Xavier, Trisha, Niall and Leroy got the wonderful news that Zayn was out of life support and began breathing on his own, but that was two weeks ago and still no signs of Zayn waking up. Fourteen days of waiting for Zayn to open his brown eyes and everyone waiting, no dying to hear Zayn's giggles, it's been a trademark on how adorable he sounds and their starting to lose hope that Zayn won't ever wake up.

"Do you think he will ever wake up?" Trisha asked, placing her hand on Zayn's hand.

"He will, I'm sure of it. He's a fighter and he can wake up at any moment now." Leroy assures Trisha. He's been the positive spirit out of the group. Leroy doesn't want them to doubt Zayn not waking up or they will all give up. Leroy doesn't want to give up on Zayn, he's done it to many times by blaming Zayn for Louis's actions, but he's willingly not to give up on Zayn no matter what.

"Did the doctor say how long would he take for him to wake up?" Xavier asked pacing around the small room. He missed Zayn so much and he can't stand being here, he hated hospital and just wanted to hold Zayn and protect him.

"It could take months, even years if he wakes up." Mumbled Niall, his eyes blood shot red and tired, the guilt that sits heavy on his chest, he blames himself for what Crash did to Zayn, he couldn't believe Crash would shoot his best friend. Niall been having bad dreams about the doctor saying Zayn is dead and Niall wakes up in the middle of night screaming in terror that one day his dream will be a reality.

"Maybe we should let Zayn rest." Trisha spoke up.

"So we should all leave?" Leroy asked, putting his hand on his hip. He didn't want to leave Zayn side so soon, they just got here.

"No, as in permanently let him sleep." Trisha whispers, tears falling down her face.

"No, you don't mean actually letting Zayn died? Do you? Zayn will wake up, you can't just decide to let him die, he been threw enough and when he wakes up, we will all be hear as a family." Leroy says sternly.

"You guys consider me family? Even though I've done unspeakable things to Zayn?" Xavier mumbled.

"It's in the past now Xavier, if Zayn forgave you than we all do. You've changed a lot in the last few weeks and Zayn has made a big impact on your life, so don't doubt yourself." Leroy praised.

"It's my fault anyways, Crash needed money for more drugs and I stupidly went along with him and he manage to shoot at Zayn. It felt like time slowed down when he fired that gun, I'm sorry for everything I've done." Niall cried in his hands. Trisha placed a hand on Niall's shoulder.

"Oh Niall." She coos, "It's never your fault. You didn't pull the trigger and you didn't run away from the scene, you stayed with my baby and stood here in the hospital. It's Crash's fault and karma will get him sooner or later."

"Thanks Trisha, I would've felt more awful, if you hated me." Mumbled Niall.

"How can I hate you or anyone of you guys. You made my son happy, remember his birthday party!? All the presents you gave him, I never seen a smile so wide on Zayn's face since I adopted him."

"Yeah, it was his first actually birthday party with a cake he never had, it's great to see him happy, it's the best feeling in the world." Leroy added.

"How about we all get lunch? My treat."Trisha says standing up.

"Yeah I could for some lunch, I haven't eaten in a while." Mumbled Xavier.

"Alright it's settled, let's go."

"I will stay with Zayn, I'm not hungry." Niall says scooting his seat closer to Zayn.

Trisha nodded. "Ok, let us know if Zayn wakes up."

"Ok."

They all left to lunch except Niall who was holding Zayn's warms hand and praying for him to wake up. Niall been increasing depress about Zayn being shot and Niall needed Zayn to bring up his spirit. Niall thrive on Zayn's positive sunshine personality, it what makes Niall still live on this earth rather than killing himself.

"Hey Zayn, it's me Niall. I miss you and I want you to know that everyone will be waiting for you to wake up, so they can hug and kiss you. It's been two weeks of hell not hearing your voice or seeing your lovely smile. I also miss when you call me Dory, I haven't heard you say my nickname in a while and I cannot wait for you to open your eyes so we can talk." Niall mumbled, his head laying on Zayn's hand.

