Definitely Treated

A/N: It has been a long week for me, and I don’t know how to tell you, but I wasn’t in the right condition when I wrote this. Please forgive me if it wasn’t up to your standards, or if it was poorly written after all. I’m really sorry, but I hope you enjoy it my dear. I tried to lengthen it to fulfil your desires.

Thank you for being here with me.

Definitely treated

She was lying on her bed—propped up against the headboard with a pillow behind her back.

It was silent, except for the soft whirring of the air-conditioner—as she flicked her thumb to scroll the page of her electronic device.

She read the next words carefully, wondering whether she was reading the right book.

She was about to flick her finger to turn the electronic page of her book when—

There was a knock on the door.

The girl paused.

She stopped to listen, because, she was so sure that there was no one at home.

Waiting for several seconds to confirm her suspicions, the girl decided it was merely her imagination.

And so her gaze lowered back to her electronic device, as she passed a slender finger to scroll downwards onto the next paragraph.

But there was no paragraph.

There was a question.

Are you alone?

The girl frowned, and she looked around her bedroom.

She was, indeed, alone.

She decided to ignore the question, and merely brushed it aside as a mistake that the author made.

I have always wanted a phone like yours.

—Was the next sentence.

And a bed like yours.

The girl’s hands turned slightly clammy, as she raised her head once again to glance around her.

I must be tired, she thought.

Locking her device and placing it on her bedside table, the girl turned off her lamp, and pulled the covers to her chin.

She closed her eyes.

—but then her phone rang.

The girl jumped, startled by the shrill ringing.

She attacked the bedside lamp and fumbled for the device beside it.

Unknown

She frowned, and rejected the call.

She repeated the process by turning off her device and then proceeding to bed once again—only to realize that she was doing it for the fifth time already.

And that her phone was turned off, and not locked.

But despite that—there it was again, that shrill ringing.

This time, she was sure to take out the battery of her phone, determined to get her peaceful sleep.

Alas, there was a beep.

A text.

Impossible, she thought.

When the screen lit up before her eyes to display the message that the device had received, the girl dropped her phone.

Are you really alone?

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

I yelped, grabbing a bunch of Xander’s shirt and yanking him closer to me—as if it would act as a shield.

“Woah Chip! Easy—it’s not even scary yet…”

“It’s coming! It’s definitely coming omgomgomg,” Just then, the eerie soundtrack of the movie reached a climax with screaming violins, and a woman behind me shrieked.

“See I told you!”

“Okay okay, if you’re so scared then why didn’t you agree to watch Fifty Shades of—“

(A/N: I didn’t say it! I didn’t say it! X’D Anyway it’s not out yet :P And I can’t watch it anyway lol I’m too young)

“I-I’M NOT SEVENTEEN YET!”

“I could have gotten you the tickets and snuck you in or something…” Xander sighed, as if bored. “it would have been fun.”

“W-Well…I’m sorry I’m not fun!” I huffed, releasing my grip on his shirt and raising my gaze to face the huge screen—only to find myself burying my head in his chest once again.

Whatwasthatwhatwasthat omgomg it’s not real it’s not real Chip get a grip it’s a woman with long hair you can just look it’s not real come on don’t be such a wimp oh God.

.

.

I didn’t watch the rest of the movie.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

In all truth, it was my idea to watch a horror movie.

Unlike Kim or Jack, I…haven’t got the guts to actually watch one.

However, circumstances made watching a horror movie a good option, apart from the fact that the other option was Fifty Shades of—well…never mind.

A couple of days ago, the bakery had a meeting to discuss our schedule for the next busy week.

This normally happens during special days or upcoming holidays like Valentine’s or Christmas, and since Halloween was just a week away, we thought that we could come up with something new this year—with the help of Xander and Giselle.

“Okay—ideas. We need constructive ones,” Rose’s gaze shot towards a certain young man before reverting back to the rest of the table. “Let’s do something meaningful this year, like…taking children out for Trick or Treat! What do you guys think?”

