It was early in the morning, and just as the Loud's alarms were about to go off, Leonidas decides to start shouting louder than an air horn.

The normal Loud groans as they all wake up to the sound of Leonidas' shouting, which he continued to do as the Louds all got up, dressed, showered, and piled into the family van.

Having enough of Leonidas' constant insistence for Battles, Lola shouted out as loud as she could.

Lola: LINCOLN, SHUT THAT STUPID TOY PET THING UP!!!

Lola folded her arms after yelling, quickly noticing that Leonidas was floating over to her seat in the back row.

*THWACK!!!*

At Royal Woods School, Lincoln quickly rushed out of the van with Leonidas in his hands. Lola roared as she tried to charge at Lincoln. The Loud princess had a black eye.

Lola: I'M GONNA BREAK THAT FREAKING TOY!!! HE RUINED MY FACE!!!

Lincoln: Why did you punch Lola?!

Leonidas: I thought the gross was Lola. Either way, I fight Bakugan or bully humans. Take your pick.

Lincoln sighed as he bolted into the school. After eating School's Breakfast, Lincoln stopped by his locker to drop off his Bakugan.

Leonidas: Why are you leaving me in here?

Lincoln: You'll get taken up by the teachers if you start your crud in class, so just wait here and I'll come grab you.

Lincoln shut his locker before Leonidas could object and walked to class, and Leonidas sat in silence.

Leonidas: ... I'm gonna fight that kid later.

Leonidas was about to take a nap, but someone began messing with the locker door.

Leonidas: Who the...

???: I'm telling you Billy, Lincoln had a new Bakugan!

'Billy': Tommy. We've snatched up every Bakugan in town, there's not a single one left. How could Stink-coln get a new one when no more new ones show up?

'Tommy': I don't know, maybe we missed a spot near his house or something.

Suddenly the locker was opened by two boys often found following Chandler. Billy, a short boy shaved around the head with a black faux hawk, a thick black unibrow, and has braces on his teeth. He wears a red hoodie, blue jeans, and white shoes with green stripes. 

And Tommy, an overweight boy with dark blond standing hair. He wears a yellow t-shirt with a light cyan circle, a green short-sleeved shirt, brown shorts, and brown sandals.

Billy: See!? I told you he found a new one! Come on! Let's take this thing to Chand-

When Billy reached for Leonidas, the Dragonoid Bakugan bit down hard on his hand.

Billy: OW!! Stupid thing bit me!

Tommy then pushed Billy aside as he cracked his knuckles.

Tommy: I got this.

The overweight boy clapped his hands together trying to catch Leonidas, upon pulling his hands out of the locker and looking into his palms, he found no Bakugan in his grasp. Leonidas then floated down to 

Tommy: Billy?

Billy: Yeah?

Tommy: Do Bakugan normally fly?

Billy: None of Chandler's do...

Tommy: Oh...

In Lincoln's Class, they were doing some math work when Tommy and Billy came running by the door.

Tommy: IT'S BITING MY PUPIL!!! IT'S BITING MY PUPIL!!! IT'S BITING MY PUPIL!!!

Billy: QUIT RUNNING SO I CAN HELP YOU!!!

The was a moment of silence and confusion as the sounds of footsteps echoed down the hallway. Before the sounds of fleeing footsteps quickly returned a moment later, followed by a familiar laughter.

Billy: HOW DOES IT KNOW HOW TO USE A NAIL GUN?!?!?

Leonidas: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Lincoln immediately let out a groan as Miss Johnson looked outside to see what was wrong with those two. As he could hear Leonidas laughing like a psychopath.

Lincoln: (thinking) Leonidas...

At Lunch, Lincoln quickly stopped by his locker to find it was slightly ajar. The Loud Boy quickly opened his locker to find Leonidas eating a bag of chips.

Lincoln: What happened?

Leonidas: I got hungry and got a bag of chips from the vending machine.

Lincoln: I mean with those two goons.

Leonidas: They wanted to take me to some kid named Chandler.

Lincoln: Oh no...

