when dan kuso went through the portal, he ended up in the x tower. he saw a statue of v and a statue of ekusu on the entrance. meanwhile, bird, barbell, agnus (shane), ekusu, rip and king were there in v's tournament, which is a combo of the two games: bakugan and beyblade.

"welcome to the tournament. i'm v and this is my tournament, at the x tower." said v. "today, this tournament is a combo of the two sports: bakugan and beyblade. here's how to play: your bakugans will be set to SA mode and your beyblades will get their powers back. then when your bakugan or beyblade is low on health, your bakugan will roll out or your beyblade will unleash it's avatar. the winner gets their powers back and the loser: sayonara, team!"

when dan and dragonoid went to v's tournament, he realised that he was the last one to arrive. "hey!" said barbell. "you came so late and we are already here!"

"yeah! big time!" said rip.

as the tournament starts, v announced "first round. dan versus king. START!"

dan and king got a hexagonal dice-shaped thing and their bakugan and beyblade abilities came back. "whoa- whaaaaaaat!?" said dan. "our powers came back?" "mine too?" said king. "oh what pleasure!"

meanwhile, a girl named hina (who was a fan of bird) went on a vacation to bakugan city, where bakugan brawlers live. she explored the shops, looked at the bakugans and even watched the tournament. "this is bakugan news and today's news is that there is a tournament showing in the x tower. this tournament has two rounds and this is the first round. dan kuso versus king manju."

"GO DAN!!!!" said hina. "I WISH YOU COULD DO BETTER!!!!"

meanwhile, back at the battle, dragonoid and leon claw battled for hours. "DRAGONOID!" dan shouted. "LEON CLAW!" shouted king.

and so, the dragon and the lion clashed for hours and hours untill... leon claw burst and never got it's power back. "NOOOOO!!!! LEON!!!" said king.

soon, leon claw chose v's side, abandoning king manju.

"the winner is... DAN KUSO!!!!" said v.

meanwhile, king was dissapointed that v takes away his leon claw. "it was all my fault." said king. "leon claw's gone."

"don't worry, we can make a new one for you!" said cho.

despite cho encouraging king, he knowed that blading is outlawed by chip because they are a threat to humans like bakugans. meanwhile, v planned to put the virus into leon claw so it could rampage through the city. "HAHAHAHA!!!!!" said v. "MY PLAN IS COMPLETE!!! NOW THE REAL PARTY BEGINS!!!!!!"
