Why are my skies dark?
there's no dusk
no moon
no dawn

the seasons in my life dull
and dry

I'm parched,
starving
for your love
for everything that I lost

I've gone insane
reduced to nothing
trying to regain

Why aren't you next to me?
Haven't we whispered sweet nothings,
sworn to spend an eternity together?

I see
you've moved on and forgotten

I see the truth

Everything we were
never mattered to you

A fool I am

I still wish I could freeze time
return to the moment
when we're together

Love fervently
passionately
Fight against odds

AN: This poem was in drafts XD

I'm an amateur when it comes to poetry. Nonetheless I've always tried to write my thoughts down, follow my inspiration... Mostly these poems are based on my stories/characters. I see I've written sad poems mostly but I have a few happy ones which I may post soon.
