Magnus pulled his earphones out and folded then away. Slightly frustrated that he was supposed to join in a conversation. There were two going on. One was between Aay, Kurin and Riot that was mostly just them teasing and irritating each other. The other was between Dan, Lia and Wynton. Shun and Emily were both listening and laughing at that conversation. Magnus had no idea what they were talking about but they seemed to be laughing a lot.

The only other ones not involved in a conversation were ironically enough, Ajit and Noah. True to what he had told Magnus, Ajit had climbed up a tree when they'd all arrived and hadn't come down since. As for Noah, he was constantly typing on his phone. Deciding he should try talking to someone before Ajit exposes him again, he moved from his position against the tree he'd been leaning against to sit next to Noah. "...Hey." He muttered, half hoping Noah wouldn't hear him. "Oh Magnus!" He looked up surprised. "You actually listened to us!" He laughed "What's up?"

"Hm... Now I've put my phone away, not a lot. What are you doing?" He questioned, staring down at the other boy's phone screen. "Oh! Uh I've just been writing a fanfic... It's a uh hobby of mine... I guess..." Noah admitted slowly. Keeping his eyes focused on the grass. "Huh, can I see?" The ravenette asked. "Well sure! I guess...- It's probably not any good though." He scrolled back up to the top of the page before handing Magnus his phone. The two fell silent for a minute while Magnus read through the writing. When he finished reading it he handed back the phone. "That's.. Really good Noah. By any chance, do you post these online?"

"Oh, yeah-!" The shorter boy laughed awkwardly. "I sometimes post them on my Wattpad."

"What's the name of your account?"

"It's um, 'starfishronpa' I had the idea for Danganronpa with starfish when trying to change my name and- yeah-"

"I'm honestly not sure whether I should be more concerned about that name or by the fact that I follow you."

"YOU WHAT?!"

"Yeah." Magnus clarified before adding "Y'know I've been meaning to ask you a question." Noah blinked "Huh?"

"You've watched and played Danganronpa right?" Magnus asked, keeping his face blank, "Yeah..? Of course I have! What about it?"

"Hope or despair." He asked, biting back a smirk at the question that divided the Danganronpa fandom. Noah stared at him for a few seconds before a smile spread across his face and in a near perfect impression of Junko Enoshima he replied "Well despair of course! I'm not like Komdeda or Naegi, I live for despair... That pure despair you feel when faced with a catastrophe..? That is what I love."

"PFFT-"

The two continued to talk, starting up a conversation about fanfiction and anime which Shun was quick to join in on. While the three were talking Ajit climbed down from the tree to grab a cookie. Overhearing part of the conversation between Riot, Aay and Kurin as he did so.

"So Kurin? What's your sexuality again?" Riot asked, biting back a grin. "I told you, I'm not sure. I don't know who I'm attracted to I'm always too busy with other things to think about that but I know I'm asexual." He replied fiddling with a blade of grass.

"Aaysexual you say?"

"Wh- Why is my name in that word?" Aay wondered, "Does that mean Kurin likes me or something? Or is it just random?"

"IT'S RANDOM!"

"He likes you."

Riot smiled at Kurin while Kurin glared at her, Emily looked over worriedly but then looked away again after she was sure Riot was fine, going back to listening to the conversation between Dan, Wynton and Lia. Ajit had originally assumed that Emily and Magnus would be talking but it seemed like since Magnus had been staying home for a while the two siblings had spoken a lot before the meetup and had some silent agreement not to just talk to each other the whole time, in fact the two hadn't spoken to each other since they'd both arrived.

The thoughts of siblings reminded Ajit of something that had taken place in the group chat and he couldn't help turning to Aay, Kurin and Riot to ask. "Hey uh I've been wondering, when Trey was added to the group chat he said something about Kurin and Aay being boyfriends, was that true or..?"

Riot laughed, "Not yet!" Earning her a shove from Kurin. "No it is not true!" Kurin spaced out his words angrily glaring at Riot. "Dude, nah it's not true. Trey was trying to embarrass us or something before he got kicked. Didn't really work though, the only one who actually cared about it was Riot. The two of 'em both get a kick outta teasing us." Aay replied casually shrugging.

"Well yeah! You're both so easy to tease! You're dumb and Kurin's quick to get mad!"

"I AM NOT!" The two boys yelled at the same time. Ajit decided now would be a good time to go and join in the conversation with Dan before a debate broke out. As despite the amount of times Magnus had recommended it to him, Ajit was yet to watch Danganronpa and so had no idea how to handle a debate.

The conversation between Dan, Wynton and Lia was still in full swing when Ajit joined them. The three of them were talking about random things that happened in the past but it was all the funny moments. "YEAH AND THEN WYNTON SET IT ON FIRE FOR SOME STUPID REASON!"

