🍌🎖WEREWOLF RESULTS🎖🍌

Werewolves are one of my favorite creatures to read about here on Wattpad. I find them fascinating and the mate-bonding rituals are always something I find very intriguing, so when a writer takes that part and turns it into something extraordinary, it gets me overly excited. Now this category, even though it has talented writers, I found most of the stories cliche and similar, nothing is wrong with that, but after a while, I get tired of reading about damsels, weak omegas, and abusive alphas, I like a werewolf story that stands out and has lots of twists and turns. However, these stories were still excellent reads, just an advice to my werewolf writers, try and create stories that plots stand out from the rest. And no book is completely original, but when the writer takes an overused storyline and turns it into something mind-blowing, that I can work with it. Now here are the results.

REVIEW: This story, I particularly liked the plot; very fast-paced and to the point. The writer did enough to get my adrenalin pumping. The first chapter, in my opinion, was cliche with the abused she-wolf and the overly aggressive and abusive Alpha, but nonetheless, it still caught my attention. The title wasn't impressive, there are a few books with the same name. The blurb needs rewriting, it did nothing for the story. The dialects were good, but punctuation placement was off, the comma/full stop goes before the closed quotation. The descriptions and literary devices were nice, but they could have been better. As for world-building, the writer needs to work on the visuals. Try and describe the atmosphere/scenery so the readers can see the plotline come alive. But still, this was a decent read.

REVIEW: This story did what its suppose to, I couldn't stop laughing. I could tell that this writer wrote this book for fun. And some of the best stories out there are the ones that were written just for laughs. I loved that the characters were sarcastic and funny. But even though they were very vibrant and colorful, they still needed a little bit of depth to their personalities. As for the plot itself, I have to be honest, it didn't impress me that much. A bit cliche. I needed a little more body and dynamics, but don't get me wrong, it was still a good read, I just felt the writer had more to give. Again the blurb did nothing for this story. This book was a light-hearted read, a good book to pass the time. I would recommend this to a friend who is having a bad day.

REVIEW: Firstly, the blurb was great, it just needed some tweaking to be perfect, but it definitely sold your story. This story was the most romantic in the bunch and it got extra points since it's a BoyxBoy love story, because we need to see more love stories like this one. Anyway, the plotline was a little cliche, we have the rejected, abused wolf being saved by an Alpha, but the twist was what gained my interest. I loved that the two wolves fell in love without thinking they were each other's mates. I must commend the writer on their well-developed vocabulary and the usage of literary devices was the best in this category. As for the title, again, it sounded like any other werewolf book. But overall, the writer did an excellent job.

REVIEW: This book hooked me, from the title to the blurb to the first chapter. The opening chapter was written with so many emotions that got my heart a little heavy. But I must admit that again, the whole abused werewolf getting saved by an Alpha bit is getting old, that's just my opinion, I didn't mark any story down for that. This story gave me Cinderella vibes, but with werewolves. The plot was kinda predictable, I knew that the Alpha King was going to be Anvi's mate. However, the story redeemed itself when Luna Hailey told Anvi that Alpha Banastre wasn't her mate and she mentioned something about a deal. That part sent me to the edge of my seat. This story was one of the two books that had me in a trance while I was reading. I almost forgot I was judging because of how much I was into the story. I will be finishing this book, it's been a long time since I found a werewolf book I love so much. Good job.

REVIEW: First of all, what's with the werewolf stories with these words as a part of the title; Mate, Werewolf, Luna, Alpha, King, and Queen? Please be more unique with naming your supernatural books. Moving on, this opening chapter was the best in the category. It had everything; bickering teenage girls, a storm, a red fur werewolf attacking a driving vehicle causing a car accident. The way the writer builds up the momentum for the last paragraph where the werewolf tore open one of the girl's neck, had my body trembling. I wasn't expecting such an action-filled book because of the title. I thought I was getting werewolves fucking everyone and everything in their paths, but that wasn't the case. The plot is filled with so many twists and turns and I like a book that has me questioning what is going to happen next and with every page I read, I wanted more. My only problems were the literary devices and descriptions, they were fair, but I know the writer is capable of doing a much better job in those departments. But honestly, this was an impressive read, it's one of the two books in this category that had me lost in the pages. Well done!
