☆1. A perfect Bride?

She smiled as she wore the red bangles in her hands one by one. She blushed on seeing her face glow. Her eyes were down all these times on her hands that were placed on her lap.
"Meher!" She heard her mother, Tarannum calling her.

A smile escaped her lips as she looked herself in the mirror. She looked a perfect bride, although she wasn't one. Her eyes were applied with the perfect makeup and her lips, without lipstick were more than pink. She applied a red lipstick and then wore her earing.

"Meher!" Tarannum entered her room and closed the door .
"Assalamualaikum, Ammi!" She greeted her in soft voice.
"Walekumassalam beta! Ma Sha Allah you look so gorgeous." Tarannum replied applying her kohl (kajal) on back of her ear.
(Kohl is used as a way of protection from evil eyes.)

"Thank you." she replied with a smile.
"Ya Allah it's just your Roka (engagement) appi (elder sis), and look at you, already looking a bride." Sana said entering the room with Rabiya and Seher.
Meher blushed out red with her statement. "Seems like jiju is going to have a hard time taking his eyes off you." Rabiya teased her.

"He isn't your jiju appi." Meher replied still blushing.
"Look at that red colour! Rabiya appi she is blushing even more than you blushed on your Nikah!" Seher teased her making her burry her face in her palms.
"Stop teasing her girls and go check out our guests." Tarannum said showing the girls the way to door.

"Are you Sure Badi-Ammi? Cause you already know if once Seher appi goes out, your younger son-in-law is waiting with his eyes fixed on the stairs." Sana teased Seher and her eyes widened on hearing that.

"Younger son-in-law?" Seher asked her with broad eyes.
"Yup!" Sana replied with a big smile. She dragged Seher to the window of Meher's room from where the living room was easily visible. She pointed on to a handsome guy sitting on the sofa with 3 more boys.
Seher's jaw dropped to the floor seeing him.

"What is he doing here?" She asked her which sounded more as an excited statement.
"Ask him yourself." All the 3 girls including Meher said at once.

The ladies left Meher alone and went downstairs to attend the guest. She sat on her bed and picked up her cell phone. She checked some messages and replied them. She kept her phone aside and went to the bathroom. She made her wudhu (ablution) and came back to offer Nafil Namaz (Salah/prayer) so as to calm herself down. She heard the beep of her cell phone and read the message.
"We are finally here, hope to see you soon... Hamid. " she smiled at the message and sat on the sofa. She waited for the girls to come and inform her about the arrival of her groom, Hamid.

"So all set to go? Where are your suitcases?" Fahad teased Meher as he entered her room.
"Jiju!" She frowned.
"What? It's not my fault I got confused on seeing you. I thought it was just your engagement but you look a bride, oops! A perfect Bride!" He teased her again gaining a playful punch in his stomach.

"Can you guys compliment me like a real gentlemen rather than teasing?" She folded her hands on her chest.
"Sorry." Fahad said holding his ears.
"It's alright!" She smiled.
"But she looks a perfect monkey!" Ayaan said as he entered Meher's room.
"Who gave you permission in here? It's my room! Out now!" She shouted throwing a pillow on him.
"Relax princess, I was just joking. You don't look a monkey at all. I'm so sorry." He said holding his ears too. She smiled and hugged him.
"You look exactly a donkey!" He added and Meher ran after him.

Ayaan took shelter after Rabiya first. "Ayaan, not my wife!" Fahad ordered.
"Sorry!" He shifted to Seher next.
"Bhai! You will spoil my hair!" She scolded him.
"Now you will also betray me?" He frowned and she moved aside. Meher was straight in front of her prey. She had a wild smirk on her lips that signaled Ayaan to run for his life.
Ayaan ran again and this time tried to escape her room but suddenly got bumped into someone when he was about to leave the room.
"Ouch!" She said. She was about to fall but suddenly felt two strong arms surrounding her body. She opened her one eye and blushed red.
"Ahem Ahem!" All the cousins teased at once. Ayaan let her go and Sana was soon down on the floor.
"Ya Allah! What have you guys done to the room? And where is Sana I sent her in to check on you but..." Aksa stopped in between and then added, "why are you sleeping on the floor that to at this time Sana?"