"IT WAS FOR SCIENCE LIA! SCIENCE!"

"DOESN'T MEAN YOU SHOULD SET THINGS ON FIRE!"

"Hey remember when me and Drago knocked down all those trees by accident?"

"Dan that was about forty trees. You can't call that an accident."

"Ahahaha but it was though!"

"To be fair Wynton you can't call killing toasters and microwaves an accident." Ajit butted in.

"I-"

A laugh came from where Magnus, Noah and Shun were talking. "Yeah that was a pretty good one but episode forty seven was even better!" Noah exclaimed, throwing his hands up into the air. "Yeah, season two episode forty seven was one of the best, although I have to say episode thirty of season one was equally good." Magnus shrugged. "Um I actually really liked season two episode three and season one episode eleven." Shun quietly admitted. "Oh yeah! Season two episode three is one of my favourites too!" Noah cheered.

Dan smiled "Well they all seem to be getting along." He commented happily. "Yup! Hey.. That reminds me... I was gonna ask..-" Wynton muttered before raising his voice and calling over to the group discussing anime. "Hey Magnus!"

The named boy spun around and stared at the other boy, "What is it?" he asked. "Eh well I was just wondering, you and Noah seem to be getting along so I was curious what your first impression of him was when you met him IRL yesterday?"

Magnus kept staring at Wynton blank faced for a few moments longer before simply saying "Short." And turning back around.

Dan, Wynton, Ajit and Lia all looked at each other before bursting into laughter. Emily giggled a little too before spotting a butterfly land on a flower on a nearby bush. She turned and tugged lightly on China Riot's sleeve, Riot paused, stopping in the middle of a trash talk speech on Aay, and turned to look at her best friend. "What is it Emily?" She asked, feigning slight annoyance. "There's a really pretty butterfly over there, see?" Emily told her, pointing.

"Oh, I see." Riot smiled slightly, watching as the butterfly fluttered it's wings in the breeze, preparing to fly.

"Why don't you two go over there and look at the butterfly close up?" Kurin suggested, knowing that if Emily wanted to go, she'd be able to convince Riot to go with her, which would give him and Aay a break from her constant teasing. "Oh! Great idea, can we Riot?" Emily asked excitedly. Riot shot Kurin a look before turning back to Emily, "Well sure I guess." She replied, getting up. "Let's go, quickly."

"Yay!" Emily cheered, scrambling onto her feet and setting off in a run towards the bush with the butterfly just as it took off into the air, Emily kept chasing it. "Hey! Wait up!" Riot called, running after her.

"Finally, some peace..." Kurin sighed.

Less than a second later Aay screeched. Everyone turned to look at him, upon seeing what'd happened to him Noah, Dan, Ajit and Wynton burst into fits of laughter, Magnus let out a small chuckle, Shun stared in surprise, then started giggling a little too while Lia stared and let out an "Ewww." Before beginning to laugh too.

"EUGH YUCKY A BIRD TURD!" Aay screeched again. Kurin shook his head, already getting to his feet and grabbing Aay's arm to pull him up and drag him along. "We'll be back." He said shortly. Already planning the shortest route to the public toilets that would keep them away from Riot.

After a minute or so, everyone turned back to their conversations, same as before... Or not. Wynton made sure to catch Ajit's eye and give a nod as they returned to the conversation. So while taking part in the conversation, Ajit took his phone out and texted the group chat.

After tucking his phone back away into his pocket Ajit acted like something had just caught his attention over at the other side of the park and stayed staring at it for two whole minutes before climbing to his feet. "Hey I'm just gonna go check something out over there." Ajit pointed over to where he'd been looking moments before. "I probably won't be long." He told everyone. Dan looked up "Is something wrong?"

"Mm. Is everything alright?" Magnus asked, keeping his face and tone neutral but Ajit could tell he was actually concerned. It almost made him feel guilty about the prank they were about to pull. "Yeah I'm fine!" He reassured them, "I just think I saw something cool and wanted to check it out." The amber eyed boy explained. Magnus's face turned the slightest bit hesitant as if he wanted to ask something, likely to come with him, Ajit realised.

"Want me to come with you?" Wynton asked, smiling up at Ajit. The hesitance on Magnus immediately turned back to neutrality. "Mhm! Sure!" Ajit nodded, waiting for Wynton to stand up before waving at the others and leaving. Once they were out of earshot the two looked to each other. "You put the fake spiders behind the tree right?" Wynton checked. "Yup I sure did!" Ajit grinned.

"Opinions on season three episode eight?" Magnus asked. "Good character interactions, the subtle shipping moments were really cool, I wish there was a reference to season two episode eleven though. It would have made so much sense to have that reference in there y'know?" came the response from the shortest of the remaining five. "I see what you mean Noah, but... They'll probably tie up that loose end in the next season, if not at the end of this one." Shun replied logically.

