Where am I?

I stood up to look where I was at.I only know a few things:
1.My name and country I'm from.
2.History.
3.Thats about it.

It was cold,very different from where I was from.Yes,My brother Cuba's place is really warm and very nice.I got into an argument with him and ran away......I guess that's why I'm here.

I started to walk around see if anyone was around.Just snow and ice.There were trees,but all pine.

Ouch!

Stepped on a pine cone.Did I not come here with shoes?I mean,back at home I didn't really wear them anyway.

I'm just going to let this freezing snow put me to sleep......

I flopped on the snow and let my hear melt some of it before drifting off into a fit of shivers,and sleep.

Russia's POV

Hmm today seems like a good day for a walk in the woods.

"Ok my Baltics.Ill be back.Make tea!"

I left the house and the Baltics nodded.

The snow was crisp,and the birds were chirping.Yes,another beautiful day in Russia,Da?As I was walking through the forest,I saw a bump.It was covered by snow,but it looked odd.

I walked toward it and poked it for fun.

The bump started moving,then I saw hair.

"Are you a person?"

"Ughh....."

"You know it's cold out here da?"

"What?Where am I?"

"You are in Russia."

"Are you Russia?"

"Da.You are?....."

"I'm come from Cuba's...."

"You must be a new country then!I have great pleasure smile!Come with me."

"What but I don't...."

"It was joke!You come with me because I found you."

I carried her toward my house and Latvia opened the door.

"Oh my goodness!Mr.Russia why are you carrying a girl?"

"She is a new country."

"Oh where did you find her?"

"Not to far away.In the forest."

I walked in the house and put her on the couch as the Baltics attended to our guest.She started to wake up move again.

Your POV

Where did he take me?I was staring at three different people,faces I've never seen.One was blond,short and had these violet eyes.He was shaking and putting a blanket over me.

The other one was also blond,he wore glasses and had blue eyes.He was serving me tea.

The last one had brown hair,and blue eyes.He was bringing over snacks.

Russia was there too,just sitting across from me,smiling and drinking tea.That smile.....it made me shudder.

"Oh so your up.Good!"

I sat up and the others looked relived.

"So introduce yourselves!"

The nodded,all of them shaking uncontrollably.The short blond one stepped forward.

"My name is Latvia.Don't mind Mr.Russia,he isn't scary or anything."

I watched as a purple aurora started to engulf Russia.Was he ok?

"My name is Estonia."Said the one with glasses.

Slowly sparkles were forming around him as winked at me.Weird.

"My name is Lithuania."Well the brown haired one seemed normal compared to the other two.

"So,what country are you?"Russia asked kind of puzzled himself.

"Huh?"

"What's your history like?"

"Oh well I come from Cuba's house.I didn't like the way he bossed us around so I left.I ended up here.So yeah."

"Oh your that new country here!"

Russia pulled out a map and showed me the country named (C/N),that was below Finland but above Estonia.

I stood up and looked at the map.Wait!That argument....made me independent from my brother?

So I'm a new country.

Ok then.(C/N)......It had a nice ring to it.But someone who is generally accustomed to warm weather,living up here might get some getting used to.

I left their house and found my country.Its a small country and kind of not modern at all.There are small villages and one big town,that is inching its way toward the modern stuff at Russia's place.

Our military is strong though,and would do anything to protect me,being the country itself.

Several months later

Woo!Its 2016!My country has prospered for more than 50 years now,but my human age has changed by like 1 year so I'm 19 now.They said country birthdays is different from normal ones,where you can age multiple times a year.Mines was just one this time.

One day my life was forever changed.I was in a town,checking on the locals when I heard screaming.

"The Russian army is here!Help!Help!"

"What the Russian army?Everyone get to the checkpoint by the water!"

Thousands of people flocked toward the checkpoint,men,women,children,
livestock and pets.

The military marched with me in front,leading them toward the Russian army.I stopped,seeing a face I hadn't seen for a while.

It was Russia himself.The one who saved me.

"Oh hey (C/N).Become one with mother Russia?"

"No.We will fight and keep you out our land!Right?!?"

"Yeah!!!"

The roar was heard throughout my country.

Russia chuckled at this.

"Very well then.Ha...you make me remember my time getting all of this land.......ha...."

"What's funny?"

"No just memories.Ok атака!Заставить меня гордиться!"
(Ok attack!Make me proud!)

What did he say?No matter!

"Ok Defend this country with all you got!"

The battle between Russia and us lasted for months before they defeated me,the main point for a war.

"Yay!I won!Now..."

He knelt down and looked at me with a smile.

"Just don't hurt my people is all I ask of you......"

"I wouldn't do that!Your coming with me.To my place!"

"What?"

"You are a Baltic so you would make a good addition to my friends."

"Estonia,Latvia and Lithuania right?"

"Da.Now come on I won so I force you."

He dragged me over in my full military gear to his house.Hooray.

I got there beaten up and bruised but alive.

He put me in a room with the other Baltics and there were four beds that I could see,before he dropped me to the ground and shut the door.

"(C/N)!Are you ok?"Said Latvia,running over to me.

"Yeah I'm good.Just some bruises."

"Thank goodness.Mr.Russia can be ruthless sometimes."

"Welcome to the club,now that your here."Said Estonia,waving awkwardly.

"Ok I need to know you guys if I'm forced to stay here with you.How about age?"

"Well,We aged a little since last time you were here."Said Estonia,sparkles around him.

"Well I went from 17 to 19."

"I stayed the same.Im still 19,didn't age.Maybe it's the lack of progress in my country....."

"I'm 18 now but still......short.....Its probably Mr.Russia's hand....always squishing me.Yeah I grew three years though."

"Ok well I'm 19.Also why are you guys so scared of him?I mean I am,but we have our own reasons."

"Well I told you it's his hand.He always squishing my head and it's not cool!"

"Me.Russia beat me up with his 'Magic metal pipe of pain' It hurts a lot trust me."

"He took me away from Poland...I see him every once in a while but not as much as we used to hang out."

"If you heard,I was at war with him for about 50 years,and he finally struck me down."

"Yeah we heard...."They all said in unison,lowering their heads.

"We had to make all of the weapons and bullets for him."Said Estonia slowly putting his hand on my shoulder.

"Oh well that's fine.Is there somewhere I can take a bath?"

Baths are a custom in my country,and we must have one twice a day.Why twice?One to be clean the other to get off curry stains....its a classic dish for my country.

"Yeah it's the room in front of ours.Its a large bathroom,with a huge bath and a shower area.We usually all go in there but....."Said Lithuania his words getting fainter as he spoke more.

"But?"

"Well your a girl....and that wouldn't...."

"It's fine.In my country,we bathe together."

"W-what?"Said Latvia and Lithuania together,in total shock.

Estonia was just shaking,so surprised he didn't say anything.Whats the big deal though?It saves water so there is no problem.

Is key,so you bathe together and find nothing wrong with it.Almost like Finland and saunas.)

"It's saving the water so it's fine.Right?"

"Umm I don't know...."Said Lithuania hesitantly. 

"Of course it saves water!If we bathe separately then we have to use it twice or more!So together is better.Lets go!"

"Umm...."

"Where are your towels?"

"Over there."Said Latvia point in at a closet."

"Thank you!"I grabbed four and threw three at them.

"Ok let's go before anyone gets in there!"

Here we go!Already a difference in cultures.Well let's see how this all plays out!
