Ever since Duke assaulted Meliodas, Ban has never had his guard up so strictly now a days. His eyes would never leave Mel's location so he can make sure he's safe, it's good and all to have him protective but it would cause Mel to feel..... Uncomfortable at times.

He's not trying to be mean or reject Ban's protection, it's just he has never had two humans let alone even one human fight for him. Though there is a difference between the two, one is Ban. He cares for Mel's well being and he truly loves the demon for what he is no matter what. He's a real man caring and concerning for his loved one everyday.

Then there's Duke, only caring for the competition of winning to be between Mel's legs and making him moan and cry out him name before him. A greedy man who wants nothing but rewards for his actions and if he doesn't get one, he takes it away by force. All for the pleasure.

He lost the round of Meliodas finding a partner to mate with during the half month, losing his chance to make Mel miserable with a child he never wanted with.

Ban's threat of killing him if he lays a hand of his so called "lover" ticked him off. He didn't take it seriously as he kept staring at Meliodas when he's alone and vulnerable waiting for a moment, but was always interrupted by one of the sins or Ban barging in to watch Meliodas closely.

Then there's Merlin who was on the same page as him, hating Ban for taking the hand of a demon as his lover. But knowing her, she hates them both, a demon, and a human loving a creature, a demon of all things. He can see the twisted disgust
In her appealing face and her pursing lips as she snatches glimpses of the two together.

Meliodas has noticed this but intends to ignore it as much as he possibly could. At least Diane respects them together, and Ban appreciates her support.

The other sins didn't really get involved with relationship problems. Ban says it himself when Merlin gets too bitchy about the two and so he goes on defense, for the love of Meliodas. He'd much rather do offense, but for the sake of his demon who's given up on death and bloodlust, he won't kill Merlin. But Duke on the hand is different, Meliodas isn't comfortable around him, Ban despises him, shit maybe even disowns him as his brother.

Intentionally Knowing that Duke hasn't got the message of Ban's threat, he needed to think of a way to show every human in this kingdom that Meliodas is his.

At that moment Ban was sitting on the edge of his bed, shifting to see Mel's face and his body that's bare, covered in a thin layer of sheets. And an idea popped in the back of his head, making him smile gleefully.

He swiftly got dressed without trying to wake his sleeping beauty, then silently walks out of the room closing the door after he was outside of it.

Diane, I think she'll help me out with this. Ban thinks to himself.

He steps down stairs and thinks it's his lucky day that he won't need to spend hours finding Diane, cause there she was drinking some ale. She noticed Ban coming down stairs then smiled at him and a smirk comes across her face.

"Hope you're not too rough on the captain, Ban...." She says slyly, yet showing a hint of red on her nose spreading to her cheeks.

"Hey Diane." Ban starts, grabbing the attention of her dark lavender colored eyes. "I need your help with something out in the market, I'll explain along the way."

Diane at first got confused, but goes along with it following behind Ban. Leaving her ale behind and king runs along with them cause of her.

People, tall, short, young, old, middle aged fill of what little space of the alley could hold, cramping people around the different mini shops. Some holding valuable jewelry, some hold expensive ale that had a spicy scent yet sweet taste to the tongue. And the fresh smell of fruits and vegetables picked just today. Cooked meat and smoked meat sizzling in the air got all the attention from the soldiers of the kingdom, the smell got their mouths drooling. All of the market items were eye catching, but Ban was here for only one thing and a precious gift for his beloved demon, Meliodas.

"So why are we going out in the market?" Diane questions and she looks around to find a pork shop. Selling all kinds of different variations of cooked pork. Making her stomach growl like thunder and her mouth drooling at the addicting scent of freshly cooked meat to her nose.

"Hey um, can we take a quick stop to eat?" Diane basically whined her hunger out, taking no as not an option. Turning to her right treading towards the retail, putting her hands together like she's praying for a bite of the juicy deliciousness.

Ban rolls his eyes coming over to Diane and because he's in a good mood he bought her the samples of the different contrast of pork. Making her squeal like Hawk would when he excited for some dumb crap.

They stroll through the crowd while Diane stuffed her face and king just watched her eat. Ban paid least attention to the two as he might have found what he was looking for.

A shop full of all types of people who want to be with their loved ones forever.

"Yes..." Ban cheered to himself, grabbing Diane's arm and pulling her through the small crowd of humans. Luckly she was in her human sized form easily squeezing through the people.

He stopped when he made it to a clear glass encased counter, showing precious jewelry from the thick glass. From clear small fragments of diamond to vibrant emeralds and rubys.

An employee shows up in front of him as Ban was distracted with some of the emeralds reminding him of the eyes of Meliodas.

"May I help you with anything, sir?" A light female voice asked as he shifts his eyes to look at her.

"Uh, yeah, do you have any rings, by any chance?"

"Yes we do, right over here, sir." She pointed and walked casually to a specific part of the shop. And there they were. Shiny rings, from pure gold to diamond glistening from the glare of the sun.

Ban smiles to himself, eager to get his hands on the precious jewels.

