Bad Woman 8

Sitting on the bench with his eyes still fixated on Gauri who was now walking towards him sent his little heart pounding. His feet was dangling excitedly on the bench as she sat beside him.

"You can stop smiling Aryan. When someone does something wrong they should have a guilty expression to show remorse."

With his head now hanging down and staring at his feet Aryan was trying hard to think of ways to appease his mother. The last thing he wanted to do was to disappoint his mother. He wanted her to only see his best side.

Noticing his shoulders slumping down and his small hands clenching together Gauri's eyes softened. In the sunlight his soft hair appeared smooth and soft like a little black cat.

When he felt her fingers rustling through his hair Aryan immediately lifted up his head to meet his mother's soft eyes.

"I'm sorry." Aryan anxiously yelled out.

His eyes were staring at her like an abandon kitty. At this point Gauri was well aware that if she did not accept his apology this little boy would probably run home and cry alone.

"I forgive you this time Aryan but if there is a second time I will surely not. Prying into my private life is not something I want to see from you. Just because things are not going according to your wants does not mean you can do whatever you want because your family is rich. You are still young and seeing you using this type of tactic to track me down is very troubling. Does your father know you are here?"

Although her words were hurtful but Aryan can tell by his mother's tone that she didn't hate him. In fact he felt happy that she was lecturing him. This is a clear sign that she cares for him. Isn't it true that when a mother scolds her child it goes to show how much love they have for them? That she only wants best for him? Want him to grow up to be an upright person? Not like his biological mother who never even tried to see him.

"He knows but don't blame father Gauri. I pressed him to let me see you. He did warn me that you would get upset. I just didn't want to listen."

Gauri could only let out a long sigh. How could she continue to scold the poor child who didn't mean any ill will towards her. She could even see that he was a child who was longing for motherly love.

With her palm not petting his head Gauri tried to talk to Aryan again.

"Aryan. I am not qualified to be your mother. If I was a good woman I would not hesitate to just pick you up and take you home."

Khanna's eyes almost popped out hearing that this woman could have tried to kidnapped his young master! His back quickly stiffened as he slowly approached the bench closer.

The corner of Gauri's lips slightly ticked up seeing Khanna being so cautious.

"Wh...why do you keep saying you are a bad woman? I just don't see it."

With his eyes still staring at his feet Gauri quickly pinches the boy's chin to look up at her.

"Aryan. Listen and listen well. No woman is perfect. She may look like it on the outside and her words might be spouting things you want to hear but it does not mean she is a good person. A woman can hide her darkness very deep down inside. You just met me yesterday and have already considered me a person who can be your mother. You can't be doing this Aryan. It's dangerous. Your father can not protect you all the time. You need to learn to be cautious given your status."

As she said these words Gauri's eyes grew colder and colder as she thought of her own mother. A woman who appeared to love her child unconditionally but deep down she had many calculations to sell that very child.

"The....then can we get to know each other? As friends? Is that okay? I won't call you mother anymore I promise! I won't dig into your information. I won't follow you in secret..I won't ....I won't...."

Gauri couldn't help but laugh as she let go of Aryan's chin and rubbed his head playfully instead.

"I have never been pursued like this before. You are the first Aryan. Okay. We can be friends but you are not allowed to do this to any other woman you meet in the future okay?"

"I promise! I promise!"

"Okay. This is my phone number. You can send me a message at anytime as for calling you have to send me a message first to see if I have time okay?"

"Okay!"

Seeing him so happy Gauri's mood was much better. When she was about to stand up and return back to her apartment she felt a little tug at the hem of her shirt.

"Are you free now? It's Saturday and I was wondering if we can spend the day together."

She has to give it to the little guy. His technique of using his pitiful eyes to get what he wants was getting better. However, Gauri has never taken care of a child or even babysat one to even know what to do for an entire day.

"If I say yes then you would have to plan for the entire day. I don't really know what kids like nowadays."

Aryan's eyes lit up like fireworks and turned his head towards Khanna.

"I'm hungry."

"Okay young master. I will book the restaurant immediately."

"Are you hungry Gauri? I figured you haven't eaten lunch since you went out for a morning run."

"Just give me 30 minutes to freshen up okay?"

As she was about to leave she still felt Aryan's grasp on her shirt. "Is there something else?"

Aryan wanted to ask his mother if she would be free next week to attend the event at school with him but felt too scared that she would be upset. Didn't he just promise he wouldn't call her mother? How could he ask her to attend the Mother and Son event.

Clearly Gauri could see that Aryan was troubled but Gauri was not the type to coax a child. She didn't know how to persuade or tend to a child let alone develop such a close relationship. It Aryan was an adult she would have just told him to "hurry up and spit it out."

"Can....can I wait at your place? I promise I will not cause any trouble."

Since she had decided to built a friendship with Aryan Gauri gently stretched out her hand to grab Aryan's little sweaty palm.

"Let's go."

Khanna has never seen his little master smile so brightly that he took out his phone and sent a photo to his Master Omkara.

Omkara: ...... Little brat.
