Blind!Dallon

Third Person POV

"Dallon and Marty are here Ryan." Ryan's boss Shelby says.

Ryan smiles watching his boyfriend and his guide dog come into the coffee shop. "Can I take my break now?" Ryan asks his boss.

"Of course." She says knowing that Ryan usually asks when Dallon comes and Ryan is a hard worker so she lets him.

"Is anybody sitting there?" Ryan asks Dallon.

"No, I can move." Dallon quickly responds sitting down.

"No, don't Babe." Ryan laughs kisses his boyfriend before sitting down across from him.

"Marty here doesn't bite. Just please don't feed or pet him while he's working." Dallon says reaching his hand out for Ryan to hold his.

Ryan holds his boyfriend's hand "I thought you weren't coming today."

"Got bored and I missed you," Dallon says letting go of Ryan's hand and takes his laptop out of his bag.

"You're still working?" Ryan asks

"Yeah, have to finish a few things, they close at five today, right?" Dallon asks

"Yep on Fridays, we close at five."

"I love you," Dallon tells his partner.

"I love you too." Ryan says back "Do want anything?"

"My usual, please," Dallon says

"Already, got it for you." Shelby sits two drinks in front of the two and they engage in conversation.

Ryan likes seeing his boyfriend during his shifts.One of his favorite parts of working there and on top that he really likes his job as well. Dallon usually stays until closing and walks home with Ryan.

"Who that hell has a dog in here?" A man practically yells out sneezing.

"Sir your dog is messing with my husband's allergies." A woman comes up to the two.

"I'm sorry," Dallon says and continues to his conversation with Ryan.

"Tell him to get the dog out of here!" The lady yells at Ryan who was actively ignoring her.

"Sir!" the woman yells at Ryan again. "Tell him to take the dog out of here."

"Ma'am I can't, we allow service animals in the store," Ryan says calmly he's not even on the clock.

"But my husband is allergic." The woman says again acting like it will really change anything. Both Dallon and Ryan have learned to ignore people like this.

"I'm sorry to hear that." Ryan shrugs

The woman grabs the drink of the person sitting behind Ryan and throws it on Ryan. Thank God it was iced and not a hot drink.

"What the hell!?" Ryan gasps "Dallon are you okay?"

"I'm okay?" Dallon says not really knowing how to react still trying to figure out what just happened. He figures based off Ryan's reaction and all the noise that drink was spilled or thrown so move his laptop.

"Ma'am I'm gonna have to ask you to leave." Shelby pissed off about the mess and treatment of one of her favorite customers and employees

"Why should I leave he is the one with a dog in here?"

"On the door it says we allow service animals in here. You just yelled at a blind man and my employee about him having a guide dog in my store and then poured a drink on one of them." Shelby says keeping a calm demeanor.

The woman was too stunned to speak. Do people really think about their actions? The woman goes to her husband leaves not saying another word.

"Ryan hun to can go home and Sir do want another drink it's on the house."

"Thank you, Shelby."

"Yes please." The man behind Ryan says.

"It's no problem I'll see you tomorrow maybe you as well Dallon."

"Bye Shelby." Both Ryan and Dallon say and make their way to the door.

"Are you okay Ryan?" Dallon ask as the walk out the door.

"Yep, I'm just happy it was cold and didn't get on your stuff. Does stuff like that happen often?" Ryan couldn't imagine if what would have happened if Dallon was there by himself.

"Sometimes but it's more people not believing I'm blind and they give me a hard time about it." Dallon says

"That must suck." Ryan says feeling bad Dallon has to got through such rude encounters.

"It makes life interesting nonetheless." Dallon shrugs
