Dan stared across the room bored, mostly bored of Magnus and Ajit's conversation but the setting up had been just as boring. Due to him and Magnus's plans to go to war as soon as the others arive the two hadn't really spoken the whole time. The most conversation Dan made with either of them was just a simple:

"Where'd you want this?"
"Oh just over there"

Or something along those lines. Dan had been listening to Magnus and Ajit's conversation for a bit but stopped paying attention as all they were really talking about was games about people killing eachother. Don't get him wrong, Dan had started watching anime and was keeping up with the manga of his favourite series but none of the others seems to have watched it, he guesses if they had they'd have spoken about it. So Dan had zoned out and just listened to music he played from his laptop while they set up. That was one good thing about the other two being so busy talking, there'd been no complaints when Dan put a playlist he liked on.

By now they'd just about finished setting up but none of the others were due there for another hour and twenty minutes. He picked up his phone and checked for any notifications, game updates, messages, posts from people he follows, anything would've been good but there was nothing. So instead he opened his messages and looked back on a conversation he'd had the night before.

Private messages: Dan - Kurin.

Dan: hey

Dan: heyyyyyyyy

Dan: heeeeeyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

Dan: oh crap it's 4 am sorry you're prolly sleeping

Kurin: well I'm awake now

Kurin: oh god what happened in the group chat-

Dan: a lot idk if I can explain

Kurin: ok I'm going to backread...

Dan: oh ok

Kurin: alright finished, that was interesting-

Kurin: And Magnus was right to tell you all to go to sleep smh

Kurin: what are you doing up anyway, didn't you say you were going to sleep over an hour ago

Dan: I ah I couldn't sleep ig

Kurin: oh any reason?

Dan: uhhhhmmmm idk

Dan: ig I'm just thinking about a lot of stuff

Dan: like nothing important or heavy or anything just random things but aagghh my brain being so busy is keeping me awake ig

Dan: also I have a song stuck in my head which isn't helping aha

Kurin: which song?

Dan: ah you prolly wouldn't know it,,, doesn't really seem like your kinda song-- it's called normal

Kurin: Sasha Sloan?

Dan: YOU KNOW IT?!?

Kurin: ... why could I hear you yelling that in my head...

Dan: idk hahaha

Kurin: so do you want to talk about any of those small thoughts?

Dan: aaahhhhh not really I mean they're not important or anything-

Kurin: mmm sure. well you woke me up at 4 am you might as well tell me

Dan: you sure? don't you wanna sleep?

Kurin: stop dodging it Dan

Dan: aaaaaaaa fine

Dan: well some of it really is stupid like how if humans hadn't become smart then we'd prolly all be wandering around in forests and grasslands hunting like animals do and a theory about a series I like and just thoughts and ideas about a ship from that series

Dan: but then also ig I'm kinda worried about tomorrow, well later ig?

Dan: I mean everyone's gonna be here and ik there's gonna be some pool noodle battles and I'm p sure Ajit's planned something probably with some of the others ik it's gonna be fun

Dan: but I'm also kinda nervous bc like past sleepovers with the AO haven't always gone so well and now it's the AO and all of our other friends too idk it's just kinda worrying me

Dan: what if something bad happens?

Dan: oh god sorry i guess I'm kinda being a downer rn-

Dan: you don't have to respond to this

Dan: sorry

Kurin: Dan it's fine

Kurin: I actually kind of get it

Dan: you do?

Kurin: yeah, it makes sense that you're nervous about this

Dan: oh I thought I was just being nervous for no reason

Kurin: no this is normal

Kurin: man why do I feel like you have a problem with telling people when you're not feeling good just because you think you're being stupid or you don't want to worry people...?

Dan: UH-

Kurin: oh my god...