Leonidas: Why oh no?

Lincoln: Because those two goons are probably gonna tell Chandler, and we're gonna end up in a Bakugan Battle.

Leonidas: YEAH!!! WHAT ELSE CAN I DO TO MAKE THIS CHANDLER GUY ANGRY!!!

Lincoln: I'M NOT TELLING YOU!!!

In a secret room of the school that was hidden behind several lockers, Billy and Tommy opened a locker to slip into the hidden passage. Tommy had an eye-patch covering his left eye. Inside the room there were several students lounging around, Chandler, who had a literal trophy sized cup of several dozens of Bakugan. The Bus Bullies, Taylor, Anderson, and Pablo. And the duo of Hank and Hawk, which was weird as they didn't go to this school.

Chandler: What are you two doing here? (to Tommy) Jesus, what happened to you?

Tommy: Loud found a Bakugan and it bit me on the eyeball.

Chandler raised an eyebrow.

Chandler: It bit you?

Chandler then grabbed a Bakugan from the cup next to him and threw it at Tommy, where it bounced off his belly and rolled on the ground.

Chandler: Last I checked, Bakugan only comes in one kind. The kind that wait silently until it's time to brawl.

Pablo: But there are rumors of Bakugan that are stronger than most that can talk and move on their own.

Chandler: Well, if that's the case, go challenge Larry to a brawl and get that Bakugan. I wanna see if this whole talking Bakugan thing is true.

Chandler tossed five more Bakugan to Tommy and Billy, Tommy had a full team of Ventus Bakugan and Billy used only Aquos Bakugan. The two bullies nodded as they took off, slipping out of the secret locker, only to stop when they saw someone standing at the entrance.

Tommy: Chandler... You gotta visitor... 

Then Masquerade proceeded to phase through the wall as if it wasn't there.

Masquerade: Hello. I've come with a proposition.

Lincoln was sneaking around at school as classes started to end. Having to hide from bullies while keeping Leonidas in a bag.

Leonidas: (muffled) LET ME OUT!!!

Lincoln: (whispering) No way! We are not battling until I can manage to find some more Bakugan! We're 2 short of a full team and I'm not taking chances!

Lincoln ran to the front door of the school where he saw his dad in the parking lot on the phone, most likely talking to his sisters. Lincoln also could see his dad saying something along the lines of, "If you miss the cut-off, I can't promise I'll still be here." 

Lincoln: Sweet, now I'm home-

Lincoln noticed Leonidas was oddly quiet, looking at the bag he was supposed to be in... Leonidas had chewed a hole through the bag and he was loose.

Leonidas: (echoing) HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Lincoln: DANG IT!!!

Lincoln chased after Leonidas, following his laughter to the back of the school, where there was a hole in the fence hidden from view by some bushes. Continuing down the path, Lincoln could already tell where he was going. Lincoln found a dry open drainage channel leading directly into a drainage system that was drier than a desert.

Leonidas was on the path to the school kid's hidden Brawling Ground called, The Hole. Where kids go to brawl Bakugan away from adults judgement, although, it mostly became a place for Chandler to rule over like a king, being one of few people in Royal Woods who had any Bakugan. Lincoln rushed to the entrance where he found two large teens being attacked by Leonidas like a wasp. A wasp that bites and scratches... A lot.

Leonidas: Let me in. LET ME IIIIIIIIIIIN!

Lincoln took Leonidas as the teens rubbed the many bite marks and scratches from Leonidas.

Lincoln: SorryaboutwhathappenedIwillsendmyregaurds!!

The albino boy turned to run away but stopped when he saw Anderson and Taylor with Billy and Tommy were behind them.

Leonidas: FIGHT!!!

Lincoln: Hey you two, mind if I just leave and we never speak about this-

Taylor: Get in the fight pit.

Leonidas: FIGHT!!!

Lincoln: (dejected) Okay......

