Molly let out a shaky exhale, as she'd gotten off the phone to Caroline, to let her know that the father of her children was dead. Placing the phone down, Molly felt reassured that Caroline would let Lizzie, Josie and Maze know about the death of the older Saltzman.

The Hale let her tears fall, as she slumped into Alaric's chair. The only man Molly had ever once loved, was truly gone.

Molly sped forward, shoving Damon harshly against the wall. Elongating her fangs, she glared at the Salvatore as an attempt to be threatening. "Don't you dare lay a hand on Alaric."

Damon used his super speed and strength to flip them over, so that Molly was shoved against the wall now. He kept his hand around the girls throat, as his vampire eyes popped out.

"You know I'm stronger than you... so why are you trying so hard to intimidate me?" The raven haired man asked, before he removed his hand as he came to a realisation.

"You're in love with him." Damon confessed, his eyes widening. Molly averted her eyes away from him, as she knew he was correct.

Sitting back into the chair now, Molly wiped away her tears. The Hale knew it was time for her to put her own feelings aside, and to step up because the school needed an acting headmaster, and Caroline was no where in sight.

Now leaving the bar, Lizzie was set on finding Hope. "Alright, let's split up." Lizzie suggested, as she figured if the three of them could look in different areas, they'd find the tribrid faster. "That could work." Mazikeen shrugged, as Lizzie looked at her.

She still hadn't adjusted to her sister's new look. Granted, she looked beautiful, but she seemed so different. She was fierce and brutal and her dark appearance along with her magic made her seem more frightening.

"Call me if you find her." Mazikeen decided, before the Parker-Saltzman trio went separate ways, to track down Hope.

Only about half an hour had passed before Maze and Azzie had been contacted by Lizzie about finding Hope.

Mazikeen approached the restaurant Lizzie had told her to meet at, as she could see the pair down the back, sitting at a table. The heretic listened in, hearing Lizzie and Hope bicker.

"Will somebody help me? Please." Hope cried out, as Mazikeen tensed up upon hearing her voice. Quickly, she shook it off.. the odd feeling had to be because she hadn't heard Hope's voice in years.

"I cast a Conus silenti spell before I stabbed you. They can't hear a word we're saying." Lizzie responded as Hope groaned in response.

"You want to know a secret? This isn't just any old stake. It's Tribrid Kryptonite. If I had stabbed you in the heart, you'd be dead right now. Like always, nature found a freaking loophole. Which means I get to decide whether you live or die." Lizzie explained to the Mikealson, as Mazikeen finally decided to enter the restaurant.

"Incendia."

The Parker saw a waiter walking past, her tray of glasses setting on fire for a moment. The woman gasped and dropped it, letting the wine glasses shatter.

"Hope would never miss with a spell that easy." Lizzie blurted, as the auburn haired girl glared daggers at the Saltzman. "That's because, you insufferable halfwit, I'm not Hope."

"Is that so?" Maze asked, approaching the table now. Hope and Lizzie turned to the Parker, as the brunette shot her ex girlfriend a slight smirk.

Despite being emotionless, it was clear that there was a warmness to her smile upon seeing the girl that once meant everything to her.

"Hi Hope." Mazikeen finally spoke, though it was soon evident by the look in Hope's eyes, that she really didn't recognise the heretic.

"I know I changed my look a little, but I shouldn't be that unrecognisable." Mazikeen hummed, as she took a step closer to the table. It was then she noticed the "Tribrid Kyrptonite" stabbed through Hope's hand.

Mazikeen placed her hand under Hope's chin and angled it up so she could get a closer look at the Mikealson's face. "Who the hell are you?" Hope snapped, her expression still showing that she didn't recognise Mazikeen.

"Hm. It's not Hope." The Parker said, moving away from the tribrid to pull up a chair and sit at the table. "So tell me, who the fuck are you?"

Hope looked to the dark haired girl, "I'm Aurora De Martel." She spoke, keeping her eyes on the heretic as she seemed wary of her.

Moments later Aurora, who they'd learnt was somehow sealed in Hope's body, was sharing a brief story about her life with Klaus.

"Oh, you know how men can be. Niklaus, he spelled me in, bricked me up, and trapped me behind a wall. Like some character in an Edgar Allan Poe story." Aurora trailed off, as Maze sat with her elbow on the table as her chin rested in the palm of her hand. "I can't say I know. I don't like men." The Parker spoke stated.

"Gothic villainy must run in the family." Lizzie declared, catching Mazikeen and Aurora's attention. "Once, in fifth grade, Hope stole my favorite butterfly clip."

Aurora seemed taken back by this. "Are you comparing the loss of a hair accessory to the physical and emotional torment that I endured at the hands of a man that I once loved?" She asked, genuinely. Maze shrugged, "It's quite amusing."

"My point is, we've both suffered at the hands of a Mikaelson." Lizzie concluded before Aurora interrupted her, "If you're suggesting that we join forces, I possess the body of the Tribrid."

"Which is clear you don't know how to use." Mazikeen hummed, before Aurora turned to the Parker, "I'm a quick study."

"Not quick enough. I just snuck up on you, and Hope has the body of a thousand-year-old vampire." Lizzie declared, "You're gonna need someone to watch your Tribrid back."

"And why should I trust you?"

"Because... we want the same thing. To make Hope Mikaelson pay." Lizzie insisted, before she held up her wine glass. Aurora took her wine glass, as the girls clinked them together.

A while later, Lizzie and Aurora wandered down into a dark basement, though Mazikeen and Azazel stayed outside.

"Are you okay?" Azazel asked Maze, as the heretic shot him a confused look. "What do you mean?" She asked her brother, not understanding why she wouldn't be okay.

"Your sister is trying to kill the girl you once loved, with an enemy of her father from hundreds of years ago... are you sure you're okay with all of this?" Azazel asked, seeming a little nervous.

Mazikeen faced him fully, "Why would I care?" She asked genuinely, as Azazel's face faltered. "Before you turned, you spoke so highly of Hope... you told me all of these stories about how she was probably the one for you, and now she could die and you're just letting it happen?"

Mazikeen looked to her twin, before she shrugged. "The weak little girl who let herself fall in love with the tribrid, is now dead." She spoke nonchalantly. "By letting go of everything, I have become the best version of myself. The strongest member of the Gemini coven." She declared proudly, as Azazel didn't seem all that impressed.

"But you haven't let go of everything.. the real Mazikeen that I first met in the Prison World, is still in there." Azazel insisted, as Maze scoffed, "What makes you think that, twinny?" She huffed.

"Because. You care for Lizzie." Azazel insisted, as Maze then frowned. "I don't care for her." She replied, with an amused expression. "You do, otherwise you wouldn't be here." The siphoner declared, as Maze seemed taken back by this.

"Maze! Azzie!" Lizzie spoke, as she rushed out of the cellar towards her cousins. "Do either of you have a working phone?"

"Yeah. Why?" Azazel asked, as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a phone that was quite battered up. It had definitely seen better days.

"Aurora is going too far... I've locked her away for now." Lizzie trailed off, taking the phone as she dialled a number. "So... what are you doing now?" Maze asked the blonde, who locked eyes with her. "I'm calling Hope. The real Hope." The Saltzman announced.