Kurin: well I actually think it'll go okay, definitely won't be perfect, just look at the group I don't think there's one working braincell in some of these people's heads

Dan: PFFT

Dan: oh shouldn't be laughing I'm one of those people

Kurin: you have at least half a braincell for recognising you're dumb

Kurin: oh god you know you had/have a song stuck in your head well now I've got house of memories by p!atd in my head

Dan: oohh p good song

Kurin: you?. you know it?

Dan: yeah??

Kurin: okay don't get mad but I assumed you only listened to songs from the Lego movie or stuff like the muffin song or creeper aw man

Dan: tbh a lot of people assume that, ig that's the kinda vibes I give off with my personality and stuff lol

Dan: I acc listen to a lot of stuff that isn't like that though ajsksnisjs

Kurin: huh. I'm going to have to show you a playlist later

Kurin: I'd send it rn but it's on private on YouTube and I can't be bothered to change that right this second

Kurin: I think you'd like it though

Dan: oh ok!

Dan: wait hangon

Kurin: ?

Dan: I just realised this is literally like our first proper conversation over text other than in the gc-

Kurin: oh what?

Kurin: oh wow it actually is

Kurin: weird..

Dan: yeeeppppp sure is

Dan: wait how did my messages wake you up anyway don't you put your phone on mute at night?

Kurin: yeah but it fell off the shelf I put it on above my bed and fell on my face

Dan: ..is it okay for me to laugh at that

Kurin: yeah it's fine

Kurin: but maybe not out loud if you don't wanna wake people up

Dan: ohhh good point

Kurin: It has gone awkwardly quiet in this conversation now, should we find a new topic or both try and sleep

Dan: oh yeah ig we should get some sleep

Kurin: yeah ok

Kurin: wait before you go

Kurin: do you want me to come over earlier than whatever the meeting time is tomorrow maybe? if you're still feeling nervous it might help to talk about it idk

Dan: oh, I think it'll be fine just talking to you now helped

Kurin: ok

Dan: thanks a lot :) and sorry I woke you up

Kurin: np and it's fine, it wouldn't have woken me up if my phone hadn't fallen on my face so honestly more my fault for placing it there in a bad spot

Kurin: besides it was kinda fun talking to you ig

Dan: yeah!! I enjoyed talking to you too!!

Dan: gn Kurin!!

Kurin: mhm goodnight

Dan smiled reading the final messages in that conversation, though if he was completely honest he kinda regretted not taking Kurin up on his offer for him to come over early. He was starting to feel slightly worried again and it probably didn't help that the song that was playing was actually a pretty sad one.

He nearly went to switch the song when he was interrupted by a knock at the door and his Mom poking her head in the door, "Oh wow it's looking nice in here!" She commented looking around, Dan smiled and Ajit nodded in agreement while Magnus just stood there somewhat awkwardly not knowing if he should respond in some way. Which Dan had to admit he found rather funny.

"Thanks Mom, it took a while! So what's up, or did you just come to see how the setting up is going?" Dan asked, attempting to keep his laughter in and mostly succeeding.

"Actually, one of your friends arrived early and I came to let you know." Mrs Kouzo told him.

"Huh? Who?" Ajit wondered, from over the other side of the room.

"Lia, she's inside the house right now in the kitchen, I wanted to check if you all were finished setting up and not in the middle of a pillow fight or something if the sort, so I could let her in here."

Dan nodded excitedly, "Yeah! Let her in! We finished a while ago."

"Ten minutes ago."

"Same thing!"

Dan's Mom nodded with a laugh, "I'll go get her then." She removed her head from the gap in the door and closed the door behind her.

"Something wrong Magnus? You look kinda awkward I guess?" Ajit asked.

"I'm fine, how do I describe it... Ah yeah, parents. I never really know what I'm supposed to do around them." He replied, reminding Dan about how Magnus never had parents and maybe it was a little mean to laugh at his expression a minute ago.

"Just do what you'd normally do, Lia once slapped me in the face with a rolled up magazine in front of my parents for being stupid and when I protested that it wasn't that stupid they sided with her." The red streaked told the other with strangely good timing as Lia walked through the door just as he finished speaking, somehow not hearing any of it.

