Zya's P.O.V

Recap: Suddenly, I heard arguing and they both sounded familiar I recognized one to be Nico but the other one was definitely not Aiden it was a females voice. I go in the direction of the voices and who I saw shocked me.

"Mum"

"What are you doing here" I asked her"Z-z-zya it's not what it looks like" she stuttered "You knew he kidnapped me" I asked and the guilty look on her face answered my question.

"That call,  you weren't really in trouble were you" I asked my anger slowly taking over. "Zya I'm sorry please let me explain" she pleaded with me "You know you're right you are not my mum. Maybe you once were but now you just broke our relationship"I said and walked away but I was pulled back.

"Zya, please let me explain" she said holding onto my hand "There's nothing for you to explain Natalie" I said with as much bitterness as I could muster up. She looked shocked and sad that I said her name.

I could see tears in her eyes but I ran upstairs before I could see them fall.
I locked the door and slid to the floor and cried myself to sleep.

Flashback

"Zya you're going to hurt yourself" My Dad said before hurling onto his shoulders and running around the yard. I giggled and after a while he dropped me.

"My little princess, I love you so much" he said kissing my forehead. "I love you too Daddy" I said hugging him tightly "You guys are making me jealous" My mum said pouting. Daddy laughed and said "I love you too sweetie".

"What about me" Zane complained stomping his feet "Big baby" I said "Shut up, daddy's girl" Zane said rolling his eyes "Zane do not talk to your sister like that" Dad said "Fine, sorry" Zane said "Sorry" I said back "I love you guys so much" My mum said hugging all of us.

"Mama, let's promise to be together forever" I said bringing out my pinky. She laughed and put her pinky on mine. Zane and Dad did the same "Together forever" we all screamed and laughed.

But they broke the promise.

Nico's P.O.V

I watched as Zya ran upstairs avoiding looking at her mother's tears. "She hates me" Natalie said crying and I felt guilty "She doesn't she just needs to wrap her head around what is happening" I said looking away from her not wanting to see her cry.

"You have to tell her the truth" she said the thing I have been avoiding "I will tell her...soon". "You don't understand, this is more than your cowardly self being afraid of her reaction. If you don't tell her you are also ruining a family" She said and with that she left.

"She's right you know" Aiden said walking into the living room "Not now" I said "Then when, you know today she was crying 'cause she was sad and I know your arrogant self doesn't want her to be sad" he said I glared at him "I said not now" I gritted out but he continued "Now she's sad then she'll be angry then that anger would turn to hatred and it would be directed towards you" with that he left the room.

I groaned and ran my hand through my hair frustrated. I sighed and head upstairs I knocked on Zya's door but she wasn't opening the door "Zya, please I need to talk to you" I said but I was met with silence.

I brought out the extra key I vowed never to use but this was an emergency. "Zya" I said as I entered but she was asleep on the floor. I carried her to the bed and used the blanket to cover her. I saw dried up tears on her face and I became guilty all over again.

"I will tell you soon, I promise" I said and kissed her forehead before leaving her room.

So a lot feels in this chapter.