“Well…It’s a good idea, but children? Who?” Gretel wriggled her nose.

“The neighborhood children of course.”

“Won’t they already have some sort of group to move in? We’ll be like extras,” Coco added, and Rose huffed.

“Fine, since no one likes my idea then what do you guys have?” Xander’s hand shot up.

The corner of Rose’s eye twitched, but she remained calm. “Yes Xander?”

“Maid café—Ow!” He received a smack on the head.

“Well…we could raise funds for children?” I piped up.

“What has that got to do with Halloween though?” Gretel cocked her head to the side.

I scratched the side of my head sheepishly. “Eh-heh well…I dunno…we could sell Halloween themed goodies for a cheaper price? And then donate all the money to a needy cause.”

“Hmm…sounds good to me, then—what should we sell?”

Giselle was the first to speak.

“Cupcake,” She nodded enthusiastically, elbows propped on the table. “Cupcake cupcake.”

Rose and Coco laughed. “Cupcake it is then. We could add in a new cupcake to the menu—Pumpkin cream? Or Pumpkin cupcake with walnut cream----that sounds good.”

“We could have chocolate frosting on red velvets instead of cream cheese? And then name it…bloody—“

“I’m fine with the idea but not the name,” Rose interjected firmly, pinching Gretel’s nose. “Spider web cookies? How about that?”

“Cool,” Xander nodded, “I’d want strawberry soda to go with that though.” Giselle nodded, and Xander threw a playful wink in my direction.

Ears hot, I quickly looked away.

“Hmm…Halloween drinks huh? Bloody Mary?” Gretel laughed—sounding like an evil witch.

“Jack put a gummy in the shape of a fang in my coke once,” I shuddered, “I almost fainted.”

We began to discuss about the various types of food we could sell, and then it went to cakes and desserts—it almost got out hand.

.

“Look,” Xander interrupted our excited chatter with the most serious look I’ve ever seen, “if you guys are so bent on selling drinks and desserts, why can’t we just go with a Halloween-themed café?”

Rose blinked.

“A…Halloween-themed café?”

Xander shrugged, “we could dress up in Halloween costumes while serving drinks and food.”

“Ooooh sounds exciting!” Gretel rubbed her hands together.

“I’m alright with that,” Coco nodded.

“H-Hold on—where will we get the costumes? A café? How about space? We can’t possibly open a café in the bakery…” Rose scrunched her face, deep in thought.

“Ah! How about an open-air café? We could set up tables and chairs outside of the bakery, and customers could…y-you know, star gaze while enjoying a drink or dessert…” My voice became muffled at the end of my sentence because I started getting embarrassed at my cheesy ideas.

“Twinkle twinkle little star,” Giselle sang, rocking her chair.

“Oi Giselle don’t do that it’s dangerous—“ Her brother warned. Xander plopped Giselle on my lap, and then, unnecessarily, transferred me from my chair to his lap.

“…”

“…Xander…what are you doing…?”

“Don’t sexually harass my brother!”

“Not in front of the sister please—“

“Are you using Giselle as an excuse to get Chip on your lap? You cunning wolf—“

The cunning wolf,” Xander emphasized, “was the one who thought about the brilliant idea you guys are talking about now. Be appreciative.”

Gretel’s mouth dropped. “Ugh! How dare you talk back to your sister-in—I mean—what an arrogant young man!” My sister coughed at her come-back.

“Now, now…let’s focus on the task at hand shall we? The costumes—that’s the hardest part…”

“Ah! Kim used to dress up all the time for Halloween; maybe she could lend a couple of costumes to us!” I suggested.

“O-Oh! Well, that would be ideal, but we really don’t want to trouble her…”

“I guess I’ll owe her one then…a-anyway I think I can make it up to her.”

“Make it up to her?” Xander’s voice growled beside my ear. “What do you mean by that?” He sounded dangerous.