"Wow love what you did with the place, it looks so different to normal, please tell me you didn't shove everything in the cupboard." Lia commented entering the building as the door slammed shut behind her.

"No we did not! Please don't check-"

"So what's going on here, the room seems kinda split across the middle like there's been some kind of- Oh yeah the war declaration. I get it now." Lia spoke, seemingly just for the reason of making conversation and clearing the atmosphere in the room which honestly Dan was greatful for.

"Hey why'd you get here so early?" The shortest of the boys in the room wondered.

Lia let out a laugh, "I figured it'd be a disorganized hell and thought I'd come help out since I had nothing better to do. Looks like I was wrong though, so long as we ignore the cupboard." She aimed that last comment at Dan. Then sat down beside him on the couch. "Is someone going to do something about that depressing music you're playing or am I going to have to?"

"Oh. Nah, I'll change it!"

The next hour passed quickly and soon enough everyone had arrived. The reunion of the Glanz four took place and Noah joked "Alright we've all seen eachother again, you can set fire to someone now Julia." Or at least Dan hoped he was joking.

When Kurin arrived he sat down next to Dan and nudged him gently in the arm, "Hey.," He greeted.

"Ah, hey!" Dan smiled back causing Kurin to smile too.

A few minutes passed where everyone was talking amongst themselves. Lia, Wynton, Ajit, Aay and Emily were all about to start up a game of among us and were trying to rope Riot and Shun into playing too. Noah seemed to have dragged Magnus over into a corner and the two were whispering together about something, while Dan, Kurin, Julia, Paul and Felix were all talking abot the skatepark the day before. When Magnus and Noah returned from their conversation and stood in front of Dan and Kurin, "Hey so remember the challenges of pool noodle fights?" Noah asked, earning nods from Dan and Kurin, "'Kay well I had an idea, we make it a teams thing, me and Magnus vs you two."

"Oooohh so this is actually gonna happen?" Julia looked between the two pairs, "I'm cheering for Dan and Kurin just because it'll annoy Noah." She declared.

"Bit-"

Magnus slammed his hand over Noah's mouth to prevent an argument breaking out before the pool noodle war did. "So, are you up for it or are you cowards." He asked.

The two who'd been challenged looked at eachother and nodded, "Alright," Dan agreed, "But let's all agree that no matter what team wins we all still talk with eachother and stay friendly."

It was just as well Dan made everyone agree to that or he probably wouldn't have spoken to Magnus or Noah for the rest of the day or night after his team lost.

The among us game had been put oh hold because everyone had wanted to watch the pool noodle fight and Lia had wanted to livestream it to the Awesome Brawlers' channel, something suprisingly everyone had agreed to, although Paul only agreed if he could livestream it to the Glanz four's channel too which no one had a problem with.

After they'd been declared the winners by Wynton (who made a suprisingly good commentator) Magnus had been so suprised and happy about the win he actually highfived Noah when he held his hand out. Suprising everyone and causing Noah to yell "Y'ALL BETTER STILL BE STREAMING THIS BECAUSE I THINK MAGNUS JUST SHOWED GENUINE HAPPINESS FOR ONCE!"

Magnus ended up tackling him to the floor to get him to shut up but both of them were laughing so it was all in good fun.

(Lia and Paul both managed to get that on their livestreams too. Then Paul took over filming for both of them while Lia and Riot had their fight which Lia quickly lost as Riot hd a good but pretty evil strategy.)