Lincoln turned around back to the entrance and Taylor, Anderson, Billy, and Tommy followed him inside. Inside, there was a field covering every inch of the building. Bakugan and their Brawlers were battling in octagonal concrete pits, each roughly the size of a stadium, the field kept even the most Earth breaking of brawls from making any damage that lasted. When a Bakugan smashed something, the damage seemed to reverse itself back to normal.

Lincoln: (thinking) A repair stadium field, I only ever heard about it from rumors... Not only does it repair any damage like it doesn't happen, it makes small rooms become bigger then they actually are... This whole place makes me feel like an ant in a mall...

Leonidas: FIGHT!!!

Lincoln squeezed Leonidas between his hands as he was led to a pit that was free. Tommy and Billy entered, smiling at Lincoln.

Lincoln: Wait... Why am I fighting two guys!?

Taylor: Just get IN!!

Taylor and Anderson pushed Lincoln into the pit and Leonidas floated as they got ready to Brawl.

Lincoln: Only one Bakugan and its a 1v2... I'm boned...

Leonidas: You are a defeatist.

Lincoln: I'm a realist! We're at a majorly rigged disadvantage.

Leonidas: Don't care. Fight.

Lincoln: But-

Leonidas: Fight!

Lincoln: I-

Leonidas: Fight!

Lincoln: OH FINE!!! I'M READY!

Anderson stood just outside the pit, holding a megaphone.

Anderson: This is a Classic Brawler Bout! Winner gets one of the Loser's Bakugan!

Lincoln: (thinking) And I only have one...

Anderson: One Bakugan per Brawler.

Lincoln: Yes!

Leonidas: Damn!

Anderson: BRAWL!!

Lincoln immediately took off, looking for a Darkus Core, but he was suddenly knocked down as Tommy rammed into him, causing Leonidas to go flying. Billy then threw a Pyrus Core at Leonidas.

Lincoln: Leonidas!!

Instead of failing to stand however, something unexpected happened, Leonidas transformed just like Bakugan did, but now, he bore the Pyrus Colors.

Leonidas

Power: 1100 Gs

Immediately, everyone stares wide eyed and jaws dropped at the fact this Bakugan just adapted.

Tommy & Billy: WHAAAAAAAAAAT?!?!?!?!?

Anderson & Tylor: WHAAAAAAAAAAT?!?!?!?!?

Everyone not Brawling: WHAAAAAAAAAAT?!?!?!?!?

 Lincoln: WHAAAAAAAAAAT?!?!?!?!?

Meanwhile, watching from the darkness was Masquerade, who was smiling.

Masquerade: Being from the Doom Dimension. Leonidas belongs to no one faction, he absorbs energy and becomes any faction he so pleases.

Leonidas roared as Billy and Tommy readied their Bakugan.

Billy: What kinda Bakugan can swap Factions!?

Tommy: Shut up and throw your Bakugan!

Tommy and Billy throw their Bakugan.

Aquos Limulus

Power: 550 Gs

Pyrus Howlkor

Power: 500 Gs

The two Bakguan charged into Leonidas who simply stood there as the two Bakugan tried to push him back. Leonidas then roared as he brushed off the Bakugan with a simple

Leonidas: Come on! FIGHT ME SERIOUSLY!!!

Tommy: We're not strong enough!

Billy: Find some BakuCores then!

Tommy: It has G-Power of over 1000! How many will that take before we lose!?

Lincoln scrolled through his Ability Cards to see if he could end this brawl quickly, but he only had Subterra cards on him. But then he quickly remembered what Leonidas did, not even 3 minutes ago. Lincoln quickly bolted and grabbed a Subterra BakuCore, Billy noticed.

Billy: What's Loud up to?!

Lincoln: Leonidas! Catch!

Lincoln threw the BakuCore to his Bakugan. Leonidas proceeded to bite down on it. With a flash of light, Leonidas' colors changed to that of a Subterra Bakugan.

Billy: He can do it mid battle too?!

Lincoln then placed another BakuCore into an ability card and raised it to the sky.

Lincoln: Ability Card, Activate! Terra Crunch!

