Shun

I knew that something has happened with Kayla, and it's up to me to protect her. She's like a sister I never had.

As we leave the castle, Skyress asks, "Shun, why you volunteer us to go with Leonidas and Kayla?" 

I turn to my old friend, "Skyress, she's scared. She needs me, and if I was in a deep trouble and don't know what to do, you would help anyway, right?"

She chuckles, "Right." 

Kayla suddenly groans, "Dan's growing stronger now. I have to fight him in a brawl." 

"Wait, Kayla, what you talking about? What you mean by you're going to challenge Dan to a brawl?"

"You have to see for yourself, Shun. It's not easy to explain at the moment. Darkness Light is growing stronger, isn't?" Leonidas asks his partner.

Kayla nods, "Yeah, it is painful as I thought, but I have to do this, I feel like I know where Kali is. "

"Can you tell me what happened with that battle with Makua? 

I really don't like it." 

As something unusual happen, a portal appears and we meet face to face with Kali and Makua!

"So, this is the famous Kayla and Leonidas that I've heard so much about." Kali sneers as I was about to protect Kayla, she said, "Enough with the drama, Kali. 

I know what you done with Dan. Now let him out and have our duel, shall we?"

"You're going to do what?!?"

Dan appears, but he was dark, as something possessed him.

"Game Gate open! Bakugan Brawl! 

Leonidas stand!" Kayla said, jumping through the air as the gate card opens. 

"You actually think that you'll win, Kayla? Such foolish girl." Dan said.

"I know that you're in this mess, and it's all my fault . I should've told you that Leonidas sent me to New Vestoria to help defeat Makua and Kali's evil deeds to the Bakugan.

I'm going to break you free even though Darkness Light destroys me!" 

"You mean that you're going to do what? Kayla, don't do this!" 

"Shun, you have to trust me. I will deal with this, you deal with Kali, she's Meg Mel's sister." 

The truth took me and Skyress in pure shock.

"That can't be true, Kayla. Meg Mel was defeated by Dan and Drago. What this have to with you?"

That is when Kali laughs with amusement .

"You fools have no idea, haven't you? 

Kayla is more than just your average Brawler. She is actually a long lost sibling to Dan.

Kayla said, surprise, "Wait, you trying to say that Dan..." 

"Yes, he's your brother, Kayla. Using him as bait is the perfect tool to use the Final Secret Orb and take over New Vestoria and Bakugan City." 

Dan chuckles, "You suddenly grow scared. How about I start this brawl with ability activate, Fire Cannon!" 

Dan's new Bakugan, attacks me, as Shun tries to run to help.

"Shun, no matter what happens, I'll be fine. Just have faith within me. I have to break Dan's darkness on my own." 

"Just be careful." I said.

Alice

I had a feeling that Kayla is in major trouble as I realize.

Julie asks, "Alice, what's wrong?"

"It's Kayla. She's in a Bakugan Brawl against Dan." I said, which cause her and Gorem to be surprised.

"Wait, how can you sense they were in trouble, Alice?"

I said, "You guys remember I am Masquerade right? Somehow I can sense things even though we're not there.

She's going to all of our support. So, let's go!" 

I used the teleportation device as we saw Kayla and Leonidas.

"Julie, Alice! You came to watch the brawl?" Kayla asks with total amazement.

"You can't actually brawl without our support, Kayla. That is what being a Bakugan Brawler is all about.

Wither you like it or not, we're family, and we stick to each other's side no matter how dangerous the situation would be." I said. 

Kayla sighs, as she knew that I was right. 

"I know that you can hear me, Dan. You can fight this." She said, looking at Dan.

Dan sneers as he yells, "Ability activate! Shadow Wind!" 

The attack was so powerful that Kayla was hit badly as she groans in pain.

"Kayla!" Julie exclaimed as she was about to set Gorem to the battlefield to help her, but I pulled my friend aside.

"Alice, we need to help Kayla and Leonidas!" She said, trying to let loose of my grip, but I said, 

"Julie, you have to let Kayla and Leonidas handle this." 

"But-" 

"I know it's hard to watch our friends brawl like this, but I think we should sit this on out, Julie. It's not our fight to begin with."

Gorem said, "Julie, Alice does have a point there. All we can do is support Kayla and Leonidas. They can do this."

Julie sighs as she looks at Kayla and Leonidas.

Kayla got up as she said, "Leo, I have an idea, but it would be risky. You think you can handle it?"

Leonidas nods, as she said, "Ok, Battle Gear, Activate! Mega Leonidas!"

We were surprised of how she managed to summon a Battle Gear, even though she was a beginner Brawler.

"Incredible." Shun said, as Mega Leonidas roars in triumph. 

"Leo, I know this is your first time of trying a Battle Gear Mode. I think it's time we put it to good use.

Ability Activate, Fire Wind Lighting Strike!" 

The attack was so bold and amazing that Kayla jumps into her partner's back.

"Ok, let's do this. Double ability activate! Fire Shield!"

That is when she jumps into Dan like a wild person!

"Kayla, are you insane?!?" I ask.

Kayla didn't listen as she tackles Dan and collapsed.

Kayla 

As I fell , I knew that I had enter through Darkness Light's special ability. 

I have to sacrifice my extra Bakugan points to save Dan. 

As I collapse, I was in a coma state, but I knew I had done the right thing to save the brother I never knew.