It was around half six by this point and everyone was getting pretty hungry, especially the people who'd been fighting and Shun, Julia and Felix who had left halfway through the fight because Julia had pointed out a cat to Felix and they'd both decided to go say hi to it and had dragged Shun along with them. Upon closer inspection they found out the cat was a stray and had worked together to catch (this ended up with Julia getting a scrach all the way across her left cheek and but she didn't care and by the end of it the cat was safely in her arms, which is a weird thing to say as usually the words Julia and safe would never be in the same sentence). Felix phoned his Dad asking if he could adopt a cat from Los Volmos and got approval so the trio had taken the cat back to studio D with them. So it was great timing when Dan's Mom brought over a load of trays piled with food, most a lot of it was stuff like pizza of all different kinds, sausage rolls and cakes but there was a lot of other things there too such as fruit and a lot of different types of sweets and candies. They were also reminded that there's ice-cream in the fridge.

The second Mrs Kouzo left the studio Aay yelled "PINAPPLE ON PIZZA YES OR NO!" Upon seeing the Hawaiian pizza. Starting a huge debate between everyone there. Which didn't end until Noah admitted he'd tried watermelon on pizza once and liked it which started a whole other debate which suprisingly Julia, Paul and Felix all backed him up on as apparently they'd all tried it too and all of them had liked it.

The debating over food didn't end until they were reminded they'd all be better off eating it than arguing over people's preferences on pizza toppings no matter how weird they seem to some members of the group.

Once they all finished eating, leaving quite a lot of leftovers to eat as snacks for the rest of the evening/night. The whole group agreed to put on a film and play some games.

Suprisingly there wasn't much debate over what film to put on as Shun's suggestion to put on a Monster High film was agreed to by everyone in the group who had ever seen Monster High and everyone who hadn't was fine with the suggestion, when Wynton asked what Monster High film they should put on, he was sure a debate was about to start as Kurin and everyone in the Glanz Four had opened their mouths to speak at the same time, luckily though they all had the same idea in mind and so they put Boo York Boo York on.

Ajit, Kurin, Dan, Aay, Wynton and the Glanz four decided to stick to mobile or computer games with Ajit and Wynton playing temple run two and competing to see who could get the highest score in a set time. Dan, Wynton and all the Glanz four joined a server of Roblox Bee swarm simulator together, while Aay joined a public among us server.

The remaining members of the group; Lia, Riot, Magnus, Emily and Shun were playing various board games at the same time. They were all involved in a game of Pokémon monopoly while Lia and Riot played Jenga and Magnus, Emily and Shun all played that version of guess who where there's the name of something from a category written on your forehead and you have to ask the others questions to guess who you are.

While you'd assume this was chaotic and loud it was actually quite quiet except for when a song played in the film which is when everyone in the group who knew the song would sing along to it and everyone who was hearing it for the first time would try their best at singing along.

When the film finished an hour and a quarter later it was ten past nine and already dark outside, everyone was getting kinda bored of the games they were playing and the heating had turned on too making the room quite warm and almost stuffy so when Ajit, Magnus, Noah, Julia Paul and Felix all left Studio D to "Get some air, take a look at the sky and maybe climb onto the roof." No one doubted them.

A horrible decision really.

The remaining group inside studio D put another Monster High film on, this time they chose Haunted because Dan and Wynton both like to recreate the Porter and Spectra cracking the case song where Porter breaks off halfway through like "Hi spectra, WAIT SPECTRA?!?!"

Everyone still in the room was watching the film and talking amongst themselves, Lia and Riot had started another game of Jenga while Dan, Wynton and Kurin talked about all their favourite things about Monster High while Shun, Emily and Aay were deep in conversation talking about the owl house while Aay stroked the now much calmer cat that Julia, Shun and Felix had taken in earlier.

It was about half an hour into the film when Riot and Lia's Jenga tower toppled over yet again, instead of starting to rebuild it this time though Riot had a thought. "Those six have been gone for ages now, I'm going to go check on them." She announced.

Emily looked up from her conversation, nodded and gave a small thumbs up. She'd just started to get a little worried about how her brother was doing too. While he could just be sitting on the roof like he'd said he and the others might do there was also another number of things that could've happened too. Lia groaned, "Ohh great I guess I have to rebuild this by myself then."

