Matsuri groaned in pain and trembled as she tried to stay on her feet

"You can do it Matsuri-chan!" Nene said as she tried cheering her on. Hana looked at Matsuri and sighed
She still needs so much training if she wants to become an Alpha. She'll get there someday...
"Matsuri that will be enough for today" Hana said as she stepped in the arena. Matsuri panted heavily as sweat dripped from her body and clenched her fists tightly
"N-no...I'm not d-done yet" Matsuri said and her body began to wobble
"If you don't take a break then you'll break yourself" Hana said as she walked up to her
"But you said it's my decision to stop whenever I want!" Matsuri said
"I did but if you break yourself then you won't be able to train every single day anymore" Hana said. Matsuri groaned and nodded
"Alright...I'll stop" Matsuri said
"Now go take a shower" Hana said
"Yes ma'am" Matsuri said as she walked inside the place trembling a little
"You did great out there" Nene said
"Heh...thanks" Matsuri said smiling weakly at her. She headed to the bathroom and walked inside. She removed the clothes and stared at herself in the mirror. She touched her forehead and looked down
Flashback
"Well I guess we should be going then" Yuzu said
"Hehe yeah" Matsuri said as she smiled
"Hey Harumin wanna come over and stay at my place?" Yuzu asked
"Of course" Harumin said wrapping her arms around her. Yuzu blushed and smiled softly
"Alright. Hey Matsuri tell Shai and Nene that we left" Yuzu said
"Sure" Matsuri said as she nodded. Harumin and Yuzu held hands as they walked out of the place
"Oh wait! Be right back" Harumin said and walked back at the place seeing Matsuri. Nene came out of the bathroom and noticed the two
"Hey Matsuri. Let's have a small talk outside" Harumin said
"Uh...sure" Matsuri said. Harumin took Matsuri outside and Matsuri was trembling feeling her heart beat fast
"S-so uh...what do you want to talk about?" Matsuri asked
"Well...I just wanted to say thank you for helping me. If it weren't for you then I don't think I would've ever asked Yuzucchi out. This is all thanks to you. Thank you Matsuri for helping me. I appreciate it so much. You are an amazing friend" Harumin said as she smiled brightly
"Hehe what are friends for? I'm just happy for you two" Matsuri said forcing a smile while her heart ached terribly
"I wish there was something I could do to thank you..." Harumin said
"Oh don't worry about it Harumin. It's alright" Matsuri said
"No. You've done so much for me that I should at least give you something in return" Harumin said and thought for a moment. She leaned in kissing Matsuri's forehead. Matsuri's eyes widen and blushed deeply feeling her heart skip a beat
"I'm sorry that's all I could do" Harumin said
"Oh don't worry about it Harumin. It's okay" Matsuri said as she smiled
"Thank you Matsuri. Bye" Harumin said as she walked away. Matsuri smiled at her waving her goodbye as her smile slowly faded
"Goodbye..." Matsuri mumbled

