Chapter 22: Sick Of You?

After a while of harmless arguing, I eventually won about letting me go back to my place to change and cook Izzy something. It turned out that Izzy was lazier than I was and he just wanted to sit on the couch for another couple of days eating coco pops for dinner. As lovely as that would've been, I still needed a change of scenery and I hadn't gone for a run in a while.

I hadn't changed out of Izzy's pyjamas because for some reason he wanted me to have them, and he drove me back home at about lunchtime with my original clothes crumpled up in my lap. When we arrived, we planned at my front door for him to come back to my place at roughly 7pm, and to repay him for his hospitality over the few past days, I'd cook him a little bit of dinner.

That night, Izzy arrived on time and I finally successfully mastered chicken and chorizo paella. Trust me, it's fucking hard to master.

"Holy shit this is so good." Izzy mumbled with his mouth full of food.

"Not nearly as good as you though." He smoothly replied winking at me.

I was quite touched at that but had no idea how to react so I just poked my tongue out at him and continued to eat.

We continued the night eating (store bought) apple strudel, but he didn't know that, and talking about such things as politics and cars to sex. I can't particularly remember everything but there were absolutely no awkward silences. Before he was going to leave for the night (I thought we should be somewhat mysterious together and not let him stay the night) he brought up Vince Neil's housewarming party.

Izzy was leaning against my kitchen bench with his denim jacket and myself in his arms, and he stroked my cheek ever so gently.

"You sure you really want to go to it?" He winced.

"I don't know; I don't mind. It might be good for me to socialise." I laughed. "Why, aren't you very keen on going?"

Izzy looked around the room and replied not looking at me.

"I don't know I just don't really want to talk with those guys. They're a bit tiresome after a while, especially when you kind of know them inside out from when we toured with them."

"Why what did they do?"

Izzy winced a little bit. "They're just reckless and... I don't know, too much party animal blood in them."

I laughed. "You and your band are pretty fucking reckless. Don't worry I watch MTV sometimes..."

Izzy smiled sheepishly. "Yeah I know, but they're different."

"Okay, whatever you say, dude." I said as I rested my hands on his chest.

"We'll go so you can get bored with them, then I'll be right all along." Izzy smirked.

"Whatever dude." I said as I wriggled out of his grip and I made my way to the front door.

"Oh you're getting rid of me now?" Izzy smiled walking over to me with his arms crossed.

"Maybe just a little bit."

"That just might be a little bit hard to do." He replied, smirking, as he allowed his arms to slither around waist, pulling me right up to him.

"No." I whinged, still allowing him to plant soft kisses along my neck.

"I don't want you to get sick of me so come on, get out and I'll see you when you pick me up for Neil's party in a few days."

"Sick of you? See you n a few days? Sounds like you're really getting sick of me, babe."

"Ooh, yeah you're right. I am like, so sick of you. I just like, need a break." I said as I flipped my ponytail into his face.

"Oh right. I get 'ya." He said trying to hide his smile.

"Yeah so like, see you later."

Izzy couldn't help himself but let out a loud laugh.

"Alright, I'll let you win this time with kicking me out. But you'll see, I'll get you back." He said as looked at me, before ducking out of my door and disappearing down the corridor.

I had no idea what he meant when he said 'I'll get you back'. I mean, what was he going to do? Anyway, I didn't take much notice of it, because as soon as he left I had to mentally prepare myself for this party that I would be going to; and no doubt it would be filled with famous faces...

Hey guys, I'm alive!! You have noooo idea on how guilty I feel that it's been so long since I've updated. Although, in my defence I'm in my second last year of high school and the assignments keep rolling in. Also I've had a bit of writer's block :/

Anyway, I know it's short, just a filler but keep scrolling/swiping/clicking coz there's another chapter ;)

Love you babes, and thank you for putting up with me xoxo
