Cedric

The wall opposite of the tapestry started to shift into a metallic door.

As Mora led me inside, I couldn't help but be amazed by what I saw.

A large domish room with high glass ceilings opened up to a red gothic floored library, with rows and rows of books. To my left was a hall that led downward toward a half classroom, half greenhouse. To my right was a...Vivarium?!

"Welcome to the Room of Requirement." Mora said, grabbing a bunch of books off the shelves.

I was speechless.

"I've taken the liberty of getting us some books on dragons." Mora said, pulling me to a study corner.

"How long do you think this will take?" I asked her as we each opened up a book.

"Do you have any classes today?" Mora asked, not looking up from her book.

"Care for magical creatures." I replied, trying to find any useful information.

"Skip it. This will be your class for today. Hagrid is great, but he's not the best at teaching." She said, grabbing a piece of parchment to take notes.

"When's the last time you attended Hagrids classes?" I asked, grabbing my own parchment.

She gave me a weighing look, then said:

"I only attend classes that have competent teachers."

"And those would be?" I pressed, making her sigh.

"Transfiguration, DADA, Potions, and Herboligy." Mora said, then muttered "Sometimes not even those."

WHAT?! ONLY FIVE CLASSES?!

"What did you score on your OWLs?" I asked as calmly as I could.

"Eleven Outstandings out of eleven." She said, turning red.

HOW DID SHE DO THAT WITHOUT EVEN ATTENDING THE CLASSES?!?!

"How did you manage that?!" I asked shocked, now completely uninterested by my book.

"This place." Mora answered simply, then her eyes widened.

"What is it?" I asked her as she shut her book.

"I know how we can get more info on dragons." She said, and pulled me in front of the Vivarium.

"Do you swear on your life that you will not tell anyone about what I'm about to show you?" Mora asked, pointing a finger in my face, making me get nervous.

"Yes." I managed to say without sounding as nervous as I was.

But she saw it, and smiled sweetly.

"Do you trust me?" She asked, grabbing my hand and squeezing it.

"Would I be here if I didn't?" I asked, forcing my heart to slow down.

Mora chuckled.

"I wouldn't trust you either if I didn't show you this, Ced."

And then she pulled me into the Vivarium.
