The week started with Cadets cursing the class test which was to happen in the next period. Rajveer entered the classroom in all his glory holding a bunch of newly printed papers along with blank answer sheets.

"Cadets, I am distributing the question paper and answer sheets. There are 20 questions and you have got one and a half hour to solve it. Read the questions carefully, draw a margin of required, attempt it neatly, agar question nahi aata, atleast try it, something is better than nothing, there are no negative markings and, hamara desh bhi self reliance ki aor badh Raha hai to kyu na hum bhi self reliant ho jaaye. No copying. And koi answer chits galati se saath aa gyi ho, yaa chal ke khud aapki pockets mei baith gayi ho to kripya badhi hi nirmalta se unhe bahar chhor aaye" he said with his charming smile making Naina have her dose of good luck wish.

It was 30 mins into the test when he announced the time left while taking rounds in the class. As he neared her desk, she stopped her writing and looked at him from the corner of her eyes. Giving a subtle hidden smile to her he proceeded further while she got to her paper. Deciding against, she drew a tiny half heart with blue ink on the top corner of the sheet and then got to writing her answers.

The test was soon over and she gave away her answer sheet with a heavy heart. She'd not perform well. She knows.

---

And that's what happened. They got their sheets the next day and she had scored an average mark. Why does he have to check it in a hurry. Couldn't he have taken a day or two. Not at all pleased with her performance he gave the sheet back with a blank face.

While checking her answersheet, she found the half drawn blue heart completed with a half draw red heart next to it. But was made her upset was the remark he gave at the end of the sheet 'can do better'.

And when they met at night, near the deserters bell, he was sad. And that made Naina sad.

"I'm regretting my decision for the first time Naina." He started. "I feel meri wajah se you are not concentrating on your studies. Mai yeh to nahi chahta tha. Mai tumhe wo sab achieve karte hue dekhna chaahta hu Naina Jo tum karr sakti hu. I am not asking for something beyond. Just your limit. Tum karr sakti ho, but you are not giving your best. Shayad agar tumhe meri feelings ke baare mei tumhari graduation ke baad pata chalta to tumhare liye behtar hota." He voiced out.

And that's what she never wanted. Him to regret her. For the first time she guilty of getting low marks. She wanted to see him proud of her. As she is of him. And she'd do that. Whatever it takes. She made a decision. Not saying a word on outside, they both had a deep conversation within.

I hope you liked it. Next update on Monday ! Thanks for reading, voting and commenting.  I'll reply to the texts soon.