"Yep! Have fun with that Liiiaaa!" Riot called out in a singsong voice. She skipped over to the door, pulled it open and stepped out letting the door close behind her, only to be met with a strange but interesting sight.

She was standing in the middle of a circle made from stones with a star shape inside it with a pentagon inside that, on each point of the star and in the centre of the pentagon were lit candles glowing eerily in the darkness. "Wha-?" She tried to ask but was cut off by a scream.

"HOLY HELL IT'S SATAN! THE SUMMONING WORKED!"

"HECK YEAH!"

"WE FINALLY DID IT AFTER SO LONG!"

"YESSSSS!"

"AND WE DIDNT SET OUR CLOAKS ON FIRE EITHER! DEFINITE WIN!"

The members of the Glanz four really weren't holding back with their excitement about summoning Satan..? The four of them and Magnus and Ajit had all donned black hooded cloaks over whatever they were wearing and we're standing in a group in front of the circle.

"Uh guys I think that's just Riot-" Ajit pointed out.

"Yeah so? Same thing right?" Magnus bit back a smirk and with a laugh.

"Oh well I guess we did it then!"

Ajit and Magnus joined the Glanz four in yelling about their triumph.

Riot quickly backed away back into studio D, closing the door behind her.

"What was all the yelling about?" Lia asked as Riot came and sat down next to her again.

"They think they summoned Satan."

"Pff- They what? Summoned Satan?" Kurin repeated incredulously.

"Yeah, something like that."

"Huh. Weird."

When the group of six returned half an hour later still with the capes on. "GUYS WE SUMMONED SATAN AND CAUGHT HIM ON OUR LIVESTREAM!" Noah yelled throwing his cape off onto the floor.

"Wasn't that like thirty minutes ago, what were you doing after that?"

"Oh we actually went onto the roof to look at the sky. There's a great view from the roof of the house." Felix explained.

The five still near the door pulled their capes off and threw them on top of Noah's. Everyone then watched the final fifteen minutes of the film before the question came up "What should we do now?" Shun asked.

"Well it's half ten so preferably-" Kurin started before cutting himself off, "Uh, I don't know."

"Truth or dare?"

Aay's suggestion was met with mixed reactions. Some members of the group were all for it while others either hated it or thought it wouldn't end well.

Eventually the disagreement was settled by Magnus of all people asking if "Anyone's got a better idea?"

Apparently Dan did have a better idea "What about games like wink wink murder, splat, that game where you say someone and everyone it applies to has to switch places with someone else in the circle, grandma's keys and stuff like that?" He suggested which was met with agreement from everyone.

They all started off with wink wink murder which was a lot better said than done.

First round Aay forgot he wasn't supposed to let the detective (Ajit) know who he was the murderer and seemingly decided it'd be a good strategy to kill the detective before anyone else.

Second round Aay was the detective, he couldn't figure out who the murderer was (Noah) and so Noah won that round.

Third round Noah was detective and he did not hesitate to act the part. Before he left the room he'd taken a random baseball cap out of his bag leaving everyone wondering what he was going to do but when he re-entered the room he was in charcter as a detective entering the room and stating his name is "Shuichi Saihara" and that they call him "The ultimate detective" then thoroughly investigating everyone before deciding the murderer was in fact Julia!

When Julia left the room to be the detective of the fourth round she called out "See this is why I prefer Kyoko" Then almost unsuprisingly when she was called back into the room she was acting as Kyoko, she was quick at discovering the murderer although during the first death of the round Noah died resting his head on Shun's shoulder, Dan then nudged and winked at Wynton who winked back, (thinking about their conversation back at the trampoline park) Dan promptly pretended to die. Julia saw and Wynton was uncovered as the murderer.

Fifth round Wynton was the detective and Magnus was the murderer. Wynton lost because before he knew it everyone in the room was dead.

