STEVE'S POV

Tony and I followed the kid to the living room, Natasha and Bucky came along.

Peter showed us his laptop that was on the center table.

"Oh really? Jig saw is on the loose" - Tony joked, as usual.

On the screen there was Wade Wilson, trapped on a wall by leather straps.

There were 2 more people in the video, threatening to kill Wade.

"Don't fall for that, Peter. He can regenerate, I remember" - I was angry that they were trying to use the boy like that.

"We have a special way to kill him, Mr Rogers, we're not stupid." - a strange and modified voice came on.

"He betrayed you, boy" - Bucky meddled in.

"If that's a rule to kill you shouldn't be alive right now" - Tony's temper difficult as always.

Bucky was going to answer back, but I held him back.

Peter was worried and confused. Even though he was betrayed, it was his first love and that is hard to get over. I remember how was it with Peggy, but bad things come for greater goods and mine is Tony.

"We knew maybe him wouldn't be enough so we got an extra just to be sure" - the voice came back.

The camera moved and showed... PEPPER.

"This can't be her, she's not in the country" - Tony was alarmed,but he kept control cause he knew they were bluffing.

"Is she? Are you sure?" - the voice asked again.

"I'll contact them" - Natasha said and started dialing.

"We're not getting into their game" - I said, cause the kid was getting more nervous. - "Natasha?"

"No signal, none of their phones" - Natasha looked worried.

"WHAT DO YOU WANT?" - Tony had finally lost it.

"We want you and your boyfriend, just the two of you and we'll talk"

Tony looked at me and I just needed to look back.

"You stay here" - Tony said to Peter, who didn't like this command at all.

"No one is coming with us" - I stated before Bucky and Natasha could say something. - "You both, try to contact Wanda and Pietro"

"Where's Thor, Clint, Bruce and Strange?" - Tony asked while I ran to get my suit.

"I heard them saying they went to deal with Loki again." - Peter said.

We prepared ourselves.

"Honey, come with me, you'll get too much attention flying there" - I said and he climbed on the motorcycle and we headed to the coordinates they gave.

Tony's armor was nanotechnology now, so he didn't need to leave with it from there.

I felt the cold wind against my face, but the sensation I was focused on was Tony's arms holding my waist.

I felt him holding tight when we were getting closer.

I stopped at the entrance of the shed, got of the bike and Tony did it too.

"I don't know what will happen, but I love you" - Tony said and kissed me afterwards.

"Nothing will happen,ok?" - I told him and kissed his lips again.

He activated the armor, it was great each time I saw him in it.

I grabbed the shield on the motorcycle while Tony was scanning the place.

"Everything clear, captain" - his electronic sounding voice came on.

We came in prepared for security or a surprise attack, but nothing happened.

We continued and got to a door that was immediately opened when we arrived.

We looked at each other and nodded to keep going.

Tony had his helmet deactivated.

"Well, if it isn't the most powerful couple of the Earth" - a red haired girl appeared.

Sinthea Schmidt. There were 5 more people with her, 2 women and 2 men and Wade Wilson, who wasn't locked anymore, by the way.

"Aren't you ashamed of taking advantage of a teenage boy?" - Tony asked him indignant.

Oddly, he didn't answer.

"All right, where's Pepper?" - Tony asked , he was angry, holding himself back.

3rd Person POV

"Where's Pepper?" - Tony now lost his patience and lifted his arm to shoot them.

" Fast like that, Stark? We didn't even had fun together? " - Sinthea said coming for Tony.

"Lady, you better step back and surrender while you can" - Steve liked to give an option, specially when it was a woman.

"Do you really think you can beat all of us just the two of you?" - She asked while the rest of them prepared to attack.

"You don't know us at all" - Stark said and put on his helmet.

Steve ran to attack Wade first.

Tony got two of them at the same time.

They were handling the group really well together. Tony got distracted when Sinthea climbed on Steve's back. Last time that happened they were putting tracking devices on them.

Tony prepared to shoot her hard.

"Let go of him"

She continued and didn't really cared about Tony's threat.  Steve was able to knock her down and pin her to the floor, Tony still aiming for her head.

"So your girl for my girl?" - one of the women in the group said pointing a gun to Pepper's head while two men held her.

Tony and Steve got alarmed right away.

"Please, don't hurt her" - Tony begged. - "Let her go and I'll let your leader go"

"Fine"

They reluctantly let go of Sinthea, they couldn't risk Pepper's life and the baby's.

However, when they let go of Sinthea they didn't let Pepper go.

"You'll regret terribly, not keeping your word" - Steve ran towards them, but they put a taser gun pointed to Pepper's belly, which made Steve stop right away.

"Come in and we'll talk" - Sinthea demanded.

Tony and Steve were in a room locked for a few minutes, Wade was watching them.

They knew they could get out of there, but that would put Pepper in danger.

The air was heavy and both of them were feeling powerless, which was even harder for both powerful and brave men like them.

"You're uncommonly quiet, Wilson." - Tony couldn't hold it - "What is it, your speech just works with teenage boys?"

Even with Tony's provocative ton, Wade didn't say a word and didn't make eye contact with them at any time.

Steve looked at Tony and they both knew something was going on.

"What is it that you all want? Just tell me" - Steve got up to be face to face with them.

"Steve" - Tony called his attention, his voice seemed angry. - "This is a trap, we have to go"

"What about Pepper?" - Steve asked confused.

"Bruce just contacted me, Loki was not there anymore when they went to see him and they located Pepper, probably they cut their phone signals for a while so we weren't able to figure out this cheap scheme"

Steve grabbed Wade's neck so quickly and angrily that even Tony got surprised.

"Just let me tell you, even for villains, this is really indignant, pretending to threat a pregnant woman" - Steve gave  Wade a disdainful look.

"I didn't..." - Wade tried to say, but his voice came out faded.

"What?" - Steve pressed his neck harder and held him up.

The expression on Captain's face and the anger coming from him were unusually extreme.

"STEVE" - Tony shouted. - "Let him talk"

Steve finally put him down.

"I didn't know. First, I didn't agree with this. In the beginning they gave me a mission and I accomplished it, that's what I do, I'm not a fancy pants superhero. I didn't ask much about their plans, I actually didn't care. And also I didn't know Pepper was pregnant."

Steve took a deep breath.

"I'll help you get out of here" - Wade said after a long silence.

"Why would we trust you?" - Tony asked.

"I don't have reasons to pretend and also... I care about the boy"

Suddenly the villain...was not anymore.
