TONY'S POV

We were leaving Pepper's house, it was a hell of a surprise, I was so happy. I had Steve by my side and now I was going to be an uncle.

I couldn't be more excited, if I could I'd make something to speed up pregnancies, just so this baby could come into our lives sooner.

We said goodbye to them and got into the car. I didn't put my shirt back on because I was still dirty with grease.

"That's so unfair" - Steve said looking at me as I started to drive.

"What?"

"You, shirtless, with sunglasses, dirty with grease and driving. It's like you came out of a sex dream" - he confessed and rubbed his face. - "God, you're so hot"

I started laughing, cause he was serious.

"Look who is talking" - I said smiling

"I love your smile" - he Said looking intensely at me.

"You're freaking me out, stop it" - I could bet my face was red.

"I'm serious, Tony, you're beautiful and the most important thing in my life"

The words felt so deep that I looked at him intensely, trying to process it.

"Eyes on the road" - he said and turn the steering wheel, when I almost hit an animal. - "Are you ok?"

"Yeah, I am" - I said trying to focus again.

I don't know why,but the way he said hit me deep.

STEVE'S POV

I love him so much. I've made the decision to marry him not long ago, but it was already killing me to hide it from him. If I could I'd do it right now, but I want it to be flawless, he deserves the best.

My cellphone rang, I picked up.

I put it on the speaker.

" Steve here" - I answered.

"Steve, sorry to bother you,man, it's Bucky" - he was probably calling from Sarah's cellphone.

I looked at Tony, his hands were tense pressed against the wheel, his face was serious.

"Hey. What's up?" - I said. I knew Tony didn't like him, he had his reasons,but Bucky was my best friend.

"Sarah is not feeling well and I need to take her to the hospital, but I can't leave the kids alone. Can you stay with them for me? " - he asked, I could tell by his voice that he was desperate.

I looked at Tony before I answered.

He consent with his head.

"Sure, man, I'll be there in 10 minutes" - I said, but Tony showed 5 with his hand. - " 5 minutes, hang tight"

"Thank you,man, you're the best" - he said and hung up.

Tony changed the path to go to Bucky's house.

"Are you ok with that? I can stay at his house and you go home, honey" - I said to check if Tony was comfortable with that.

"It's ok, babe, I'm not that cold blooded. Just see if I have a t-shirt in the backseat, please" - he said without taking his eyes of the road.

Even though he's been through a lot, he always found a way to surprise everyone with his strength.

I grabbed a T-shirt that was lying there and handed over to him. He put on his lap and put it on when we arrived at Bucky's house and cleaned the grease with the shirt he was wearing before.

I got out of the car and knocked at the door, he answered right away. The kids ran to me.

"Man, thank you so much, you know you're the person I trust most" - he hugged me and then he saw Tony.

"Stark" - he said and Tony greeted him, with a hand raise.

"Thank you for staying with them" - Sarah came out of the house.

She was really terrible, could barely walk.

"No problem" - I said to her.

"Well, let's go little ones" - I said and picked both of them up.

"You behave and obey uncle Steve" - Sarah said to them and they smiled.

"I feel old when you talk like that"

"You ARE old" - Bucky joked .

"How are you going to the hospital?" - I asked.

"We're going to take a cab" - Bucky said.

I wanted to offer them a ride, but it was not my place to do it.

"Get in, I'll drop you off" - Tony said and they were hesitant for a while. - "C'mon, I'm serious"

He offered again, I encouraged them and they got into the car.

"Wow, your car looks like the cars from video games" - Bucky's boy,Ben, said and Tony smiled.

"Ben, behave. I'm sorry, Mr Stark." - Sarah said.

"It's fine. I have lots of videogames you two can play" - Tony said. - " And please, call me Tony".

"Yay" - Alice , Bucky's girl said.

Tony started driving.

"Mom, are you going to be ok?" - Alice asked with a sad look on her face.

"Yes, love, mom is just going to fix a little something to be brand new again" - Sarah smiled.

I saw Tony taking a look at them. Sarah's condition was not good.

We got to the hospital really fast.

"Thank you, again, Steve and thank you a lot, Tony" - Bucky said and put his hand on Tony's shoulder.

They left, Tony was a little tense.

"Well, what do you say we get some ice cream?" - Tony asked with excitement and the kids got really happy.

We got into a really big ice cream shop.

"Don't take too much" - I said to them.

"Don't listen to the old man, take anything you want, today you can" - he said smiling and I couldn't help but smile too.

"It is funny, the coincidence, Pepper told us about kids and now we're taking care of two" - I said, I sat by Tony's side at a table while the kids got their ice creams.

