BRENDON'S POV

February 14, Valentine's Day
Oh god I'm a nervous wreck right now because today is the day I'm going to say to Dallon that I have a crush on him, it was kinda a dare from my friends though, but I'm not a coward so I'll do their dare.

I start to pack my things in to my bag and walk outside heading to Gerard's house.

About maybe a few blocks later I see Gerard's house, I knock on the door and it immediately gets open by the one and only, Sass Queen, I-I mean Gerard.

"Ayy Brendon! What's up?" He greets me, dressed up very emo.

"Dude, you ready for school?" I ask him. "I don't wanna go to school, but if it means me getting to see you get all flustered because of Dallon then its worth it." he snickers

"Oh shut up you jacket slut," I mock him "lets just head to school already." I add.

We start walking towards the school, after Gerard got chocolates for his boyfriend, Frank.

Then I feel like I forgot something.. I can't put my finger on it- SHIT THE FLOWER I'M GONNA GIVE DALLON! I LEFT! Oh wait I probably said that out loud.

"Yeah you did," Gerard tells me while smirking "Soo are you gonna get those flowers? Lover boy?" He says, wiggling his eyebrows. Sometimes I really hate him.

I roll my eyes and say "Wait for me here I'll get the flower,"

Before he could reply, I already ran off to my house.

"Hey y'know Beebs that flower actually looks lovely,"Gerard says to me as we walk into the school. We were gonna go to Pete's house but we could've gotten late and we didn't want that.

"You sure? I think its kinda stupid.." I frown, thinking that Dallon won't like it.

"Oh shut up, it looks pretty!" I grin at him, as he says that.

Then I see a very tall boy, I narrow my eyes and the moment I realise who it is, Gerard looks like he's about to call him, I try to quiet him down but its too late.

"HEY BEEBS! DALLONS HEREEE!"

I start to blush as Dallon turns around, him having somewhat of a confused face.

Then I kinda just gaze at him. Like how can someone be so hot but cute at the same time??

"Ooooh Brendon, he's looking at ya." Gerard says to me teasingly, pulling me out of my thoughts.

I blush even more at the fact that my crush is looking at me. I look away and hit Gerard on the arm.

"Oh shut up firetruck," I mutter but he just chuckles, "Dude its fine, Dallon and Josh are gone, they probably went to class already- oh dude we should too."

"Yeah you're right, well I'll see you later Gee!" "See ya Beebs!" And part our ways

Right now I'm in Mrs. Jackson's class with Pete talking about the dare, because Mrs. Jackson said we could do whatever because it's Valentine's Day.

"Did you give your flower while Dal was there?" Pete questions me.

"No, Gerard literally yelled at him to get his attention and I was just.. standing there." My face start to heat up again from remembering what happened earlier.

"Looks like somebody is blushingg!"

"Oh shut up," I fold my arms on the desk and put my head down.

As I do that, I hear the classroom door open I don't think much about it until I hear the person's voice.

"You're welcome Mrs. Jackson!"

Its Dallon. Shit. Maybe if I just keep my head down he won't recognise me-

"HEY DAL!"God dammit Pete.

"Brenny over here has a big crush on youuuu!" My head shoots up.

"N-no, I d-don't!" As I say that my face is a crimson colour.

"Uh hell yeah you do!" "Shut up Pete!"

"But its true!" "Pete you're embarrassing mee!" Is it even possible to get more red than I already am?

Then I hear the door close, I look over and see that Dallon went out, I sigh. Great now he probably doesn't like me.

"Hey thats not true," "Wait did I say that out loud?" "Yup," "Dammit I have to stop doing that,"

I sigh again and rest my head on my desk again.

"I'll talk to Dal later.."

Breathe in. Breathe out. You can do this Brendon.

I walk towards Mr. Miller's classroom, with a flower behind my back.

I knock on the door and peek. "I-I'm looking for D-dallon? Is h-he in here..?" I ask.

"Yeah, I'm here!" I look over to where I heard Dallon's voice, he's with Josh and Patrick.

"C-can I talk to you? For a sec?" I stutter out. "Yeah sure."

He stands up and says something to Josh and Patrick then he walks over to me.

"So what did you wanna talk about?" He asks me while closing the door.

"Uhm about earlier.. sorry about my friends." I look at the floor feeling incredibly embarrassed.

"oh no, its okay Brendon." he says reassuringly.

After awhile of silence, Dallon asks something.

"Soo is it true that you have a crush on me?" I look up at Dallon sheepishly, my face flushed.

"M-maybe.." "Hey its okay. I may also have a slight crush on you too"

awe thats cute- wait what, did I hear that correctly?

"Y-You're serious?" "Yeah I'm serious, you just look really adorable." I get even more flustered.

"You think so?" I ask quietly. "Yeah I do," We stare at each other for a bit.

Then I remember my flower. Welp heres goes nothing.

"Hey Dal?" "Yeah?"

"I got you something... I hope you like it."

I pull out the flower from behind my back.

"This is for you.." and hand it to him shyly.

(I know you guys already know what it looks like but eh)

I look at his face trying to find put if he likes it.

"I know its just a flo-" but I get cut off by Dallon "Just a flower? Its so pretty Brendon!"

"Well I'm glad you liked it" I smile at him, he thinks its pretty!! I guess Gee was right.

"Hey Bren?"

"Yeah?"

"Can I do something?"

"Sure?"

Before I could ask him what he was going to do, he holds the back of my neck and..

He kisses me

I was so shocked I almost forgot to kiss back, I hold his soft cheek and place my hand on his shoulder, then he puts his other hand on my waist.

Oh dang he's such a good kisser.

He moves his hand up to my hair, I hum as he runs it through my hair.

After awhile of kissing we pull away, both of us smiling like idiots as our foreheads touch.

I feel a bit more confident and.. I wanna ask him a question I've been wanting to ask for a long time now.

"Can I ask you something Dal?"

"Sure Bren,"

"Will you be my Valentine's?"

"Yes"