Sixth round Magnus was the detective and he spent so much time suspecting Dan and Riot that he nearly missed Ajit kill someone, keyword being nearly, Ajit was spotted.

Seventh round Ajit lost by guessing Felix was the murderer when really it was someone no one ever would've suspected, Emily.

Emily became the detective while Dan was the murderer. At first Emily didn't want to suspect anyone but then after Noah encouraged her "It's just like among us! Suspecting people is good!" She managed to figure out it was Dan pretty quickly.

Magnus whispered a "Thank you" to Noah, who tilted his head and shrugged with a smile in response, a silent way of saying "Don't mention it".

Before Dan went outside Paul asked if they could all switch to another game. They were all in agreement so they started up that switching places game no one knows the name of.

Dan started in the centre of the circle first. "If you were in the group when it was first created."

All the Awesome Brawlers moved leaving Lia in the centre, "If you're currently not part of a team."

Magnus, Kurin, Riot and Emily all moved leaving Riot in the middle.

"Hey what about Aay? Isn't he not in a team?" Paul asked.

"Nah I am, small team called the exit. Most of y'all don't know them though."

"Ohh right."

"If you called me Satan earlier." Riot announced causing the half of the room who didn't know this to burst out laughing.

The Satan summoners all moved leaving Felix in the middle.

"If you have a pet."

Noah, Dan, Aay and Kurin all moved and somehow all ended up in spaces.

"You have a pet Kurin?" Aay asked confusedly.

"..My cacti don't count?"

"Nope."

For his mistake Kurin went in the middle. "If you.. I don't know.. Breathe?" He joked but everyone took it seriously and moved into a space which was everywhere now. Julia ended up in the middle.

"You're kidding! Ugh man..." She looked over at Noah who mouthed something. "NOAH I AM NOT SAYING THAT!" She glared.

"Aw man, woulda been funny."

"Oh there's an idea. If you like the song creeper aw man."

Some of the Awecome Brawlers, Aay and all of the Glanz four moved.

Aay was in the middle. "If you want to raid the kitchen even though there's enough food here for a great midnight feast?"

For a moment no one moved then everyone moved led by Dan.

"Let's stop this game and do that!"

"Yeah!"

"Ok!"

"Seriously? It's like half eleve- nevermind. Let's do this."

Everyone snuck across to the actual house that Dan, Ajit and Dan's parents (hopefully soon to be Ajit's adoptive parents) live in and all entered through the backdoor that leads directly into the kitchen.

"So what are we doing? Also we gotta be at least kinda quiet, parents are probably asleep." Ajit wondered.

Noah smirked from where he was stood on Julia's shoulders so he could reach into a cupboard. "Exactly what you're supposed to do in a kitchen." He grinned.

An hour and forty minutes later the kitchen was filled with the smell of freshly baked cheese twists, chocolate chip cookies and cakes. Aay had appointed himself in charge of the kitchen which had resulted in the first ever successful cooking session in Noah, Julia, Paul and Felix's entire lives and a load of great looking freshly baked food.

Magnus had also taken over a part of the kitchen making hot chocolates for everyone with the help of Dan.

Wynton, Emily, Shun and Ajit had been helping Aay and the Glanz four with the baking, Lia had been helping too while taking photos and videos of the whole thing. Both Kurin and Riot had just sat down and refused to move, Riot was refusing to help with the excuse "Get my hands dirty cooking no way!" But one look at her could tell you she was actually exhausted so no one said anything about it, no one said anything about Kurin either as everyone's well aware he usually goes to sleep a lot earlier than twenty past one in the am, which was the time they finished baking.

Once they all made their way back to studio D, Wynton, Shun and Lia carrying the trays of freshly baked food as they were the only ones trustworthy to carry them without tripping who were still awake enough, Magnus and Emily carried the trays of hot chocolate while Dan helped Kurin make his way back to Studio D, Kurin being too tired to walk probably without falling asleep right there on the grass, or so he said and he really didn't look or sound like he was exaggerating.