"Badi-Ammi (father's brother's wife/ aunt), Ayaan bhai pushed her." Seher said pushing Ayaan in front of Aksa.
"Allah miya, mai kya karu is ladke ka? (Oh God! What should I do with this guy?)" She slapped her forehead and everyone laughed.

"That's not funny, give me your hand!" Sana scolded Ayaan. He refused to give his hand and within no time Sana kicked him on his foot and he was down too laying beside her.
"You!" He shouted.
"What you?" She said with an evil grin and stood up.
"Aksa aunt, I'll make Ayaan clean this place and don't worry Fahad jiju will help him too!" She dragged both of them in the cleaning situation earning a we-will-see-you-later look.

"Alright but hurry up, Hamid's family is already here. Boys clean up the mess you made and Rabiya I don't want to see you standing again when I return. It's not good for your health!" She scared Rabiya with her words and left.

"Clean the mess!" Sana mimicked Aksa with an award winning smile.
"I don't understand why we allow outsiders inside our house!" Ayaan said in a frustrated tone.
"Cause she is our neighbor, and neighbours are close to family!" Said Rabiya hugging Sana.

"Yep she is right! Neighbours are close to family and soon to be family!" Fahad winked at Meher.
Sana's face turned pink and she left the room. Ayaan was shocked with his cousins sudden behaviour. He also started to walk out of the room only to be stopped by Seher who was busy with her cell phone.
"Bhaiyu, (bro) planning to follow Sana Bhabhi?"

"She isn't your Bhabhi!  And will never be!" He said in an irritated tone.
"Who knows!" All said at once.
"Fahad bhai, Ayaan bhai, Jamil uncle is calling you both downstairs." Kaif said standing at the door. Seher got alerted on his voice and kept her phone aside.
"Tell that neighbour of yours, we're going, happy room cleaning to her!" Ayaan said as he rushed out of the room.

"It's really dangerous nowadays to enter these girls room, we can't handle them!" Fahad said walking between Ayaan and Kaif.

"I know, that's why I didn't came along you guys and specially when Aqib is not with us, we stand no chance to win!" Kaif laughed.
"Kaif these girls are nothing as compared to there ace of spade, Zehra. If she was here no one could have ever won from these girls!" Fahad frowned.

"Is she coming on Meher's wedding?" Kaif asked.
"No idea, she said it's not possible to make it up this year!" Ayaan replied.

"I hope to see her soon!"
"Kaif bhai!" Sana came rushing towards him.
"Yes sweetie!" He replied to her with a gentle smile.
"Your work is done!" She winked at him.
"Thanks a lot honey bunch!" He extended his hand to Sana and she shook it and left.
"Work?" Ayaan asked.
"Long story!" He winked on the two and left them.

They both looked at him stunned and then Fahad finally said,
"This guy..."
"...is mad in love!" Ayaan completed his sentence.

Few minutes later Sana sent Seher to the backyard, saying Shahbaz wants to talk to her there.

"Dad! What happened? You called..." Seher stopped in middle of her words and then added, "Kaif?"
"Assalamualaikum!" He greeted her with a smirk.
"WalekumasSalam, you here?" She asked yet blushing.
"Umm... I called you here!" He said running his fingers in his hair taking some steps towards her.
"May I know why?" She asked taking a step towards him.

"Because... I wanted to show you this." He whispered in her ears making her shiver.

He shifted to a side and revealed a beautiful scenario. She saw a horse cart standing right in front of her decorated with glitters, roses, and flowers of all sorts. She loved it.
"Wanna have a ride?" He again whispered in her ears holding her form back. She simply nodded and blushed.
"You are mad!" She said.
"In your Love!" He replied.
They sat on the horse cart and Kaif tried to drive it but the horse didn't move. He tried again and again but nothing happened.

"Seems like the horse is not in a mood to walk." She said in a playful voice. "I think so." He frowned.
"Don't be sad, we'll go some other day." She said holding his hand.
"I wanted to go today." He said walking out of the cart.

"What you did today was more than my expectation. Idiot! I was joking about riding a horse cart and you brought it in real, you are the best Kaif, my prince charming!" She said and gave him a peck on his cheek and ran back into the house.

He stood there dumbfounded. He was startled to see her behave so frank and free with him, as few weeks back they hardly knew each other. His hand reached his cheek where she kissed and that gave him goosebumps.
