Grog Cantor's "Diagonal Argument"
If you don't understand the meaning of this picture, let me explain. Each decimal (or real number between 0 and 1) stands for a certain whole #. So the 0.232458762 ... is for one. What you do is you make a diagonal line with the numbers. So you'd use the 2nd number in the first row, then the 3rd number in the 2nd row and so on and so fourth. Then, with each number you have boxed in, you add 1 to each number unless it is 9. Then you subtract 1. Then you'd get your answer as an infinity number, but
since we have defined it from the other numbers, it is clearly not in the list. So, we have pretty much used up all of the whole numbers. ALL INFINITY! The fun thing is we can still come up with more numbers. CRAZY!!!!!!
