The studio had almost looked like a castle, just like the place she was staying at. Scarlet found herself at awe at the beautiful things around her, she truly had never seen silver encrusted pointe shoes until now. She remembered growing up and hearing how Mrs. Kim danced with those same shoes on. How everyone watched Mrs. Kim's dance, even if they weren't interested in ballet. When she finally got to watch it for herself, she was amazed. There she danced, in a winter wonderland decorated stage, it wasn't even time for the holidays. However, she deliberately asked for the decorations, because in nine months she would give birth to a child in the wintertime. That is what made the dance special, and she looked like a beautiful mother dove on the stage.

"You're not the first person who has stared at the shoes" a familiar voice calls from behind Scarlet. She surprisingly wasn't startled from the voice, as she viewed the voice as comfortable at this time where her nerves were at on the edge. She turns to look at Taehyung and smiles at him, which he reciprocates.

"They're very beautiful, and hold lots of significant meaning to them" Scarlet tells him softly. Taehyung nods his head at her remark, and directs his attention to the pointe shoes. "They mean everything to me, I might not be a dancer myself, yet the dance my mother did was truly beautiful and it was all because of me" Taehyung told the girl. She smiled at him and nodded. "Definition of motherly love, it is truly a beautiful dance, I'd love to see your mother dance it again" Scarlet told him.

Taehyung chuckled at this remark and crossed his arms together. "My mother wouldn't do it, however she might have one of the students perform it, she has to scout the best of the best" Taehyung commented and Scarlet only shrugged. "Makes sense, I should get to class now" Scarlet said, and Taehyung smiled. "Of course" He said, motioning her to get to class, which made her giggle.

Scarlet stepped in the large studio room, full of space, and the air felt amazing. Everything was white yet had traces of pale blue and pale pink. Scarlet made sure to dress appropriately. She wore a black leotard with a white cross over, white stockings, and a simple black see through skirt. Nari and Clara noticed their friend immediately and ran to her.

"Isn't this exciting? Oh I had only seen this on television. This is the same studio room that Ms. Kim practiced her Winter dance!" Nari told her. "I know, did you see the silver shoes?" Scarlet asked them, which they responded with nodding their heads excitedly.

Suddenly, all the dancers started to hurry to the floor and stretch. The three friends started doing the same, trying not to mess up any order around the studio. Nari noticed Jungkook and smiled at him. To which he responded with a smile back, yet Clara watched and cascaded her eyes to the floor. 

The door opened to reveal the Kim family, which made everyone go silent. The three friends were trying to hard to stop fangirling, they were the most famous ballet entertainment family in Korea. Taehyung caught Scarlet's eyes and smiled at her. She felt her heart flutter just at his smile, but nevertheless she smiled back but ignored the rest. Nari and Clara smiled at her, not knowing she had acquainted herself with the son.

"Welcome to another day of class, I'm sure you have noticed three new guests joining our family today. Girls please, step forward" Mr. Kim said. Everyone started to stare at the three girls, who nervously made their way up front.

"These three individuals have shown great skill and technique through their art named dance. Us and committee have chosen them for a reason, to extend their knowledge, feel free to help them, befriend them, please!" Mrs. Kim tells the rest of the dancers, who nodded in response.

"Introduce yourself, from left to right" Mrs. Kim adds, tapping Clara's shoulder.

"H-Hi, my name is Clara Reid, I am eighteen years old. My specialities are ballet but you already know what, yet I really enjoy tap aswell, hopefully I'd meet some of you and we could really bond" Clara tells her peers, and they smile at her. "Tap? Well that's wonderful, we'd have to put you in tap aswell" Mr. Kim explains, making Clara smile.

"Hello I'm Han Nari, nice to meet you. Ballet is a great passion of mine and I'm glad to be dancing here today among the professionals" Nari tells everyone, then she nudges Scarlet.

Scarlet looks up at everyone nervously but then looks at Taehyung, he simply nodded his head, encouraging her. "Hello, I'm Scarlet Lilichoi, It is an honor to be here truly, I love ballet and I hope to dance until my final days, and I'll be proud to say I trained here with the wonderful people and benefactors I've met and received" She says and smiles.

"How thoughtful and wonderful" Mrs. Kim exclaimed, putting her hands on Scarlet's shoulders. "It's wonderful to have you girls here! Now let's not hold up too much time. Everyone get to work!" Mr. Kim exclaims. Taehyung mouths good luck to Scarlet and she giggles. Once the Kim family had left, everyone got to work.

