In a weird dimension, grey in color, with statues of Bakugan reaching for the sky in an attempt to escape. Suddenly, small orbs of lights left the statues and formed a purple energy as a loud roar could be heard as a portion of the sky was ripped open and the purple orb flew through the tear in reality.

POV: Y/n

Me: (Voice Over); My name, Is Y/n, L/n. And I, am a Bakugan Battle Brawler. *Battlefield closes and a black cowboy hat falls on the ground* Well, not yet.

Me: Owowowowoowowowowowowow. Okay Dan, you win. Again. I’ll beat you one day.

Dan: Maybe, but not with Drago at my side. *helps me up*

Drago: Yes, we do make an awesome team.

Me: I hope I find me a talking Bakugan soon, they’re so much stronger than normal.

Drago: All Bakugan can talk, only some choose to speak out. If they trust the brawler that is.

Dan: Yeah, that Robotallion of yours is stronger than normal, it had 380 G-power, more than your Warius.

Drago: I thought your Fear Ripper would be an ace, but no, it fell quite fast.

Me:  Well, Robotallion is my partner, since he was the first Bakugan I owned. [true story] So I trust him with my challenges. 

Just then, an unknown Darkus Bakugan started rolling towards us. Shuji [I think that’s how it’s spelled, he’s so minor he’s not in the Wiki, and I couldn’t find a manga version] came running after it, as I picked it up I heard a low growl.

Shuji: Hey losers! Give me that Bakugan back! Finders Keepers!

Me: S-sorry man, I was trying to catch it. Take it. 

After I said that I threw the Bakugan, and as soon as it touched Shuji’s hand it bounced back into mine. 

Shuji: Hey, that’s mine you piece of!

As Shuji shouted  that, he proceeded to punch me in the face, and I fell right back on the ground.

Dan: Hey, Suji! Settle this like true Brawlers! I’ll hold onto it while you two battle for it.

Shuji: Fine. Get up loser.

Me:*stands up, holding jaw* That actually hurt you jerk.

POV: None

The three children each pulled out a black gate card and turned it, with different colored lights emit from each card, two purple and one orange.

Boys: Field, OPEN!

A white field appeared around the boys, the sky, now a mix of colors instead of the beautiful blue with white clouds. Shuji and Y/n both drew different black cards and threw them on the field.

Y/n & Shuji: Gate Card, set!

Shuji: Since I'm not a thief, I'm going first!

Dan stood far off on the sidelines, Drago sitting on his shoulder in ball form, and in his hand, the unknown Darkus Bakugan.

Drago: *opens* Daniel, mind if speak to our unknown guest.

Dan: Sure, here ya go.

After Dan had said that he let unknown Darkus Bakugan speak to Drago

Drago: Who are you?

???: *growls*

Dan: He isn’t very friendly huh Drago?

Shuji: Bakugan brawl!

As Shuji shouted he threw a Darkus bakugan onto the field. As it stood on the card thrown down by Y/n, a large humanoid creature with large claws stood in the card.

Shuji: Fear Ripper stand!

Bakupod: Darkus Fear Ripper; 380Gs

Y/n: Gate card, set!

A third card landed on the field beside the occupied gate card before another bakugan was thrown into play.

Y/n: Bakugan Brawl! Mantris Stand!

As the bakugan stood a large mantis stood on the new card.

Shuji: Too chicken to attack? Bakugan Brawl!

Shuji then threw another Darkus bakugan, as it landed in the card with Mantris, a humanoid, triceratops stood tall on the card.

Bakupod: Darkus Mantris; 290Gs, Darkus Saurus; 270 Gs

Y/n: Ability card activate! Marionete! Move Saurus to Fear Ripper!

The Saurus was then lifted by beams of energy and moved to the card with Fear Ripper on it.

Y/n: Gate card activate! Mine-coast!

Shuji: Ability card activate! Dimension four!

As Shuji shouted his command the gate card the Y/n had thrown down, turning it grey with the two of Shuji’s bakugan standing in triumph.

Y/n: *exhales* Bakugan brawl! Go my partner! Go Darkus Robotallion!

As Y/n threw his bakugan towards the two foes a dark energy started to fizzle out from Robotallion. As it landed a ring of dark energy emerged hitting every other bakugan on the field.

Bakupod: Darkus Saurus, Darkus Fear Ripper, and Darkus Mantris G-power decrease by 50 Gs, Darkus Robotallion G-power increase by 150 Gs. Darkus Saurus; 220Gs, Darkus Fear Ripper; 330 Gs, combined power 550 Gs. Darkus Robotallion; 530 Gs

Y/n: Ability card activate! Auto-Canon!

Shuji: Ability cards activate! Slash Zero and Power Charge

Bakupod: Darkus Robotallion boost 100 Gs, Darkus Saurus and Darkus Fear Ripper boost 180 Gs. Darkus Robotallion 630 Gs, Darkus Saurus and Darkus Fear Ripper 780 Gs

The Saurus then charged at Robotallion as Fear Ripper sprung into the air forming an X with its claws as the two attacking Bakugan made contact with the Robotallion, destroying it instantly.

Y/n: No Robotallion!

Shuji: Haha, you lose thief. Bakugan Brawl! Darkus Ravenoid!

As the small plastic orb landed on the card, a large human shaped raven appeared before the young boy, flapping its wings and blowing off his hat. The ravenoid then flew towards Mantris before it turned into a ball of energy flying back towards Y/n.

Y/n: What am I going to do? I have one more Bakugan, but I don't have a good enough steategy.

???: Let me handle them. Just get them together.

Y/n: Who are you?

???: Don't worry about it. 

Y/n: Gate card set! Bakugan brawl!

The young boy in black then threw a card before throwing a black ball.

Y/n: Stand Darkus Hynoid! Use your special cry, Gathering Call!

As the hyena like beast cried out into the void, the other Bakugan used by Shuji emerged from his pocket before landing on the card as a purple beam ran onto the card as the field faded.

POV: Y/n

Shuji: You'll pay soon thief! *runs away crying*

Dan: Well, that was an interesting battle.

Me: I don't know how I won. One second I gathered them up, the next, the battles over.

Dan: I'd love to talk about it more, bit I'm gonna be late for supper.

Me: Go, I'll talk to ya tomorrow. 

Dan: See ya buddy! *runs off*

As I started to walk home I noticed something black move along the edge of the fountain.

???: You did good kid.

Me: Who are you? 

???: I am Leonidas. 

Me: So was that you who ended the battle?

Leonidas: Yes. I figured you needed the help. I see potential in you. Far more than that weakling. You made traps while he used brute force.

Me: So you want to be my partner? 

Leonidas:  It seems to be most beneficial. 

So I know some of this isn't canon, however, I'm takin a few creative liberties, and I'd like to pan them out if I need to. In fact I plan to make one a common occurrence in the book, even though it stems from canon.