"Are you pregnant,honey?" Tony joked and put his hand in my abs.

"If we could get pregnant, I don't think I would be the one carrying the baby" - I joked back and he pinched my arm.

He leaned to kiss me, but then he remembered we were in public and a lot of people had recognized us already. Even if we felt normal for a moment, there was always something to remember us we were not.

The kids came back, the ice creams full of sprinkles, syrup and chocolate chips.

"Why is your heart blue?" - Ben asked and touched Tony's reactor.

"Because he's a superhero" - I said and Tony smiled.

"What's your superhero name?" - Alice asked.

"Iron Man" - Tony whispered like he was telling them a secret.

They widened their eyes and their chins dropped.

"No way" - they said. They couldn't believe.

"Iron Man is my favorite superhero ever"- Alice said,but covered her mouth right after.

Tony smiled widely, the kids were amazed.

I cleared my throat.

"You are our favorite too, uncle Steve" - Alice said and Tony winked at her, making her laugh.

"Daddy is supposed to be out favorite superhero, Alice" - Ben reprehended her.

"Don't worry, I won't tell him" - Tony said and they smiled.

They finished the ice cream and went to play in the little playground there was there.

Tony got up to get something and came back a few minutes later with two popsicles.

"A special popsicle for a special popsicle" - he said smiling.

"I knew you couldn't loose that joke" - I rolled my eyes, but couldn't hold the laughter.

3rd person POV

They got back into the car to head to the tower. On the way Steve called Bucky to see if there was any update on Sarah.

"Hey, how's she doing?"

"Well, we're still waiting, we don't have as much privileges as those rich Playboys" - Bucky was angry he couldn't do anything. - "I'm sorry, I forgot you're dating one now"

"Man, I'm sorry, I wish there was something I could do to help. And the kids are fine, so don't worry, I'll call you later" - Steve was frustrated.

"What happened?" - Tony asked while driving.

"I'll tell you at home" - Steve didn't want the kids to worry or be sad.

They were old enough to understand if he said something.

They got to the tower and Tony introduced them to the rest. Just Peter and Pietro weren't home.

Natasha stayed with the kids so Steve could talk to Tony.

"They're still waiting. I just didn't want to say in front of the kids, so they don't get sad to know it's going to take more than expected" - Steve said when they got to Tony's workshop.

"I understand, can you stay with the kids for a minute? I'll look for something that I have here they will love to play with" - Tony said and Steve just nodded and went upstairs.

Natasha loved the kids. Bruce was a little hesitant and not so good with them.

"Your hair is like mine" - Alice said to Thor. He picked her up so she could touch his hair. - "You're strong."

She said because Thor lifted her up with one arm and no effort.

"But you aren't stronger than uncle Steve. He's captain America" - Ben bragged, defying Thor, who laughed out loud.

"He's captain America, but I am a God. I'm much stronger than your little uncle " - Thor said to him.

"Impossible" - Ben got mad and crossed his arms, making them all laugh.

"What's going on here?" - Steve asked when he got into the living room.

"Uncle Steve, he's saying he's stronger than you" - Ben said pointing at Thor , he was really mad at Thor.

"But I am, look" - Thor said and flexed his biceps.

Steve rolled his eyes.

"I know, why don't they arm wrestle to know who's stronger?" - Clint suggested and Ben and Alice got excited with the idea.

"Do you wanna join, Clint?" - Steve asked sending him a deadly look, because he suggested that. - "That's stupid"

"Are you afraid, captain?" - Thor provoked getting closer to Steve.

"Let's do it" - Steve said looking at him, the kids cheered.

"Oh I wanna see that." - Natasha said.

"Is it wrong if this turns me on?" - Wanda said.

They started, both of them were wearing t-shirts so the vision of their biceps was just heaven.

Tony showed up.

"What's up with all the testosterone?" - he joked and stopped to look.

"You're drooling, Tony" - Natasha joked.

"He can, it's his boyfriend" - Bruce reprehended and she rolled her eyes.

"Oh my God, this is so unfair to the world" - Tony said hypnotized.

"Are you complaining?" - Bruce asked confused.

"No, I'm saying it's unfair to the world, not to me. I'm grateful" - Tony said and looked at Steve.

He and the girls were delighted while Clint was cheering with the kids and Bruce was uncomfortable.

After some minutes Thor won, even though he is a demigod, when Steve's determination was high, it was really difficult to beat him.

"It's ok, uncle Steve, we still think you are really strong" - Alice said and hugged Steve, who laughed.

