'Guys'

Our English 1st paper teacher said with a smile.We couldn't actually understand why she was smiling.Maybe she was pleased or simply our project was not up to the mark!

Our hearts were beating as fast as anything.We had just presented our project for which we worked hard for 3 days continuously.Even if it couldn't get the full marks,but we were quite confident that we would at least get the second highest.

'Your project was amazing...Everyone in this group will get full marks.' She widened her smile.

We cheered in happiness.Suhana hugged me tightly and said,'Girl....you literally had done all the work.So all credits to you.'

Everyone else except akash agreed too.Well...He just smirked.

I roll my eyes and start walking towards the canteen.But I could feel footsteps behind me until I was near the stairs.I turn back with a stern expression and see it's akash.

'What do you want?'I roll my eyes.

'Thanks for the project,snob.'

'I have a name,okay?Anyways you're welcome.' I somewhat try to smile and turn towards the canteen.

I was a bit rude,I realized this after a minute.

Well my puppy-type crusher didn't follow me anymore and went back to the classroom,Which was kind of a relief to me!

When I come back to classroom,I observed that our squad is discussing something near the stairs.I walk up to them and ask,What's up guys??

Ayaz smiles and replied,'we were thinking if we could go to any place for outing.I mean any Restaurant or something?'

Everyone else agreed,except rupkotha and me.

Rupkotha went honest and said,my mum won't allow...so sorry!!!

Suhana smiled and said,Give me your mum's number.I'l request her.

'Wait...I totally forgot mom's out of town for a few days.Then I'm surely gonna come!' Rupkotha smiled.

Now everyone stared at me.Of course I'm not gonna turnish my mumma's reputation by saying she is too bossy-type,atleast not infront of my friends.

So instead I say,I don't have a car..dad went to office with it you know...

They all mourned.

Ahallya...you hardcore liar!!!  I scold myself internally.

Wait....Ishika says,'we three are going by the same car.we can pick you up.'

'But...'

Before I could say something,koushik says,We don't wanna hear anything.You're coming and that's final!

I kept quiet and they all considered it as a Yes.

'So today at takeout's burger.' Akash says and walks away.

I kept on feeling guilty until the last period as I lied.I should've told them the truth.Now I have to go home,fall in mom's feet and beg her to let me go to takeout's!!

I reach home ten minutes later and search for mom.She was taking a shower that time,so I had to wait for another half hour.It's already 2:30 and Ishika will pick me up at 3:00!!

She at last comes out and asks me,'Did you want to tell me anything dear?'

'Mum...actually my friends are going out to takeout....they are coming to pick me up..I couldn't say no...So please can I go??' I say really fast.

Mom keeps quiet for a while then lets out a long sigh.....

I know she is gonna say no!!Oh god,please do something!!!

She at last said, 'You can go...I know I've always been strict but.....I do care for you.'

I really become shocked and happy at the same time,and hug her.

'Thankssss!! '  I shout.

'You're welcome.But are there any guys coming there?' She narrows her eyes in suspection.

I know she will say no!!! But after doing all this melodrama,I don't wanna hear a no from her!!! I have to lie!!!

'Nope'  I shake my head in denial.

I leave her and start heading towards my room to get ready.

'Freedom...Isn't it all you teenagers want??'  She finally asks.

I turn back and smile as an answer.It took me 15 minutes to get ready and while I was applying the lip gloss,ishika called and I press the lift button.

Before getting down,I could see Yasir and mom talking together in a corner.They went completely silent as they saw me.Of course something is wrong,but I don't have the time now to talk to them.

Half an hour later:

''Are they gonna come or something?" Ishika looks irritated.

"Exactly!!Are they stupids?I can consider Akash.He must be flirting around with either nashalie or Rithi,Or...okay,the list won't finish.But where are others?" I slammer.

Rupkotha and suhana are busy taking selfies.But my stupid mobile's battery is dead,and Ishika didn't bring any electronics.So we are totally feeling damn bored from the rest half hour,the funner boys aren't here yet!! They were the one who called us,for them I even lied to my dearest mom.And now they aren't here!!!

I have called koushik a 100 times and everytime ,he just replies,''we're on the way'''.

They at last come in,with a sheery 100-watt smile.

"Guys,did you order the food?" Rousam asks.

''Nope,we were waiting for you.Now please,order it." I say angrily.

"okay ''

Rousam comes back ordering the burgers and smoothies,and tells everyone to pay.It will take around 15 minutes to get the meal.So,we are sitting here bored.Koushik and Rousam are trying to flirt with a girl in facebook,while suhana and ishika are giving them tips to get her.

Rupkotha is still in her mobile,while Akash is constantly trying to flirt with her.Like what the fudge???

Well, I'm totally alone!

Ayaz was also sitting in another corner alone,doing nothing or maybe staring at the girl on the side table....They're all perverts!

I sit beside him and ask,''What's up with you? I mean,are you feeling lonely or something? "

''Actually....yes! ''

''why ?''

''you know,others are busy flirting,but I don't like all these stuffs.'' Ayaz lowers his head.

''At last,I've found someone who has something in common with me.''' I sigh.

He sighs too.

Ayaz and I try to talk about some random stuffs,but we both grew silent after a while.Perhaps,we both have realized that we are actually loners,different from all!

I turned into a snob for loneliness and ayaz,such a nice guy turned into a loner.That's actually very sad!

Suddenly when we were lost in thoughts,koushik nearly jumped in front of us and asked,''We're all playing truth and dare.Wanna join? "He looked really excited.

I personally wasn't in a mood,but agreed because I wanted to cheer ayaz up.

Rupkotha spins the bottle.

Firstly,koushik asked suhana if she had the chance to do her dream job or get married to a millionaire,what would she chose.

suhana replied confidently that she would marry the millionaire.We all burst into laughter.

One after one,everyone gets their turn.Most of the questions were whom did they like? Everyone answered indirectly.I didn't get even one chance,so I was lucky!

Final question was asked by Akash to Ayaz,''Who is your best friend among the girls? "

Ayaz smiled and replied,''Ahallya.She is the nicest one here."

I smile.At last,I've a friend of my type.

Suhana narrows her eyes and says,''So you've a crush on Ahallya? "

"When the hell did I say that ?" Ayaz nearly shouts.

Everyone starts laughing at his reaction,though he was still furious!

Among all this,I hear a known a known voice behind me.

He was saying,"Have you seen this girl here ?"

I turned around and see...it's Yasir!!!! He is talking to a waiter showing his mobile,but he didn't see me yet.

What the hell is he doing here??? Okay,now I understand why mom has let me come here.Because she wanted yasir to spy on me!! Pathetic! How did I even think that She would let me go so easily?

Anyways,I had lied and if yasir sees the funner boys here,he will tell mom everything.

I get down under the table to hide instantly.Everyone becomes as surprised as anything!

Ayaz asks,''Ahallya,what's wrong?"

I hold his leg with my right hand fast.He looks under the table and tries to say something.But I indicate him to keep quiet.Everyone else also gets a hint that something's wrong!

But I could hear footsteps coming towards the table.

Yasir asks ayaz.''Did you just now say 'ahallya' ? "

''Nope..I said aliyah."Ayaz replies.

''Who is aliyah? " Yasir asks suspectfully.

Ayaz instantly points at ishika and says,''She is aliyah,my sister."

Yasir asks ishika,"Are you aliyah?"

''Umm....Y-Yesss!!'' Ishika replies,without a hint what the fudge was happening!

''okay,sorry for interfering.Carry on! " Yasir says and walks out of the cafe.

I let out a sigh of relief!