Good friend huh? That's all I ever was and ever will be...as long as they are happy then you're suppose to be happy too for them...
"Whatever..." Matsuri mumbled. She walked to the shower and turned on the water. Once the water was ready, Matsuri stepped inside the tub and began to wash herself up. She felt relaxed as the warm water hit her face and body
Mmmm...warm. My body feels so relaxed...
"Haaa...the warm water" Matsuri said and smiled softly. After the warm water she stepped out of the shower grabbed the towel. She tried her hair and shook her head. She grabbed a bathrobe putting it on and stepped out of the bathroom. She groaned seeing her two cousins
"What the hell are you two doing here?" Matsuri asked
"Show some respect to your cousins" Hana said and handed her some clothes
"Sorry ma'am" Matsuri said grabbing her clothes
"We just wanted to see our little girl" Nitski said and covered Juhin's eyes
"Pfft...as if" Matsuri said and began to put her clothes on. Nene's eyes widen and looked away
"D-do you always h-have to change in fr-front of us?" Nene asked
"Hey we're all girls here uh...well except for Juhin but he has his eyes covered" Matsuri said and finished up putting her clothes on
"Done" Matsuri said
"Nitski wanted you to go to the Mating Event and find someone you might like" Juhin said
"No" Matsuri said
"Oh come on! You should ay least give it a shot and see if you end up finding someone you like" Nitski said
"Okay first of all why do you care about my love life?" Matsuri asked
"Because I care about my little baby! You deserve to be happy and if you go to this event you might find your fated mate" Nitski said
"Fated mate?" Nene asked
"Ugh that's just a stupid myth" Matsuri said shaking her head
"What is a fated mate?" Nene asked
"Fated mates are two mates that were chosen to be together by fate. They say that when the two make contact their bodies end up feeling this wierd sensation throughout their entire body that drives them crazy. The only way to know that you have a fated mate is by a strange scent. A scent that you have never sensed before in your entire life" Nitski explained
"Wow...that sounds cool" Nene said
"It's not real" Matsuri said
"Eh? It isn't?" Nene asked
"It has never happened to anyone before okay? It's not real or true. Parents usually say that dumb old myth to kids just to make them believe that they won't be living alone for the rest of their lives" Matsuri said
"Hey but it could be true" Juhin said
"Yeah but it's a myth" Matsuri said
"At least go to the event and see if you find anyone intresting or maybe someone might even get intrested in you" Nitski said and giggled softly. Matsuri only looked at her and sighed deeply
They will only keep bothering me if I don't say yes. Hmm? I guess I should give it a try and at least find someone...besides...Harumin is already with someone so why should I think about her when she is happy with someone else. Yuzu and Harumin deserve each other...because they make each other happy. I could never make Harumin happy...no matter how many times I tried...
Flashback
Harumin looked down at her phone seeing a picture of herself and Yuzu. She sighed deeply laying down on the bed. She stared at the ceiling and clenched her phone tightly near her chest
'Yuzucchi...I wish I was the one by your side instead of that Aihara'
Harumin only let out a low growl thinking about Mei and Yuzu together
'She is only using her...'
Harumin jumped as she heard the doorbell rung. She sat up on her bed and left her phone
'Who could it be right now?'
"Who is it?" Harumin asked as she answered the door. Her eyes widen seeing the small pink haired girl
"M-matsuri?" Harumin asked
"Hey Harumin. I just...wanted to see if you wanted to hang out today" Matsuri said as she smiled. Harumin only looked at her and nodded
"Sure. Let me just get read. Please come inside" Harumin said giving her a weak smile and opened the door for her
"Thanks" Matsuri said as she stepped inside the house. She sat down on the couch and Harumin walked to her room to get changed. Matsuri only sat down and waited for Harumin to return
'Ugh! Why am I so fucking nervous? We are only hanging out as friends...'
"Okay. I'm ready" Harumin said as she stepped out
"Good. Hehe let's have fun" Matsuri said as she smiled brightly. Harumin only gave Matsuri a weak smile which Matsuri noticed at first
'Something is wrong with her...'
The two girls spent time together and were hanging out in many different places. Matsuri tried everything and taking Harumin to her favorite places but no matter what she did Harumin wouldn't give her a real smile. Matsuri and Harumin were walking down the sidewalk until Matsuri stopped
"Harumin..." Matsuri said
"Hm? Matsuri?" Harumin asked
"What's wrong?" Matsuri asked
"Wh-what? What do you mean?" Harumin asked
"Don't play dumb. I can tell you are not having fun at all. You keep giving me that fake smile so tell me...what's wrong?" Matsuri asked. Harumin looked at Matsuri and looked away
"S-sorry it's just...I'm upset because...the person I like...already has a mate" Harumin said looking away and teared up. Matsuri's eyes widen and noticed the tear rolling down her cheek
"Who is it...that you like?" Matsuri asked
"I...rather not talk about it" Harumin said
"Harumin please...I want to help you. As your friend...I care about you and worry about you so please...tell me and I could try to help you" Matsuri said. Harumin looked at Matsuri and sighed deeply
"I-I like Yuzucchi but...she has Aihara-san" Harumin said as she looked down. Matsuri only looked down and gulped as she held the ring that was hidden in her back pocket

Matsuri looked at them and sighed deeply
"Fine. I will go but you guys will come with me too. I don't want to go alone" Matsuri said
"Heck yeah!" Juhin said
"W-wait I have to go too?" Nene asked
"Yes" Matsuri said wrapping an arm around her
"Wh-what? I'm not looking for a mate!" Nene exclaimed
"Jeez calm down. You'll be hanging out with me" Nitski said
"And I'll be looking for some bastard to fuck with" Juhin said and Hana smacked his head hard
"Ah! What the hell-ow!" Juhin exclaimed
"No cussing in my place. Got it?" Hana said sternly as she glared at him
"Y-yes ma'am" Juhin said
"Anyways Saturday at night be ready okay?" Nitski asked
"Yeah yeah. I got it" Matsuri said
"It seems that it's late. I think we should get going" Nene said
"Yeah tomorrow I have to finish up a few things in class" Matsuri said
"Okay and Matsuri we will work on your stamina alright?" Hana asked as she patted her head softly
"Yes ma'am and thank you" Matsuri said as she smiled. The three Mizusawas and Nene left the place as they headed back to their place. Hana sat down in her seat and sighed deeply
I wonder how Matsuri is going to take it when she ends up finding about her fated mates...

The 22 year old adult only sat down on her desk working on some business papers. She began signing a few papers until she got interrupted by a knock on the door
"Yes?" The woman asked
"Mitsuko what is this?" Hojo asked as he walked in
"What is what?" Mitsuko asked as she kept her focus on the paperwork
"Look at me when I'm talking to you" Hojo said sternly. The Taniguchi let out a sigh and stood up from her seat then turned around to look at her father with stern eyes
"What do you need now father?" Mitsuko asked
"Why on earth do you keep rejecting every Alpha I bring to you? You should at least give them a chance" Hojo said raising his voice
"I don't need a man. I can take care of myself" Mitsuko said
"Ugh Mitsuko...at least try to have a mate in your god damn life. Maybe a girl I suppose..." Hojo said
"I'm not a lesbian" Mitsuko said
"Look I don't care anymore okay!? Just get a god damn mate already!" Hojo said
"Sure" Mitsuko said
"I'll be taking you back to the town. There is an upcoming event. A Mating Event" Hojo said
"And you want me to find a mate during that event?" Mitsuko asked
"Yes and you'll find a mate. I don't care who anymore just as long as they're an Alpha. I just want you to get a mate already. Even your sister ended up with a strong Alpha..." Hojo said
"She ended up with her best friend" Mitsuko said
"Well I don't care who as long as they're an Alpha then it's all good. Understand?" Hojo asked sternly
"Yes father" Mitsuko said
"Good" Hojo said and slammed the door shut. Mitsuko sat down on her bed and groaned