"Yeah, that's true..." Noah admitted. Magnus nodded.

"Y'know I don't understand any of this but it sounds really cool!" The Pyrus brawler grinned. "It is, you'd probably really like this series Dan." The blonde told him.

Lia let out a loud groan.

"Huh? What's up with you Lia?" Dan asked. "I just realised Riot and Emily aren't back yet." Lia told him.

Magnus shook his head, "They're probably still chasing that butterfly."

"Yeah. I'm gonna go look for them." Lia muttered. Making her exit before anyone else could offer to help. As soon as she was sure none of the remaining four were watching, she ducked behind a bush and pulled her camera out.

"So where can I watch this?" Dan wondered. "I can send you a link later." The tall ravenette offered. "Really? That'd be great! Thanks Magnus!" Magnus simply nodded in reply. Noah glanced over to the ice cream stall near the other side of the park. "Man.. I might get an ice cream. You guys want one?"

Dan and Shun both immediately nodded. Magnus hesitated but then nodded a second later.

"Cool, what flavors do y'all want?"

"Uhhh I'll get cookie dough."

"I don't really mind..."

"Lemon, if they have it."

"Okay. Cookie dough, Lemon and- Shun you better come with me so you can choose what one you're getting. Also 'cause I won't be able to carry four ice creams. I've tried before, it doesn't work." Noah remembered with a small laugh. "Mhm! Okay." Shun agreed.

As the two left Shun turned and whispered to Noah "Was this your excuse to leave because of the prank?" Noah blinked in surprise. "Actually I'd forgotten about the prank until you mentioned it. I just really wanted ice cream." He shrugged.

"So, Magnus..?"

"Hm?"

"I've been wondering, how did you and Ajit become friends?"

"... It's... It's a long story... We met... A while back. Then after the battle league incident we ended up running into each other again. It wasn't exactly a casual hangout. We were both on a mission. But we did end up talking and becoming friends..." The ravenette replied slowly, pausing a lot as if to make sure he wasn't about to disclose unnecessary information. "Hm that's pretty cool y'know... I can see why you two get along."

"Huh?! And what's that supposed to mean?"

"No no! Nothing bad I swear! It's just... How do I put it... You have a lot in common I guess. It just makes sense somehow that you guys get along!"

"Mm... Right."

"I mean it!"

"Sure."

"Seriously- AGH!" Dan cut off with a screech and scrambled to hide behind Magnus. "What the hell was that for Dan?" The taller asked looking over his shoulder at the other with a glare."Look! There's a spider!" The chestnut haired boy yelled pointing.

"Wha-! Oh no."

"KILL IT KILL IT KILL IT!"

"And how do you suggest I do that?"

Dan paused for a moment. "Squash it?" He suggested. "...Are you kidding me? Do you not see the size of that thing!?"

"It's not that big?"

"If you're really stupid enough to think that then you'll kill it yourself."

"Uhmmm NEVERMIND!"

"Coward." The magenta eyed taunted. "I am not!" Dan glared back. "If you're so brave you'd kill it Magnus!"

"Well-"

"Coward." Dan mimicked. "At least I'm not scared of the fake ones!" The other responded. "That was a one time thing!- AGH THERE'S MORE OF THEM!" Dan screamed, scrambling to his feet.

"Y-Yeah..." Magnus muttered climbing to his feet and taking a step back. Not taking his eyes off the four spiders, he reached into the pocket of his oversized purple sweater and began to pull out his Bakugan.

"You're gonna use your Bakugan to kill it?" Dan asked, more to himself than Magnus. "Well-! What else are we supposed to do?!" He replied angrily.

Ajit and Wynton nodded at eachother and Ajit ran out of his hiding place and over to the two panicked boys, remote control in hand. "Laugh? Get pranked? I'm not sure, the options are endless." He grinned, picking up one of the mechanical spiders and waving the spider and remote at the two who were staring at him shocked.

Magnus was the first to speak. "You- You- That was a prank?!" Ajit nodded, fiddling with the spider and spinning it on one finger tip. "Mhm!"

"You're an asshole."

"Man... I never would've expected that!" Dan sighed, flopping down onto the ground.

Ajit shrugged, still grinning. "I'll text the others and tell them they can come back when they want to now." Magnus stared at him "They were all in on that? All of them? Even my sister?"

"Well it was Ajit's idea but Me and Noah all worked together to set it all up and stuff." Wynton explained, walking over to the trio. "As for the others we just asked them to leave for a bit at Ajit's signal 'though most of them left before we actually gave the signal." Ajit nodded in agreement when Wynton finished talking, "Pretty good huh?"

Magnus glared at him "I hope you know I'm going to get revenge on you for this."

"Oh god...- I'm dead aren't I..?"

"Mhm, yeah. Good as."

"Oh no..."
