12. what is the status of [this story]?

Some people have been getting confused by the symbols/words in my story titles, so I've decided to break it down here.

✓ — This check mark means that a story is completed. I have put these here for both actual fanfiction books and miscellaneous ones as well, such as my Maze Runner Tips book. I know it says "completed" in the description now thanks to Wattpad, but this makes it easier to see which books are finished if you're glancing at the titles.

¹ — If a book has a number in exponent form next to the title, that means it's part of a series. HOWEVER, the "Interstellar" and "Ivy League" books are only loosely connected, so the numbers in their titles don't translate across those books. Fallon's stories have their own numbers that mark books 1 & 2, but it has nothing to do with Fireheart's lack of a number. Same with the Different trilogy and then Aegis. Basically the numbers are there to tell you what order to read the books in.

[O.H.] — This rarely happens, but if a book has been put on hold, I'll add this to the title and usually write "ON HOLD" in the description as well. This just means that I'm planning on updating, but the story has been put on the back-burner and I'm focusing on other stories. It frees up space in my mind so I can give my attention to my books that I can update faster.

[Discontinued] — Self-explanatory. The book has been discontinued. This is only done after a significant amount of thinking and there is little to no chance that the story will be picked up again for updates. In Rupture's case (my only book that is discontinued), I am writing an epilogue to tie everything together and because I feel guilty for leaving Fallon's storyline unfinished, but I'm not publishing chapter updates.

I believe that is every symbol/phrase I use in my titles, so I hope this clarified everything.