Scarlet was tired out, it was already stressful. She had felt bad when Nari had been yelled by the teacher by having a turned out foot. "I thought you were supposed to be talented" The teacher croaks out, hitting Nari on the back on her head with a pointe shoe. Nari's face was in pain, she looked as if she wanted to cry. When the teacher got to Clara, she had asked Clara to do the same move Nari failed to do. However, rather than a turned out foot, Clara had forgot to point her toes on the last arabesque. Consequently, she was also hit with the shoe, on hip this time, she bended over in pain, which the teacher only called her weak in returned.

Then the teacher made her way to Scarlet, which only made her fear this new lady more. "Don't disappoint me new girl, you do it" She told Scarlet. "Yes ma'am" Scarlet responded and moved to the middle of the dance floor and took a deep breath. She did three pirouettes and made sure to spot, landed in fourth position, then swung her back leg into the first arabesque, and turned around to do the second. The teacher went up to her and Scarlet was silently waiting to be scolded, but was only responded in a pat on the shoulder. "Good job Miss Lilichoi, it seems like your colleagues could learn from you" She stated. Scarlet looked at both Nari and Clara with sympathy but they smiled at her.

Three painful hours of class went by and the crew was completely beat. Class was finally dismissed and the girls let the room. "She's insane" Clara noted. "We only have her for Monday, Wednesday, Friday" Scarlet pointed out. "Too much" Nari told her. "Tuesday and Thursday is pointe, my little feet are going to go through it" Scarlet said, making the crew laugh.

"Nari!" A voice called out for her, it was Jungkook. "You wanna come over my place tonight? We can play overwatch!" He said to her excitedly. "Yeah sure! I'll catch you guys later!" Nari said, leaving with Jungkook. "Look at her already making friends" Scarlet cooed at the pair. Clara scoffed and looked down at her feet, "Yeah friends" She sadly said.

"Is everything alright?" Scarlet asked her friend. "Just tired and sore, I think i'm gonna head back to my room" Clara told her friend, leaving. Scarlet sighed and glanced back at the silver pointe shoes. She wondered what they would felt like being worn, danced in, anything.

"Admiring my mother's shoes again" Taehyung asks her. "I can't help myself" She confessed. "Speaking of admiration, I admired how you danced today for your first class, you have a true talent" He told her. She smiled and thanked him quickly. "Is she always that rude?" Scarlet questioned. "Miss Rin? She's always been like that, she's a bitter woman" Taehyung laughs.

"I should head back, it is getting late" Scarlet tells Taehyung. "Nonsense, we have the studio to ourselves, I always close anyways, cmon lets go in the studio" Taehyung tells Scarlet, pulling her into the studio room. It was empty unlike earlier today, she twirled around, feet sickled and carefree. Taehyung starts to dance with her, to no music, simply teens enjoying themselves.

Then it leads to Scarlet leaching Taehyung some ballet tricks, and he miserably failed, yet still cute how he tried. Then it lead to Taehyung watching Scarlet show her new moves she learned in class today, and hell was Taehyung an amazing hype man, she swore her confidence went up. Once they were worn out and tired, they lied on the floor, staring at the ceiling in complete silence next to each other.

"When's your birthday Tae?" Scarlet breaks the silence, and Taehyung lightly blushed at the use of the nickname. "December 30th, you?" He told her. She lit up at his words and smiled, "Me too". "What year?" He asked.

"2001, at nighttime " she said proudly. "I'm 1995, in the morning time" He told her. "Okay 90s baby" She says making him giggle. "I should close now, let me walk to to your room" Taehyung says getting up. "It's only a few blocks away, I should be fine going alone Tae" Scarlet told him. "I insist, I have nothing else to do" He said, turning the lights off and locking the doors. "Okay"

They only walked a couple blocks, and their conversations were lighthearted and genuine. "This is my stop" Scarlet turns to look at Taehyung, who smiles at her. "Nice to meet you Miss Scarlet" He tells her. "And you Mr. Taehyung" She says, walking to her door. She turns around to see Taehyung walking back to the studio, maybe he's going to drive home. He looks back at the girl and waves, which she reciprocates. She quickly unlocks the door and gets inside. She breaths out from the amount of work she had put into today, yet the end of it all was so sweet, she's was glad of Taehyung's presence, it was so soothing.

a/n; ik its been a hot minute, but miss ronas little world tour has me quarantined therefore i no longer have writers block, therefore i update. well i have writers block for daisy chains, not really ballerina. i hope u still are reading. i promise scarlet and taehyung's relationship isn't too fast for you all, it's not this fast i promise, hopefully you aren't too weirded out by their age gap? ik shes 18 and he's 24. their age gap is really important in the story especially to tae's family but it's not an important role in their relationship; they don't make it sexual, just meaning they don't sexualize their age gap, they don't really pay any mind to their age, its a relationship built on a way different and surprising thing that is gonna be revealed and it's really cute yet tragic <3