“U-Um no it’s nothing!” I covered my ears which tickled under his breath.

“Hmph.”

“Then we will leave Chip in charge of the costumes then!” Rose concluded fortunately.

“Alright, I will put posters up to attract customers!”

“Okay, I’ll do the menu and come up with the recipes. Giselle can help me with the taste testing,” Coco encouraged with a thumbs up.

Just then, there was a warm and fuzzy feeling in my chest. Giselle jumped in my lap, excited, and smiled up at Coco.

Coco smiled back.

“Hey, you know what? Why don’t we donate to the Autism Society?”

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

—Aand that is why I decided to watch a horror movie to…well…get myself into the Halloween mood.

We spent the next few days preparing recipes, posters, tables and chairs for the Halloween-themed café.

Of course, Kim was beyond herself when she first stepped into the bakery. After dumping a whole sack of costumes onto the dining table, she rubbed her hands and went straight for the shelves of bread.

“OhmyGosh look at those red velvets mm…oh no there’s one with chocolate ganache, no not the chocolate ganache—what? You have custard buns all this while and you’ve never brought one to school?? Ugh thanks for being a friend Chip—“ Kim huffed, waltzing around the bakery, examining each shelf filled with bread and cupcakes.

She practically placed one of everything on her tray and (even when Rose and I insistently refused), paid for every single pastry.

“U-Uwa…Kim…at least let us treat you to something—after all, it must have been really troubling to bring the costumes here right?” I asked guiltily, grabbing her arm and shaking it a little.

“Neeope—I’m strong,” Kim announced, flipping her ponytail, “however…”

“What is it?” I egged her on expectantly.

.

Kim beamed like she found a brand new fan-fiction of her favorite pairing. “Oho…you and Xander—totally did it right?” She nudged my ribs and lowered her voice.

My head clouded instantly and a wave of heat rushed to take over my cheeks. “W-W-What are you talking about—“

“No need to be embarrassed Chippy, it’s all part and parcel of your adorable fluffy life which we all admire,” Kim rolled her eyes at that, “and even though I am thoroughly jealous that you got to do it with a hot guy like Xander…”

“I still want every single detail,” She finished.

.

My mouth dropped in shock. “Y-You can’t—It’s not—I mean…are you sure you want that in return for lending us so many costumes…?” I asked again.

Kim nodded eagerly. “Yes. Yes, and yes.”

I sighed, hoping Xander would never find out about this—and that Kim wouldn’t ask for too much. I mean…how am I supposed to narrate all that w-when I can’t even say that word?

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~**~*~*~*

“Dear me, these costumes are really well-made,” Rose deduced in awe while holding up a nurse uniform.

Please don’t ask me why Kim likes to wear that.

I do not want to imagine it either.

“Yes! Look, there’s even a really cool witch hat. Aw…your friend is so thoughtful to bring all of these over,” said Gretel, excitement gleaming in her eyes—and I already knew that she was eyeing the witch costume.

“Oh gosh, look at this red riding cape! It’s perfect for Giselle,” Rose fawned, putting aside the red clothing.

.

Just then, we heard the jingling bells, indicating the entrance of a customer.

“I’ll get it—“ I said, rushing out from the kitchen while hastily putting on my apron. “Welcome to—“

I stopped short to take in a certain teenager—only to feel my heart stop.

And I couldn’t help noticing how I was already so familiar with this feeling.

“Hey Angel, I’m done with the posters—just came back to check on the costumes. Met Kim on the way and she had this weird look on her face like she just bought a porn magazine or something—“ Xander laughed, a low, pleasing sound, and leaned down to peck my cheek.

I panicked when I heard that Kim almost gave herself (and myself) away, and panicked even more at the sudden gesture of affection.

Taking deep breaths to calm the heat on my face, I quickly changed the subject. “O-Oh really? Um well, my sisters are checking out the costumes in the living room, so…mmmaybe you can pick one. Kim brought some of her brother’s costumes as well.”

