Steve woke up scared with his phone ringing.

"Hi" - as he answered with a sleepy voice, he noticed Tony was sleeping over his arm.

"Steve, is that true? You found Tony?" - Natasha's voice sounded excited through the phone.

"Yeah, I kept looking for him and found him under some building wrecks" - Steve was keeping his voice low so he wouldn't wake Tony.

"Why are you talking so low?"

"Nothing" - he lied, but he knew it wasn't effective against his best friend.

"Rogers...." - She protested.

"Tony is sleeping, I don't wanna wake him"

Steve looked at him, so peaceful, the pale blue light of the reactor was giving him a charm.

"Ok, so you're at his house, but his house is pretty big can't you go to another room to talk to me?"

"I can't"

"Steve Rogers, what are you not telling me?" - she sounded distrustful.

"Why do you want to talk at 4 in the morning, Natasha?" - He tried to scape the subject.

"Captain Steve, you know you can't lie to me, I can't and I don't want to sleep so if you do, start talking"

Natasha was always bossy like this so Steve wasn't surprised.

"ok I'll talk, you're more sttuborn than me, oh God"

"Please, can you speak louder, it's raining you're voice is too low"

"I can't leave the room"

" So please tell me why" - she was really unpacient now.

"Because Tony is on my arm and if I pull it off he will wake up"

"OH MY GOD, I can't believe, you and Tony, I didn't see it coming" - she was hysterical .

"Natasha, Calm down, please."

"Calm down? You slept with Tony, How can I calm down?"

"I did what? Natasha, that's inappropriate I didn't sleep with him the way you're thinking I did. "

Steve blushed,but the thought of sleeping with Tony wasn't horrible, is just that Rogers was still a virgin and he never went out with a man. He was really embarrassed with what Natasha said.

"Stop being a saint, I know you want to. I knew that something was different between you. But answer me... Is he a good kisser?"

"Natasha, good night and please keep your mouth shut, we haven't talked about that and I don't want anyone to know, there could be complications" - he could hear she laughing before hanging up.

"Who were you talking to?"

Tony said.

"Natasha, she wanted to know if you were ok"

"I am" he said and got up. "I'll make some coffee"

Tony barely opened his eyes.

"Mr Stark, it's 4 in the morning"

"Oh, man" - he went back to bed and fell asleep again, leaving a smiling Rogers.

TONY'S POV

I woke up again and Steve was still asleep, I took a minute to enjoy the view, his muscles moving to his breath, the hair was messed up and this was a hard thing to see and why not look at his whole body, almost naked wearing just boxers, probably he took out the T-shirt cause he felt hot.

That's a good sign for me. I smiled remembering the kisses of the last night.

I went downstairs to make some coffee and Pepper was in my kitchen already.

"Morning, missing guy"- she said and hugged me. "I thought we had lost you"

"How's Captain Rhodes?"

"Colonel. He's fine, I'm freaking out with our wedding plans. But are you ok? Why didn't you call me? I could've come here to stay with you, it's not good to be alone after that" - She said really worried.

Before I could answer Steve came in the room still wearing just my boxers.

That was not good.

" Why didn't you wake me?" - he said, not noticing Pepper was there, now looking at me trying to figure out what the hell was going on.

I looked at him so he could see her there.

"Oh God, sorry, Pepper, didn't see you there" - he was really embarrassed and tried to cover up his body.

"It's ok, Rogers" - she smiled.

"I'll put some clothes on, excuse me" - he left the room, but couldn't help to look at his ass, as I sipped my coffee, it was beautiful.

"Huh Huh" - Pepper called my attention. "What's going on here?"

Her eyes were wide open, confused.

"You have a colonel, seems like I have a captain, but shh don't say anything, we haven't talked yet"

Her eyes were opening more as I talked.

"I was just asking why Steve slept at your house, but didn't think something happened."

Think I said too much.

"You? Sleeping with a man? ok I can process that, but STEVE ROGERS? I'm really surprised"

"We didn't have sex"

"hmm, you had Captain America all night in you bed, you kissed him, but didn't have sex. Wow you must like him a lot."

I looked away trying to scape her interrogations and judgements.

"I'm sorry about that, Mrs Pepper, good morning.Good morning, Stark" - Steve said walking into the room. "I took some of your clothes, I'll return them later, Anthony"

Anthony? He was trying to pretend nothing happened cause of Pepper, it was damn funny and I saw Pepper trying not to laugh.

"Well, guys, I'm leaving, need to solve somethings with MY Colonel." - she smiled and I looked at her in disapproval.

Pepper walked out the door.

"Tony, I need to go"

"Why, what happened?"

"I'm sorry, I just need to go, I'm really sorry"

His eyes were wet, almost crying. What happened? What did I do?

I couldn't talk as he walked out the door.

Just set on the couch, feeling bad, empty.

After some minutes, I just grabbed a bottle of Scotch and locked myself in my workshop all day long. I needed a distraction from this.

I didn't want to call him, I was too proud for that.

So I just didn't communicate to anyone all day long, didn't answer my phone.

I just wanted to be alone.

Maybe what happened between us was a mistake.