STEVE'S POV

I got a phone call so I went to the kitchen.

"Hey"

"Steve, you asked Tony for help?" - Bucky said, he was uncomfortable.

"What are you talking about?" - I had no idea of what he was saying.

"We just got a private room, she's being treated right now and we're having all the perks we could"

"I swear I just told him you were still waiting"

Tony showed up in front of me.

"Well, thank him for me please" - Bucky was a proud man, but he loves his wife and family above all.

"Babe, what did you do?" - I pulled Tony aside.

"I just pulled some strings, no big deal, it's for a good cause"

He was impossible.

"By the way, you won" - he said and smiled with his hands on my chest.

"I didn't" - I was confused.

"I didn't say what" - he said and bit my lower lip. My mind just went crazy.

By the end of the day, the kids were exhausted, Tony showed them the iron man suit and their eyes shined with it. Alice was lying on top of Tony on the couch. I smiled when I saw it, the prettiest image.

"One step at a time, sweetie." - Natasha joked and went to her bedroom.

"Uncle Steve, is Tony your boyfriend?" - Little Ben asked,when I sat on the carpet by his side, he laid his head on my arm.

"Who said that?"

"My dad" - he answered. - "But it's ok, uncle Steve, he is really nice"

I couldn't hold back the smile and happiness.

"He is my boyfriend, but it's a superhero secret,ok? Can you keep it?"

He widened his eyes, like he was happy to be on some kind of mission.

"Yes, sir" - he said and saluted me.

"Your dad taught you well, little soldier" - I said and pet his head.

It was already night. We had dinner together and later the bell rang.

"Hi, Steve" - Bucky said and threw himself at me, hugging me tight.

"Hi, where's Sarah?"

"She's going to stay at the hospital for observation. I came to pick up the kids, Sarah asked me to take them to her sister's house. She says she doesn't want to trouble you two and you have missions sometimes, but she appreciates what you did and the help Tony gave us today, we really appreciate" - he said , he looked exhausted and I could swear he was almost crying.

"You don't need to thank me, you're family to me, you know that, if you need anything, please ask" - I said and hugged him again.

" Dad" - the kids said and jumped on Bucky's arms.

"Look what uncle Tony gave us" - it was functional iron man miniatures. Probably molds of his old suits.

"Tony, you didn't have to" - Bucky said. It was strange to see them exchanging words.

"It's nothing, they're amazing kids and I hope Sarah is fine" - Tony was fully sincere.

Every minute more I want to get down on my knee and ask him to be mine for the rest of his life.

We said goodbye to them and went upstairs to take a shower.

I started massaging his shoulders under the hot water.

"I love you, you're an amazing person" - I said by his ear, making him shiver.

"If you think that, you don't know me at all" - he said and closed his eyes.

"Shut up" - I said and wrapped my arms around him.

I kissed his neck and he leaned his head back. I kissed his lips slowly. He turned around to face me, I looked into his eyes for a long moment.

Those eyes had everything. Pain, suffering, trauma, some arrogance,but most of all there was compassion and love.

I didn't say a word, I just leaned and kissed his lips, moving slowly, feeling his lips, then his tongue. I pulled him softly by the waist and put my arms around him, touching his back.

He put his hands on my face.

Even though the kiss was calm, it made us loose our breaths easily. Our legs were weak, because of this electric feel in our bodies.

We finished the shower. I was about to lie down when Tony called me

"Steve, I need to show you something" - Tony was serious so it was probably something important.

Tony headed to the workshop and I followed him.

"I have a new creation, but just you know that,ok?" - he looked at me, I was apprehensive.

Tony pressed his reactor twice and his armor didn't come from outside,but it looked like it was coming from him, evolving his body. It was incredible to see.

"Oh my God, how did you do it?" - I asked curious and excited.

"Nano technology" - he disabled the helmet and looked at me. - " That's not all. I still haven't finished, but I wanted you to have it as soon as possible"

"JARVIS,enable project popsicle" - he said and I laughed, unbelievable.

Some particules came in my direction and formed a helmet in my face, it was a helmet like my older one, well, just the shape. Cause it was safer and had the finest technology in it.

"Why? And why now?" - I said and he disabled the helmet.

"I love you and if I can do something to keep you safer, I will. I can't loose you, Steve" - he was emotional, there was something strange.

"Nothing is going to happen, why that now?" - I put my hands on his face.

"Everything is going too well, I feel that something bad is coming, you know. Better safe than sorry" - he was really concerned that something bad was going to happen soon.

His phone rang and he answered.

"Hi, May? Wait, what happened? No, Peter is not here"