Xander smiled cheekily, “sure thing.”

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

It was only a matter of time before I realized that Kim’s brother was definitely not a small, scrawny 16-year old stuck at the height of 5’2.

None of his costumes fit me—every single one of them slip in one way or another.

The top would slip off my shoulder.

The bottom was worse—it practically slides off my hips.

Not only did I look like a 9-year old in his Dad’s clothing, I also had to bear the pain of holding my pants up and scrunching my shirt together so that it didn’t show my entire upper body.

“This…isn’t going to work for Chip…” Gretel finally admitted, after helping me into all of the male costumes.

“Works for Xander though!” Rose said brightly as he emerged from the room in a Dracula costume. “Wait, I think you look better in the previous one…”

Xander raised an eyebrow, and then sighed. “Which one?”

“The one with the ears and the…the tail? Come on Gretel, help me out here—“ Rose pleaded, entirely unsure of what kind of animal it was.

“The werewolf?” Gretel suggested, not bothering to look at Rose as she examined the current costume I had on, trying to figure out a way to shrink it.

“Ah! Yes—that’s the one. Can you put it on again?”

Xander sighed once more, merely nodding before proceeding back to the room to change.

“Rose…I think Xander’s kinda tired after going around and putting up those posters all over town…please cut him some slack,” I pleaded while Gretel fussed around with the costume.

“As the head of the bakery, I am merely doing my duty to ensure that the project will be of utmost success!” Rose huffed. “I ensure you that if such a small task will tire him out, you, my dear Chip, will not wish to have him in the same bed as you!”

My sister finished with a faint blush and my mouth dropped instantly at the insinuation. “R-R-Rose!!! That’s not—“

“I’m done,” Came a low drawl from the doorway. I turned my head to catch a glimpse of Xander with a pair of grey wolfish ears on his head and a sleek, tail—paired with a white button up that looked frayed and ripped at the edges, and a simple denim three-quarters.

!!! H-He looks so appealing in that…

Oh no I think I’m blushing—

Calm down Chip! It’s just a costume!

Another voice said: Oh come on Chip he looks appealing in everything, get a grip you virgin—oh wait you’re not anymore haha.

!! Shh!!

While I was talking to myself, Gretel was already inspecting Xander’s costume. After a moment or two, she threw a brown PVC vest in his direction. “Here, wear this with that—it’s from the woodcutter set or something…anyway, looks like Chip can’t wear any of these.”

The look on Xander’s face was one of pure disappointment, however he covered it up rather hastily. “What? Doesn’t that mean Chip won’t get to participate in the café?”

“Well…guess he wouldn’t be able to wear the costumes, but he’ll just have to stay in the kitchen…”

“E-Eh? But…aw…” I finished lamely, unable to find any solution.

.

“Unless…” Rose piped up.

“Unless what?”

“Unless Chip wears one of Kim’s—“

“EEEEHHH???”

“What—Rose are you serious about this?”

“Well…that is…indeed…a solution…” Gretel pondered, rubbing her chin. “What are the costumes left then?”

Rose checked the pile of neatly-folded costumes. “Since you’re the witch and I’m the nurse…then there’s only a bunny and cat costume left I guess…oh and the red riding hood of course, but I figured Giselle would want that.”

That escalated quickly.

I looked up to realize that everyone was staring at me.

“So…if you’re okay with wearing a female costume then…I guess there’s no problem? Chip?”

“U-Um…well…” I glanced at Xander—and to my surprise, saw anticipation in his eyes.

…that pervert.

I sighed. “I don’t really have a choice do I?”

“Technically,” Gretel reasoned, “you do have a choice on the costume. Bunny or kitty?”

“I…don’t know…m-maybe it’s better to wait for Coco to come back, and then we’ll see what she prefers. I’ll take whatever that’s left,” I shuffled my feet.

Gretel looked the costumes over. “I think you’ll look better in the bunny outfit. What do you think Rose?

“I think he’d look adorable in cat ears!”