The Dragonoid then raised his hands and smashed his fists against the ground, breaking it apart and causing the ground to cave under the Bakugan, then Leonidas gripped the ground hard and the ground crushed the two Bakugan until they reverted back to their ball forms. But instead of rolling back to the two bullies, they rolled toward Lincoln.

Leonidas: Is that all? I fought rats tougher than that! 

Lincoln: So your fault to what happened to Lisa's lab rats...

Anderson: Lincoln... Wins... (smacks lips) Ugh, those words do not feel right to say...

Tommy: WHAT THE HECK?!?!?!

Billy: I CALL CHEATS & HACKS!!!

Taylor: This is an underground brawl club. The only rules down here are, don't snitch.

Leonidas turned back into his ball form and let a huff as he floated over to Lincoln, who was picking up his two new Bakugan.

Leonidas: That was disappointing. 

Lincoln: Shut up and let's get out of here.

Lincoln grabbed Leonidas and ran out of the underground brawling arena. Up in the VIP area where Masquerade was, Chandler slammed open the door with anger on his face.

Chandler: Alright, mask boy, care to explain what that thing was?! The BakuPedia hasn't been updated for weeks because all Bakugan have been discovered! How'd Larry find a new one that's so powerful!?

Masquerade: What do you know of the Doom Dimension?

Chandler: Huh? The place where all Bakugans go when they break?

What Chandler said is true, Bakugan are as breakable as their toy counterparts in our world. When a Bakugan is broken, two things happen; It releases a blood curdling and ear rupturing screech, followed by it sinking into its shadow, never to be seen again.

Masquerade: Yes, that Bakugan, Leonidas, is from that place. Born from the bits and droplets of power from the Bakugan who've fallen there. It has no place in any tribes of Bakugan. 

Chandler: And its G-Power? Nothing we've ever had here comes even close to a 1000 starting Gs!

Masquerade: That's because of the Doom Dimension as well. 

Masquerade took a sip of a red fluid drink he had in a wine glass.

Masquerade: Kid's who've have never seen peace and kid's who have never known war, have different values.

Chandler began to sweat at how 'into it' Masquerade was getting.

Masquerade: Vestroia a land of peace and division. The Doom Dimension devoured all, Tribes meant nothing, Power was the only thing that allowed longer survival. Leonidas is a being born from the memories of the weak and the strong, he is a Dragon Meant for Battle!!!

Masquerade laughed manically, however, he was alone in the room, as Chandler had quickly retreated.

Chandler: That dude is a 100 pounds of HELL NAW in a 2 pound bag!!

Back at the school, Lincoln was walking while looking at the two Bakugan he had won. He smiled when Leonidas floated over his shoulder.

Leonidas: They're asking if you can clean out some grime in their crevices.

Lincoln stopped in his tracks and looked at Leonidas.

Lincoln: What?

Leonidas: They want to be cleaned.

Lincoln: And how do you know that?

Leonidas: (Points at the Bakugan) They said it. Can you not hear them? They are very vocal about it.

Lincoln looked at the Bakugan in his hands but he heard nothing.

Lincoln: I don't hear anything.

Leonidas: Huh, looks like only I can hear them. (to the Bakugan) Yes, that does mean your cries to be let free weren't being ignored. That Chandler kid was evil, but he still didn't hear anything from you two, or any of the Bakugan in that jar your talking about.

Lincoln grew more curious as Leonidas continued to talk to the Bakugan.

Lincoln: (thinking) Maybe its because he was born from dead Bakugan that he can hear voices no one (talking) Hey, can you ask them who what kid they got took from?

Leonidas: Why?

Lincoln: I wanna take these guys back to them.

Leonidas: Fine, but first.... Question.....

Leonidas and Lincoln looked out to the empty school parking lot, Lincoln's family were no where in sight.

Leonidas: Where's your family van?

Lincoln: They probably left when I wasn't coming out because SOMEBODY wanted to go brawl hunting. Besides, I would've had to walk anyway, my family have been really pushing me to stop Bakugan Brawling.

Leonidas: ...... Imma beat up your family again.

Lincoln: Please don't...
