Duke.....

Meliodas has been irritated at the fact he was pinned by a human such as Duke. It makes him frustrated and ashamed at himself.

Mel and Ban took a day of their child making, so he could take a breather and think of something else besides the thoughts "Ban" or "daddy" and other stuff...

It's just that damned Duke. He's been  eying all over Mel's body for the past few days even after Ban warned him. It hurts him for Ban to ever threaten his brother, but what has to be done is over with. Duke has one last chance to keep his distance from Mel, and Ban made it loud and clear from his anger, from two night ago.

Mel sighs as he sat alone on the bar stools drinking ale, he is getting his full of alcoholic beverages because he knows full well he won't be drinking like this when he's pregnant. As he drank his ale, he felt the eyes of Duke on him, ingesting him, and he shivers as he shakes the feeling off. This time he won't get away with it. He will never repeat his mistake if he knows what's good...

Meliodas finishes his quaff and slips off the bar stool landing on the wooden flooring, with a light thump and clack of his boots.

He walks up stairs and enters his room to see Ban staring out the window blankly.

"Staring off into your fantasy land?" Meliodas teased as he sat next to him leaning his head on Ban's shoulder.
Ban chuckles at Mel's comment and looks down at his side to see the one he loves. The cute chubby cheeks with a little dash of pink flush that stands out as his frame is relaxed.

Mel looks up at Ban showing his anxious eyes, it caught his attention and out of protectiveness he asked directly. "What's wrong?"

Meliodas took in a breath about to say words, but they couldn't come out. His mouth was left open, then closed up after he couldn't say anything of sorts to tell him or lighten the mood. It's like an anvil crushed his chest tightening his hearts, and making it hard to breath.

Ban shifted first to attempt and lighten the room of Mel's intense aura. His hands creeping to Mel's sides just below his armpits. Mel at first had no idea what he was pulling till he wiggled his fingers and Mel slammed his arms to his sides locking Ban's hands with him.

"I'm sensitive there!" Meliodas held in a laugh.

"Not sensitive, ticklish~" Ban wiggled as his fingers wiggled again.

Meliodas hunched up as he held in his laughing, only choking on his giggles and chuckles. Attempting to move Ban's hands, which failed as his hands felt weak due to his attempt at resisting to laughing.

He lost it. His laughs bursted out and his body moves around to avoid Ban's tickling. Ban keeps close to Mel as he continues to tickle Mel, and they find themselves on each other. Ban finds himself between the legs of Mel, and his hands stop his tickling to have them both on either side of Mel's head.

A fresh smile shows on Mel's face brightly, judging at how adorable his smile is when it's a real one. The fake smiles would make Ban feel like he's not trying hard enough to make Meliodas happy.

Little giggles then quiet are left in the room. Mel pulls the nape of Ban's neck to press his lips against his soft ones, for a small kiss, nothing but care and heartfelt love.

"Ban, thank you." He brings Ban closer on top of him into a tight hug. He felt comfort to his warm body, encased by Ban's, so soothing, is how Mel would describe his feeling.

Mel hums to himself. Like a little lullaby so quietly and softly. It soothed Ban making him rest on him, relaxed as Mel messages his hand through his scalp and plays with the thick blueish, grey hair. And the other hand rest on Ban's back. He could sense his heart- beat in a slow rhythm pounding loudly for each pulse.

(The lullaby Mel was humming for himself and Ban, I just thought this would be amazing since it's about love❤️)

He calms his breathing, taking in deep inhales of the scent of Ban. And he closes his eyes silently.

His hearts were then in synch with Ban's, his tired side seeped in, as he felt peaceful after going through the stress of Duke.....

Meliodas POV

You're such a kind hearted human, Ban... You're not like any human I've met before. Your not the kind that only cares for themselves and despises others because of their differences..... You showed me that, showed me that even though I'm a demon, you still love me for what I am. You're a different human who has experienced the life of rejection because of your difference, or some other individuals would call it... Quality and value.

I value you Ban.... I love you Ban......

And someday...

I will even retain your child inside my body that you've chosen to make love with, Ban...

..... Ban....

We'll have a family together....

I know this chapter is short and has such corny lines and stuff and may even be cringe worthy too, but whatevs you chose to read this one shot. Not me.