"Who's the lucky one?" The employee asked.

Ban looks up to see the grey eyes of the lady and the loose black hair sliding over her shoulders.

"My precious lover." Ban answers honestly.

"They must be really eye catching for you to shop over here." She chuckles as she got out a unique ring with a vine like look. Tiny diamonds lead up to the superior larger one in the middle.

"Yes, he's beautiful and I love him very much so."

"Ooo, so it's a he... What's his name if I may ask." The mention of the gender of Ban's lover caught her ears and she would like to know more about his precious one.

"Oh, sorry, my name's Akane, might not know but I'm the business owner of the place." She smiles blissfully, shaking Ban's hand in respect of his customer service.

"His name's Meliodas, call him Mel for short. If he were here and I said that in front of him, he'd be dying of embarrassment right now, though he won't show it in public." He laughs as he explained his relationship with Mel.

"Meliodas...." Akane starts. "He sounds familiar, I just can't get it from the tip of my tongue. Well anyway, here's an option of one our best current rings. Originally made just yesterday and now only one in stock." She smiles as she saw Ban look closely at the ring.

Diane came into the picture now figuring out what Ban is trying to do, and it excites her. Making her secretly fangirl under her breath, screaming to herself. But she won't lie, the ring looked beautiful to her taste and she sensed Ban having a liking to this ring.

"This is an 18 karat white gold petite twisted vine, diamond ring." She held the ring gently in her fingers handing it to Ban. Even though it looks like a common silver, it's really unique in a way with is vines twisted like a snake, and diamonds crawling and leading up to the bigger jewel.

That's when he heard nasty people and their disgusting mouths daring to speak about his demon in vile ways.
Speaking their minds out loud for Diane, king and Ban to hear loud and clear.

"I heard that the captain of the seven deadly sins is being fucked by one of the sins themselves."

A simper in the crowd was faint but Akane was able to notice who it was,  and so knowing that this Kingdom doesn't really accept males loving males. Known as being gay, they were known as outsiders of the world like abnormals. Very little people accepted them as normal individuals.

What a coincidence that the person would be one of her costumers, she rolls her eyes at how disrespectful they are.

And they comment again walking up to Ban, knowing full well he's one of the sins. Diane stands back a little confused on to why people treat others like this. She would always ask herself why they would do this.

"Hey, I'm talking to you, yeah I know you're in the seven deadly sins. Now tell me, are the rumors true about Meliodas?" his tone had a bite into it as he forced Ban to face him. He has some nerve asking him such private questions about his captain.

Before Ban could even answer with vile verbal words like he was planning to do, Akane stepped in and says "I'm sorry sir, do we have a problem?" she starts, and she waits for the man's response.

"Yeah, I'm wondering about Meliodas and the rumors and if they are true. So why not ask one of the seven deadly sins personally."

"I'm sorry,  but are you asking private information from one of my costumers who did no such wrong thing to your being?" she crossed her arms, clearly starting to get annoyed with the visitor in her shop.

"This is bullshit! Where's your manager?! I hate your attitude!" the man defends himself.

"Why you're staring at the owner of this shop, and as for your disrespect and harassment to my service and my costumers, I have the right to charge you triple the price of what you've ordered, no refunds." her voice was calm and cold as she silenced the man and making his storm off out of the shop pushing aside the quiet crowd.

"I deeply apologize for his reckless behavior! Is there anything I can repay you for the damage done?"
Akane mumbles apologies under her breath and Ban says that it's completely okay and that she doesn't need to repay him. But she Insisted on her payment and explains what she'll do.

"Here, for your patience and kindness and my apology for my horibble guest, I'll give you a pair of the 18 karat white gold for half the price."

She again apologized to Ban, Diane and king for the behavior of her costumers around them. At first Ban didn't think he should let her go without paying her back. As a token to his thanks he says "I'll make sure to Invite you to my wedding." he smiled in bliss and he heard her scream with happiness. Repeating the words "thank you" over and over again. Shaking Ban's hand with both of her petite hands, feeling her heart pound against her chest.

"Thank you again, um..."

"Ban."

"Ban! Thank you so much, I can even make dresses or suites for the special occasion. So if you need someone for designs of clothes, jewelry I'm the one to get first thing before the other designers." again she thanked Ban for his service, giving him the small box of the pair of rings.

She warned Ban of how there's rumors going around in the market, so he should watch his back and watch what he says.

He thanked her for advice on how to deal with the people and easily get them off your tail. And left the market with Diane begging Ban for her go look at the diamond pair of rings from the small black box, with gold outlining.

Ban thought to himself as he looked at the pair of rings shining with the sun.

"Wait for me Meliodas, my beloved, my demon, my lover. I loved you so much to this day, and I hope I'll ask the one question that I've been dying to ask you for the past months of being with you, and when I confess my true self of how I feel being with you.... I only hope that you'll feel same when you're with me."

Phew,  IDK if there's any mistakes,  but I tried making this while I'm sick and home from school. Yep, well I was sick and now I have to go go school tomorrow... Boo..