“How about you Xander?”

Xander shrugged, acting nonchalant (yes I could tell he was acting). “I think he looks good in everything so—“

“You mean—you think he looks good in nothing, right?” Gretel rolled her eyes.

(A/N: #double meaning #Is this a pun I don’t know but I’m sorry I know I’m lame~)

Xander looked surprised, but smirked all the same. “Since when did you know that?”

Gretel waved his question away, muttering something like: “Everyone knows that from the way you look at him”

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

31st October was a Friday—which meant that I still had to go to school before going back to the bakery with Xander to prepare for the café.

When I stepped into Rivendelle, I realized that a lot of my classmates were dressed elaborately.

Kim was especially eye-catching in a chiffon-pastel-rainbow maxi skirt and a matching top.

“Hello my Princess, how may I help you to the ball?” She came waltzing at me as I entered class early, and tapped my nose with a star-tipped wand.

“W-What is with that British accent Kim—“

“Why, but I know no Kim! I only know of a great fairy godmother here to grant your wonderful wishes~”

“Ah…I…I see…” I stuttered lamely, wondering how stupid I must look beside Kim who was so pretty and fashionable.

“Don’t worry my dear pumpkin, fairy godmother will be at your doorstep at 6 sharp to have a cup of tea under the stars,” Kim winked happily, waving her wand mid-air.

.

All of a sudden, I was strangely nervous about the café. Since Xander had put posters up all over town, there was a possibility that I might run into some of my schoolmates.

O-Oh no…not Vicky…

Nuu—

“If you wish for Vicky to vanish into thin air, then I, as your fairy godmother, shall—“

“Ehh?? Um—no, that’s not it, I’m just a little nervous about the…the café and all…”

“What costume are you wearing my dear?”

I shuffled my feet awkwardly. “I think it’s your cat costume. The one with the white ears and tail?”

Kim’s eyes lit up and I could literally feel her wand radiate light. “Y-You’re wearing a female costume?? Why didn’t you say so? Gosh I need pictures I need them now—I’m going to bring my camera, I’ll take so many—ah, no worries my dear, you and your wolf can do all your private business and I’ll just be by the side with my camera.”

“How did you know Xander was going to wear the wolf costume?” I asked, so surprised that I didn’t even care about the rest of her speech.

My fairy godmother winked. “I have my sources.”

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

“Hello Little Red Riding Hood, table for two please,” A young lady said gently, leaning down to wave at Giselle in her adorable red cape and black dress.

She nodded her head slowly and reached into a hand-woven basket to produce a wooden token in the shape of a pumpkin.

“Number four!” She pointed with difficulty at a table with two chairs.

“Thank you!” The two ladies moved towards the table and I quickly came over to hand them the menu.

“Welcome to the Honeycutt’s Halloween café! As stated in the front sign, all sales will be donated to the Autism society,” I bowed deeply, before continuing. “Thank you for taking your time to come here.”

“Ah! It’s no trouble my dear, and gosh, those ears look really adorable on you!” The lady and her friend gushed—and I felt my face flush.

“U-Uwa, thank you so much,” I bowed once again to hide my embarrassment. “Then, I will leave the menu here and come over when your decision is made,” I smiled my brightest, before catching a glimpse of a raised hand.

“It’s okay, I’ll get it,” I heard a voice behind me as I was about to make my way to the table. “Meanwhile, can you take these to table eight Angel?”

I felt my face heat up even more at the close proximity of the voice, and then saw that the two ladies were staring at us.

“X-Xan…don’t call me Angel in front of other people!” I whispered-shouted in embarrassment.

The two women giggled and ‘aw’ed.

Unfortunately, I was really bad at regaining my composure—and quickly received a tray with two glasses of ‘Bloody Mary’s before walking briskly to table eight to avoid Xander.

.

“Two Bloody Mary’s here,” I placed the glasses carefully onto the table and reminded myself to smile.

“Thanks small fry.”

