several days later

The days felt like everything was going so fast. Scarlet felt as if she finally fit in. She was more focused on dance than anything else. Taehyung still had a special place in her life, he would come visit her place after practice. The two would have tea and he would watch her dance, it was an everyday thing.

Clara found herself alone though. Nari had been spending alot of time with Jungkook. As Scarlet went with Taehyung, Nari went with Jungkook. Which left her alone, but she found solace in a certain boy.

It was Jung Hoseok, Clara thought him to be very nice. A bright ball of sunshine that seemed to light up every room, and he radiated happiness. He made Clara not feel so alone sometimes, she is grateful of their meeting.

flashback

Practice was over, and all Clara wanted to be with her friends. It seemed as if she couldn't get anything right. Scarlet and Nari were the amazing dancers, she always felt in their shadow. However, she never thought as it as negative until they joined the dance school. Where everyone was at a high level, and her teo friends blended right in.

Clara spotted Scarlet, smiling and walking up to Taehyung. The two shared hellos and started walking hand in hand, presumably back to Scarlet's dorm. Clara suspected it, she often wondered if anything happened between the two, she wouldn't be surprised. However it frightened her, Scarlet was very talented, and she worked hard to be where she is now. People would start suspecting the sudden favoritism the teachers and the Kim family have for her. They might dismiss her, but Scarlet was much more than Taehyung's rumored lover, she hoped people think that way.

Snapping out of her thoughts, Clara waited for Nari as always. Maybe this time she would actually come back with Clara and not stumble back to the dorms at four in the morning from being at Jungkook's.

Nari being at Jungkook's all night has negatively affected her. She's been more sleepy during practice, and the teachers have showed no mercy towards her. She almost missed practice a couple of times, she was only saved by Scarlet and Clara waking her.

Again, Nari and Jungkook's relationship was confusing to Clara. Nari claimed they were just friends, but it was too odd. What could they have possibly doing, for her to stay for long long at his dorm. It hurt Clara, she still really cared for Nari. She saw this coming though, she shouldn't be surprised either, this is what she deserves for holding her feelings in. Nari would never love her more than a friend.

Clara spotted Nari and Jungkook walking out of the studio together. They were leaving with another male, it was Park Jimin. He was a really talented dancer aswell. She also knew how close Jungkook and Jimin were. It seems as if Clara has to spent this night alone. Nari glanced at her friend and gave her a tight smile and waved goodbye. Clara sadly waved back, and sighed.

"Friends abandoning you?" A voice behind her says. Clara turned around to see him.
Ah yes. Golden boy, they called him.
Jung Hoseok
"None of your business" She says, gripping her dance bag. Hoseok smiles and walks up to her. "Ouch, but that doesn't excuse the fact that you're lonely" Hoseok tells her, and she frowns. "I'm not lonely!" He tells him, but he chuckles. "Whatever you say dear, just know I'll always be here for you" He told her.

"Hoseok, you barely-" She started to say, but he cut her off. "Know you? Who cares, everyone needs a friend" He pokes her cheek and smiles. He waved goodbye to her, and Clara was stunned.

She found herself smiling, something she hadn't genuinely done in a while. Hoseok was truly a ball of sushinse.

end of flashback

Taehyung rested his head on Scarlets chest as they looked up at the ceiling. The girl toyed with the strands of Taehyung's long curly hair.

"Your hair got long" She tells him. He picks up his head to look at the girl and smiles as he fluffed his own hair. "Do you like it?" He asks, she nods and sits up.

She stretched out her arms and breathed out. "I'm so sore, I'm glad it's the weekend." She tells him and she flops back onto the bed. Taehyung smiles and sits up. "Are you excited about the showcase Scar?" She asks.

She furrows her brows and looks at him straight in his eyes. "Of course I am excited, all this practicing, it better have been for something life changing" She laughs, and Taehyung joined in. "It's going to be on our birthday" He told her. "I know, are you excited to be twenty five" She asks. "You make me old" He tells her. "You are" She says, and he playfully smacks her arm. "Are you excited to be nineteen?" He asks her.

"Elated" She answers. "I do miss my family though" She reveals to him. This isn't the first time she told him she missed them. Taehyung felt bad for her, he couldn't imagine being separated from his family, and considering how young Scarlet was, it must have been really terrible for her. He leaned into her side and left a kiss on her neck. "Scarlet, maybe you should go and visit them" He whispers into her neck. "With what free time? The only free time I have is weekends, and I need to rest" She tells him.

"We have breaks coming up, just take them, leave Daegu and go back to Andong with your friends" He told her.

Her Friends.

She felt like shit not talking to them. They didn't even have a falling out, they just barely spoke to one another. Scarlet was always with Taehyung and Nari was always with Jungkook, Clara must feel so alone.

"My friends..." Scarlet trailed off. "You never speak to them Scar" Taehyung says. "I know.. is that bad? It wasn't intentional" He asked him, and he shrugged. "Naturally when in a new environment friendship fade, but I feel as if you shouldn't completely stop seeing them. Maybe see them instead of me sometimes" Taehyung told her and she smiled. "I like spending my time with you" She says.

Taehyung's heart skipped a beat when those words came out of her mouth. She always knew the right words to say for him to open up to her. He smiled and kissed her softly, she cupped his cheeks within the kiss and he grabbed her waist.

She pulled away and lied on his chest. "Ok, I've made up my mind, I'm gonna hang out with Nari and Clara this weekend, can you handle that?" Scarlet told him. Taehyung let out fake whimper and wiped a fake tear. "I'll have to be strong" He told her, and she laughed in his chest. Hours went by and the two ended up asleep, unaware of the things around them.

"I always knew those two had something" A girl says. "I know! That's probably why teacher favors her, I mean the boss' son is fucking her" A boy says. "How do you know they're together?" A girl asks. "Oh come on Naeun, they leave together everynight!" another girl says. "But Han Nari leaves with Jungkook and Jimin like everynight does that mean she's fucking them?" Naeun tells her friends. "Maybe, but we don't care about that, Taehyung and Scarlet are different, that relationship could be beneficial towards her" the boy says. "Yeah, we don't care about Nari's quick fucks, Scarlet has been put on this godlike pedestool ever since she joined, it's time for her to be humbled" the girl says. "Oh please Yeona, ever since Taehyung dropped you, you've salty ever since, let him be happy. You're a great dancer, you can do without being with boss' son to be successful, Scarlet didn't even know Taehyung when she got here and she's still amazing. Plus, we all know boss and his wife still like you, and are the favorite." Naeun says. "I will make sure i'm chosen for that dance, so Taehyung could see that I am the perfect girl for him" Yeona says. "The dance is yours Yeona, it surely wouldn't be given to Scarlet, she is new" the boy says. "Namjoon, she could easily take my spot just being with Taehyung, boss and his wife would want him to feel happy no? That dance means everything to him, I would do anything to dance it."

Naeun sighed at her friends delusion, Taehyung dropped her for a reason. Yet, Yeona is to stubborn to see that. She had hoped that Scarlet wasn't using Taehyung, but she doubted that. Even though she didn't know Scarlet very well, she felt it in herself to protect her.

She meant that.
