I always forget that I'm supposed to be updating the statuses of my stories here, so here I am, doing that.

In case you haven't seen my announcement from a few days ago, Fireheart will be on hold for a bit. Those of you who are caught up know that Ares is in a very difficult place right now, and I'm just not feeling mentally well enough to sink into his headspace and write his story. I typically get so immersed in my OC's minds when I write their stories that it almost feels like I'm being possessed and letting them take over. I'm not quite ready to let Ares take the wheel.

I want my updates to be of good quality, and that's not going to happen if I try to force an update. It'll probably end up making me feel even worse in the long run.
