand as she pulled him next to her.

"What are you do-"

His sentence was cut off by her fingers. He squinted his eyes at her before obeying her rules. Well might as well have some fun with her before she leaves forever. The next thing Jungkook knew, she took out a book fr her bag. Not to forget it was a thick book.

"You're gonna bet to change me through a book?" He laughed at her as she looked questionable.

"Husshhhh.....This is my moment. Anyways, have you heard of the story of Ebenezer Scrooge?" The girl asked him curiously as she wiped off the dust on the book.

"Well who hasn't? He's the guy who at first hated Christmas but soon learned the true meaning of it. Also I thought the novel title was A Christmas Carol? " Jungkook asked now interested.

"Yeah, it is. Well you know who Park Jimin is right? Well he gave me this book saying it will help me in getting you into the holiday spirit. "

Jungkook took one glance at the cover. "A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens". It was all dusty and old. Why would this help me in getting my Christmas spirit? Jungkook wondered. The girl totally ignoring whatever he was saying began to read the first page. Jungkook totally uninterested began to feel very sleepy. He yawned before stretching and falling asleep.

"Wake up you,idiot. "

Jungkook shot up at the sound of that. He took one look at however woke him up and was scarred. The guy was in an old raggy dirty clothes.

"What the hell? Did that girl bring you in?" Jungkook screamed pointing at the thing or guy.

"Excuse you. That girl has a name."

"Yeah. Thanks a lot Mr Sassy Pants. But I don't give a damn about her name. I want to know who are you and why are you in my house?" Jungkook asked reaching for the telephone.

"Are you really stupid or stupid? I'm Park Jimin, the ghost of the past."

"Park Jimin? You're that dude who gave that girl the book! Was this a plan for you guys? What nonsense ghost of the past?!" Jungkook screamed once again.

Just as he was about to complain again, a little boy came running in. He was young about the age of five to six. He was in his pyjamas and running towards the Christmas tree. Not long after, a little girl about two years younger than him came running in.

"Oppa! I want to open the prezzies too!" The little girl mumbled cutely running in little steps.

"That kid is you if you're wondering. The guy of course." the Jimin guy crept behind.

Just as he was about to question, a young woman came walking in. Jungkook immediately tried to hide from the sight of the woman as she approached the two kids.

"Jungkook,Yeri. Go and wait for your father and your parents to return first. Santa will be disappointed if you open your presents too soon." The lady said as she picked up the both of them to another room.

Just in the nick of time, the younger Jungkook grabbed a little box and hid it under his clothes. Little did that little kid knew that the Yeri girl saw it.

"Go put it back. Santa will be mad." The girl mumbled on her words again.

"No! I don't care! I'm gonna open it!" Jungkook screamed like a bratty child.

"Mama Jeon! Jungkook stole one of the presents!" The Yeri girl screamed as the same woman came running up.

Just as something was to happen, the scene froze. Jungkook,the real one, looked at the little self and realised the true reason he hated Christmas was because of the bratty girl Yeri. Just randomly, the scene changed back to the same living room. Only much more darker and less livelier.

"What is this place now? Hello~ Park Jimin?" Jungkook called out.

"Bish~ Jimin is not here. This is the future. The future is now! I'm Kang Seulgi. You must be the most handsomest young lad I've ever being tasked to do this to." A more weirder looking girl popped up.

"The future? Why is it so dull?" Jungkook asked Whee he is actually afraid of doing so.

"Because Yeri lose her bet and promised to never come back."

Jungkook then realised that the girl who had always visited him is the same girl who destroyed his Christmas. Why is she doing all this? To ruin my Christmas even more? Jungkook thought hard.

"Stop thinking hard you idiot. You liked her but you never realised it. When she was really gone, you felt empty and worthless since there was no one else interested in you."

Jungkook sighed in a sad tone. He realised this too. That his life purpose was to always see this Yeri girl in his life all the time. Yeah they have constant fights but he still doesn't realize that the ones who fight the most liked each other the most. He took one look at the future him, all grubby and messed up. He doesn't want to live like that. The Seulgi dude smiled before snapping her fingers.

"And that was how he learned the true meaning of Christmas. "

Jungkook rubbed his eyes before turning to the girl next to him. The girl looked back at him before shutting the book shut.

"What's wrong with you?" The girl asked curiously, keeping the book.

"Your name's Yeri, right?" He asked cautiously grabbing a pillow for protection.

"Yeah. I never actually thought you knew or remembered. You always never seemed to care about me." Yeri sighed grabbing her bag.

"Where are you going?" Jungkook asked as he walked her to the door.

"You don't seem to have changed at all. I lose the bet. The deal was that I leave your life forever remember? " Yeri said as she reached the door knob.

Jungkook soon realised what this might lead to in the future. If he doesn't change it,he'll live a life like a maniac in hopeless love. Jungkook pushed her hands away before pinning her to the door.

"What makes you think so?"

Yeri looked at him emotionless as he stared at her full of worry and anxiousness.

"I think...I just figured out the true meaning of Christmas. " Jungkook said before crashing his lips onto Yeri's.

Meanwhile the past and future were standing at the side watching the two couple.

"What did happen in the past after all that?" Seulgi asked Jimin curiously.

"This."

The young Yeri looked in sadness as Mdm Jeon carried Jungkook away preventing him from opening the presents later. She then approached Mdm Jeon.

"Don't be angry at Jungkook. It was my fault he did that. Please don't scold him or take away his prezzies." Yeri pouted to Mdm Jeon.

"Awwwhhh... I won't if you say so. " Mdm Jeon replied before walking away to get Jungkook.

Yeri waited for him patiently as she wants tonopen the eh presents together. When Mdm Jeon returned with Jungkook,he began to throw a tantrum when he saw Yeri.

"I DON'T CARE! I DON'T LIKE CHRISTMAS ANYMORE AND IT'S ALL BECAUSE OF HER!" He yelled pointing at Yeri.

Yeri who knew nothing then looked down before crying as Jungkook continued his little tantrums about hating Christmas.

"So babe, what is gonna happen to them now?" Jimin asked Seulgi as they both cuddled up watching Jungkook and Yeri continue to have sweet little moment.

"Well they have a bright future ahead. Just like us." Seulgi joked as the two of them laughed watching Yeri and Jungkook.

"Who would have thought that the meaning of Christmas to him was just having Yeri around him." Jimin sighed.

"Being around someone you love is the main point,you idiot." Seulgi laughed hitting his head.

And just like that, Jungkook changed his ways and views on Christmas. Mainly because Yeri told him too but he changed into someone who now cherish Christmas the most of all. #swegout.❦