Eh? Small fry?

That sounds familiar.

I realized that the four customers in front of me were Xander’s friends at school. And one of them was Blake.

“Chip, I know this sounds weird, but that guy who’s wearing a wolf costume and staring at your cute little ass like he’s going to eat you right now looks a whole lot like a douchebag I know,” Blake stated bluntly, and the rest of his friends nodded vigorously, trying to get a glimpse of the person Blake was talking about.

I face-palmed internally, and decided that it was alright to say a little lie. “Well, um…if…if it helps—that guy’s who’s staring at me now…should be Xander. I asked him to help with the café.”

“I knew it.”

“Told ya.”

“I knew he was into cat ears.”

To my surprise, none of them doubted the lie, and neither did they seem to notice my hint that I actually worked for the bakery.

Know why?

They were all too busy staring at my sisters.

“That nurse is hot.”

“I like the bunny more.”

“The witch was kinda cute when she took our orders.”

Yeap. All too busy.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Before I knew it, it was my turn to do kitchen duty.

Unfortunately, there was absolutely no time to take off my costume so I simply slid on an apron and got down to the kitchen work.

I began speed-piping all the pumpkin cupcakes with walnut cream while speed-reading all the orders.

“We have kitchen duty together?” Came a familiar voice and my hand slipped on a particular swirl.

I couldn’t control the blush on my face and the abnormal speed of my heartbeat while I tried to focus one wiping the ugly swirl away.

“A-Apparently.”

“Eh~” I felt Xander come closer to the counter as he examined the orders.

He came up behind me and pressed himself right up against my back while I was still piping to reach over to grab an order.

“Frozen banana ghosts and eyeball cake pops,” He murmured (beside my ear) before moving towards the fridge.

I must say, I was all too aware of the fact that we were the only ones in the kitchen and Xander pulling tricks like that was doing things to my heart.

“Babe, there’s only five of the cake pops left.”

W-W-W-What did he just call me??

“Angel?” Xander’s voice seemed closer, and before I knew it, there were arms circling around my waist from behind. “What’s wrong?”

“I-I-It’s nothing! Please take the cake pops out a-and um, use the icing pen over there for decorations,” I stammered unwittingly, trying to calm my heart to no avail.

I quickly finished with the piping of hundred cupcakes before placing it on the counter for easy access.

“Chip!” I heard Gretel call through the door. “We need more cake pops out here, can you run two batches in thirty minutes?”

“Okay!” I called back, already bringing out the ingredients to make a new batch of cake pops.

I heard Xander pass the next order to Gretel as I began to melt the white chocolate.

“You need any help?” Xander asked while washing his hands.

“Ah! Yes please—“ I said, almost too fast because I didn’t stop to ponder what could possibly happen. “Could you put the Oreo cookies and Madeira cake into the blender and mix it?”

“Sure,” He seemed pretty used to it by now, even cracking the oreo biscuits and cake really quickly, then tossing them into the blender.

After the milk chocolate was melted perfectly, I transferred the mixture into a cool glass bowl before adding a spoon of milk crème, then folding in the chocolate using a wooden spoon.

I was too distracted with the chocolate to realize that Xander had placed the blended cake mixture beside me and was pushing the cake pop stand closer and closer.

“U-Um…Xan…what are you doing?”

Xander smirked, then came up behind me as he rolled the cakes into balls.

As if naturally, he slipped his arms under mine from behind and closed the distance. Now, it seemed as if I had four hands, and an extra head…which was nudging playfully at the pair of cat ears on my head.

“W-Wait—you’re squishing my tail—“ I tried to protest, but then noticing that my priorities were misplaced.

Chip! Concentrate on the chocolate! Imagine how awful it would turn out if you don’t fold in the crystals!

I quickly went back to folding the chocolate on the sides and mixing them with the core of the chocolate.

.

I felt something down my thighs and that was when I realized that one of Xander’s hands were missing.

Th-This pervert! How can he make cake pops with one hand??