Riot said she was fine and awake enough to walk by herself and proved that she was although the Glanz four kept an eye on her to make sure she'd really be okay. Which she was.

As soon as everyone was back in studio D and the door was shut everyone went about setting up their sleeping bags in groups.

Shun and Aay set their stuff up with the Glanz four, beside them Magnus, Emily and Riot set up together and next to them Ajit, Dan, Wynton, Lia and Kurin were set up in a group too. Although the groups were all sort of mixed together into one big group.

After everyone was set up the food and hot chocolates were shared around, somehow the small amount of caffeine in the hot chocolate and the chocolate chips in the cookies was enough to wake everyone up a bit.

Throughout this one at a time someone would go to the bathroom in the building and change into their pyjamas then return to join the group where everyone was casually talking and telling funny stories of things that have happened to them and others they're friends with.

Noah had just finished telling a story about how him and his teammates had got back at some assholes from school by making a fake cow poo out of rat food and a mix of spices that together smelled horrible and then throwing it at them. When a light snore was heard, Dan had fallen asleep. Suprisingly before anyone else did.

"I mean he was up kinda late these last few nights..." Ajit mused.

"Yeah I was woken up by him messaging me at four am last night, we spoke for a while I think it must've been at least half four when he went to sleep?" Kurin replied thoughtfully before shrugging, "Well if people are going to sleep then, I'm gonna sleep too, goodnight." He laid down in his sleeping bag.

"Oh okay, goodnight."

"Lia you're closest can you turn off the lights?"

"Sure!"

The lights flicked off and the fairy lights strung up were the only lighting left in the room.

All of the group except Noah, Shun, Wynton and Julia decided to try and sleep. So those four were left awake and whispering.

"Hey, y'know I brought two pairs of earphone splitters and I can screenshare so if Wynton moved over here we could all watch some anime or a cartoon together or something?" Noah offered.

"Sounds cool. I'm in." Julia whispered back.

"I'd like that.." Shun nodded.

Wynton picked up his sleeping bag and began to move it over, being careful not to step on anyone. "Sounds good to me too." He agreed, spreading his sleeping bag out on the floor and laying down on it.

Julia grabbed a bowl of candy from the table. While Noah set up the stream and passed Shun the earphone splitters to set up on his tablet while Noah plugged in his laptop and set them up on his.

After everything was set up with Noah and Julia using Noah's laptop and Shun and Wynton using Shun's tablet, the group of four watched Pokémon sun and moon. Until at some point Julia noticed that Noah had fallen asleep and so had Shun. She pressed pause on the episode they were watching and when Wynton looked up from the screen and noticed what'd happened he nodded and they both removed the earphones from both their own and the two sleeping boys' ears then powered off the devices they'd been using.

"Julia placed the laptop between hers and Noah's sleeping bags and nodded at Wynton, "G'night."

He nodded back, "'Night Julia."

Wynton then removed his glasses placed them down beside his pillow rolled over in his sleeping bag and drifted off to sleep.

When Dan woke up in the morning he looked around the room, it was still dimly lit only by the fairy lights and the sunlight coming through the blinds, he sat up and looked around, everyone else was still asleep although it seemed like after he'd passed out some of the others had moved slightly, Wynton was all the way the other side of the room, Shun and Noah seemed to be cuddling in their sleep and Paul and Felix had moved closer to eachother, the cat Felix had taken in curled up asleep on the end of his sleeping bag.

Dan smiled to himself, then turned he heard a movement beside him from where Kurin was just stirring awake. Dan watched as Kurin glanced at his phone screen to check the time (7:12 am) then looked at him, sat up and murmured, "Told you it'd go okay." and gently punched Dan in the arm in a similarly reassuring way to how he'd nudged him when he arrived the previous day.

"Yep, you were right.!" Dan smiled happily.

Causing Kurin to smile back in return.