Niall's Blatter was full and he had to use the bathroom and lucky the bathroom is connect to Zayn's room, he didn't want to be to far away from Zayn, if he decides wakes up at any second now. Niall rose up from his chair and made it into the bathroom.

Harry walks into Zayn's hospital room and closes the behind him, he towers of Zayn body with a look of disgust and hatred.

"I was so happy that I heard the news that you were shot and they claimed you as dead, but you weren't. I was so pissed that you didn't die, why are you still living!? You took my Niall away from me, he doesn't belong to you. You manage to act all innocent and stealing my property Zayn, but it looks like you can't define yourself now." Harry says with a evil smirk.

"I pick this up from a drug dealer." Harry says holding up a syringe, "Its a new drug called Vertigo. It supposedly has every single drug known to man in one needle. I wonder what it would do, if I put in your IV bag." Harry says darkly.

Niall exits out the bathroom to see Harry standing over Zayn with a syringe.

"Harry what are you doing?" Niall gap walking towards him and standing right in front of Harry.

"I'm teaching Zayn a lesson."

"He's been though enough, stop this now. He doesn't need to die."

"Yes he does! He took you away from me, I need to you Niall, it's the same without you."

"I can't Harry, you deeply hurt me in school bathroom. I can't ever forgive you for what you did to me. It's not Zayn's fault for what happen. It's yours, so can you leave."

"I'm not leaving until I injection with this and watch him die, so you can got out of my way I can make you move. You are nothing but a piece of property to me." Harry growled.

Niall pressed his lips against Harry's lips. Harry was shock and surprise, but kissed back, Niall extended his hand to the help button and pressed it as he continue to distract Harry. The nurse walks in and Niall pointed to Harry's syringe and she backed out of the room to get the police.

"I miss kissing you." Harry murmur in between kisses.

"I do to." Niall lied, as he kissed harder, hoping Harry doesn't stick that syringe in him or Zayn.

"Let me just end Zayn right now and we can finish this somewhere else." Harry says smugly.

Niall was about to respond, but two police man came into the room and man handled Harry.

"Let's go, you have a lot explaining to you with carrying a syringe of Vertigo." The cop grunted, putting handcuffs on Harry and taking him away.

"I will stay back and guard the door." The other police said to Niall.

"Ok thanks." Niall says in a sigh of relief. Niall's phone rang in his pocket and he answer it.

"Hello?"

"Niall, I need to see you."

"No, you need to turn yourself in Crash. You hurt my best friend and I will never forgive for that, now just surrender yourself to the police."

"Like hell I'm doing that, I'm already on probation, I'm not turning myself in!" Crash spat.

"Then why are you calling me!?"

"I miss you Niall, I want you to runaway with me. I told you, I can love you and try to make you happy, it's what I want from you."

"No, I'm sorry. I'm not running away with you."

"Then let me see you one last time. I swear, I would leave you alone." Crash beg.

"What if you plan to hurt me, like last time at your party. Drugging me and letting those men taking advantage of me." Niall choked out.

"I will never do that to you ever again. I'm sorry for using you. I will regret that for the rest of my life. Now can we please meet!?"

"Fine, where should I meet you?" Niall huffed.

"The school's parking lot."

"Ok."

Niall waited twenty minutes for Crash to show up, but he didn't and Niall was angry that he could've been with Zayn all this time and not here at a parking lot behind his school. Niall was about to leave, but he saw the headlights of Crash's car coming towards him.

Crash parked his car and hastily walked over to Niall giving him a big hug.

"I've missed you so much." Crash mutter in Niall's ear.

"Where have you been?"

"In a abandoned warehouse not to far from here. I'm leaving at midnight away from this place."

"Where are you planning on going."

"Not sure, I want you to come with him."

Niall shook his head. "No, I can't. Zayn needs me."

"Zayn doesn't need you nor is he your boyfriend. Xavier has Zayn already under his spell. You will just simply get in the way of that." Crash reason.