No Chip! You mustn’t get distracted!

Fold. Mix. Fold. Mix.

Using one hand, I noticed that Xander was able to push a skewer into each ball perfectly. Meanwhile, his other hand sneaked to the front of my dress.

“—Nn!”

Oh God.

Why must I be wearing Kim’s costume at a time like this?

I tried to pry Xander’s hand off, but I had to abandon my chocolate for a few seconds and it was beginning to sit.

“Mind the milk Angel~” I could hear the smirk in Xander’s voice.

“S-Say that to yourse—“ I was interrupted by a particular hand sneaking under my dress, “wa—!”

My hands automatically left the wooden spoon and bowl to pull my dress down.

.

“Xander! Is the next order ready?” Just then I heard Rose’s voice call from the entrance—and I knew we weren’t in a good position.

However, Xander was being way too calm. I felt a strange friction against the back of my dress and my inner thighs. “What was the order again?” Xander called back.

Realizing that my chocolate had been abandoned, I quickly got back to it and gave it a couple of good folds. I had no choice but to leave Xander’s hand under my dress.

The friction rubbing between my legs was getting weirder, and it was making my head spin. “Nn—haa, Xander, w-wait, Rose—“

“The pumpkin cupcakes and bananas! Don’t tell me—“

“They’re on the counter already!” Xander said without a flinch, pushing the last skewer into the last ball.

“Gotcha!”

.

Once I heard the door slam shut, I craned my head around to give Xander a good scolding but my lips were met with another.

“Mm!!” I counted a total of fifteen whole seconds before Xander had the courtesy to pull back. “You—ha, meanie—!” I said between pants.

Xander laughed, and I felt his hand move under my dress.

“Wa—“

“We’re running out of time~ coat the cake pops with the white chocolate please,” Xander said into my ear.

He’s…He’s definitely going to get it after this!!

.

I heard the jingling of bells and Giselle’s light footsteps followed soon after.

Unfortunately for both of us, Xander’s sister walked straight into the kitchen—

And stared at the uplifted skirt of my dress.

And then at the hand underneath it.

.

She was silent for a moment, until she pulled out the last cake pop from the previous stand and held it to her eye.

“Hehe…I’ve got my eye on you!” She giggled.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Extra scene!

Giselle stood at the entrance of the café, shuffling her feet while waiting for the next customer.

Just then, she heard the sound of a duck.

“Ugh, is it me or is Halloween night soo hot? Oh wait—it’s just me!”

“Vikieeeeee,” A bunch of girls chorused, as they sashayed hand in hand to the café.

When Giselle spotted the girl dressed in a very revealing ‘Cat Woman’ costume, she immediately called out: “The witch that is even more evil than the evil witch!”

The Cat Woman’s mouth dropped, and she put her manicured fingers to her chest as if in shock.

She then waddled over, like a duck.

“You…It’s you! That little—“

“Problem? Miss?” Xander crossed his arms over his chest wolfishly, and gave a glare that was worthy of a wolf’s.

“Ugh! You! D-Don’t think that just because you’re hot you can boss other’s around.”

“So…ducks like you can boss others around?”

“Why—“

“Xander!” A familiar young boy came jogging up to the commotion, and the wolf recognized him as the competitor for his mate.

“Ace.”

“Hey, what’s up? Sorry about my sis, she’s a little drunk…nice costume by the way,” Ace commented, trying to hide a blush. “Where’s Chip?”

Xander raised an eyebrow. “You have business with him?”

“Err…just wanna…talk…?”

“Look—“

“Ace! What are you doing?? Stop talking to him! He’s mental like his sister!” Vicky shrieked at her brother, and her friends nodded vigorously.

“What did you say…?” Xander’s voice was dangerously soft as he advanced for the kill.

“Xandie!!” Giselle suddenly cried.

Xander stopped to look at his sister incredulously.

Giselle tilted her face to the side. “Why are you talking to the duck??”

-end-