"I want Zayn to wake up and to be fine, that is my number one concerned right now and if Zayn likes Xavier than so be it, I'm won't wreck their relationship because my jealous."

"Then come with me, please. I can make you happy and will can getaway from all this nonsense drama. Like you said, Zayn has Xavier, he won't care about you. I can take care of you." Crash mumbled kissing Niall lips.

"Their going to search everywhere you will go." Niall pouted.

"They still haven't found me yet. So are you going with me or not?"

"Ok, I will go with you, but I need to call my parents and say I won't be home for a while." Niall says sadly, he wanted to runaway from everything. He knew Zayn had more time with Xavier with their share kisses and their bond has grown so much, that he couldn't have a chance with Zayn.

"Ok, I will be waiting in the car." Crash smiles kissing Niall again.

That's when ten police cars showed up and surrounded Crash's car and stood him to lay on the ground and he did what he was told.

"I'm sorry Crash, but you needed to be caught for what you did to Zayn. I wasn't going to leave with you, I was just buying time till the cops showed up." Niall says proudly.

"I guess this is karma for getting Zayn hurt. I'm sorry this had to end this way, but I really do like you Niall." Crash said sincere, as the cops handcuff him.

"I did to Crash, but this is goodbye." Niall muttered sadly, placing one last kiss on Crash's lips and walked away.

Niall knew it was extremely late and he wanted to check up on Zayn again, today was a hectic day for him. From Harry trying to kill Zayn to Crash begging him to leave Zayn was hurting his head and feeling emotional wrecked.

"Niall? Visiting hours are over." The doctor says calmly.

"I know, but can I just check up on Zayn real quick." Niall begged.

"It's late, but how about you stay in Zayn's room. There's a extra blanket in the closet, but the chair can be uncomfortable." The doctor playfully warned.

"That's totally fine with me, thanks again doctor." Niall says waving and heading into Zayn's hospital room. Niall takes his seat next to Zayn as always and takes his hand. Niall yawned and always already falling asleep.

Niall woke up to feel something moving in his hand, it was Zayn's hand twitching.

"Zayn, can you hear me!?" Exclaim Niall. Zayn slowly open his eyes muttering a simple word, "Dory?"

"Yes Zayn, it's your Dory here and I can't believe your awake. I'm so happy to see your brown eyes again." Niall praise as tears escape from his eyes."

Zayn yawn a little. "Where's Xavier?"

"He's coming to see you in the morning." Niall says trying not to sound jealous.

"Ok, I missed you to Niall and my mommy as well. How's Leroy doing? Is he still mad at me?" Zayn asked with a small frown.

"No, he's not. He came by to see you and wants to apologize to you."

Zayn smiled. "Yaaaa. I'm going to have my best friend back!"

Niall softly chuckles. "Yes you will."

"My head hurts." Mumbled Zayn leaning up.

"You should stay laying down, your still recovering." Niall says gently pushing Zayn back to lay his head down on the pillow."

Zayn sigh. "Ok Dory."

Niall looked at Zayn's pouty lips and couldn't take it any longer, "Zayn I'm going to try something ok? If you don't like it just tell me ok?"

Zayn nodded. "Ok."

That's when Niall eagerly placed his lips against Zayn's. He felt the softness and tenderness of it. Zayn was shocked and surprised, but kissed back. Niall slipped his tongue inside Zayn's mouth making him moan, that made music into Niall's ears, then Niall started to kiss Zayn's neck.

"That tickles Niall!" Giggled Zayn, it made Niall wanted more, he moved his hands inside Zayn's shirt touching his stomach that made Zayn wince."

"Ow. That hurts." Zayn said quietly. That made Niall break free from Zayn, he didn't want to hurt Zayn anymore that he was in pain.

"I'm sorry, I got a little to carried away." Niall says panting.

"It's okay, can I tell you a secret?" Zayn says playing with his thumbs.

"Yea sure."

"I like your kisses better than Xavier." Zayn said quietly giggling. It made Niall laugh as well and hugged him until they both went to sleep.
