hey, y'all! after a month long hiatus i'm back :)) i really missed working on this, so i'm excited to get back to it! thank you all so much for the support, you don't know how much i appreciate it, seriously. i love this fandom sm <3 also the pic above is of theo's parents, lilian and patrick.

"one day you have to let me be the one to take you on a date, babe. like i love your amazing date ideas, but i want to treat my man sometimes too."

theo and liam were currently walking through beacon hills local metro park, hand in hand, each step synchronized. liam had taken theo to a small diner that he would always go to as a kid. the 50s inspired decor always made him feel like danny zuko, and now he finally had his own kenickie. although, mason would argue that he has always been danny's counterpart and theo was instead sandy. but everyone knows that the two greasers were definitely gay for each other, i mean the connection was obvious.

theo had ordered a burger with a side of fries and a strawberry milkshake. he explained that strawberries reminded him of summer, and summer meant freedom. liam just stared at him all goofy, eating his own burger, and admiring the masterpiece he called his boyfriend.

after there meal, liam didn't have anything specific in mind, but decided that theo seemed like the type of guy to appreciate nature's beauty. so that's what lead them here, to the park. their walk had been spent talking about different things: their favorite colors, where they wanted to go to college, how theo knew he was gay, etc. at some point they found themselves making out against a tree, but after they were caught by an old lady who told them that it was inappropriate to "get frisky" outdoors, they continued on their walk instead.

"i know, but i love seeing you smile whenever i take you out. you're like a little puppy."

theo tried to hide his blush.

"hey! if anyone's a puppy, it's you. i'm a very macho dog."

liam rolled his eyes, "of course you are. shoot me if i'm wrong, but wasn't it you who had to leave bio after mrs. finch told us that we were dissecting frogs in class?"

"shut up, you would have cried too if you had a soul."

"the only person i have a soul for is you. and mason, and timothée chalamet."

"oh i totally agree, if i wasn't completely infatuated with you i would be with timothée."

liam nodded in agreement, "he's the only guy i would ever allow you to leave me for. anyone else and i'll kill them."

"i would never dream of leaving you for anyone."

after walking in comfortable silence for twenty minutes, the only sound coming from crickets chirping, the two lovers made it back to liam's mom's car. liam unlocked the doors, and opened theo's door for him.

"sir theodore."

"dork.... thank you, sir liam."

laughing, liam entered the drivers side and started up the engine. ed sheeran's perfect filled the vehicle, and as liam backed out of his spot and onto the little dirt road, theo started singing along.

"baby, i'm dancing in the dark with you between my arms. barefoot on the grass, listening to our favorite song. when you said you looked a mess, i whispered underneath my breath, but you heard it, darling, you look perfect tonight."

"your voice is stunning."

"oh, it's not really. i took choir in middle school, but gabe made me quit freshman year. i was only ever allowed to sing for him."

liam tensed at gabe's name. theo noticed and grasped one of the boy's hands.

"how long were you two together? you and gabe?"

"um, three years. but we were only exclusive for one and a half. gabe sort of dated other people before that. it's okay though, i know he didn't mean to cheat. he just liked other people too."

"what the- theo, i'm so sorry. i never knew."

"eh, it wasn't your fault. i realize now how wrong and messed up our relationship really was. after allison left for college, i didn't know what to do. i know she is still here, but she isn't at the same time. she was my best friend and now she's in chicago," theo paused for a second, "then gabe came into my life and swept me off my feet. i don't know, i guess i saw him as my prince charming."

liam drove in silence, until he let out the breath of air he had been holding in.

"if he was your prince charming than i want to be your shrek."

"if you're shrek i will actually leave you for timothée. you can be donkey though, and i'll be his dragon."

"okay, how come you always get to be the powerful thing? it's not fair."

"life isn't fair, liam. and anyways, i'm clearly the stronger of the two of us."

liam laughed and rolled his eyes at theo's big smile.

"whatever, babe."

the rest of the ride to theo's house was filled by the radio, there wasn't a need to talk. just being with each other was enough. even though the couple had only been together for around a month, they felt comfortable with each other. neither had ever been in a relationship like that.

with hayden, liam always felt like whatever thing he did, she never appreciated it. which put him on edge. it was similar for theo when he was with gabe, except most of the time theo was just being himself. gabe tried to make theo into someone else. but with liam, theo felt like he could rave about supernatural for hours without liam telling him his favorite show was childish.

liam pulled into theo's drive way and put the car into park.

"do you want to come in? we can watch a movie if you want? the addams family is on prime."

"the addams family is definitely worth staying over. let me text my mom."

"only the addams family?"

"no, your parents are pretty cool too."

theo gave liam a pout and crossed his arms. liam laughed at his boyfriend's cuteness.

"i guess you're alright too."

with that, theo got out of liam's car, and liam turned off the engine. they walked to theo's front door together and theo unlocked the door.

"hey, mom! dad! i'm home! is it okay if liam and i watch a movie?"

a welcoming smile graces the face of a pretty brunette woman who walks out of the office. she pulls liam in for a hug.

"of course! liam, you are welcome any time. your father made lemon bars if you boys want any, they've been cooling on the counter."

theo grins, "dad's lemon bars are the best, liam. you have to try them."

mrs. raeken nods her head in agreement and whispers.

"they're the reason why i married pat, but he doesn't need to know that."

liam laughs, and theo leads him to the kitchen, but not before giving his mom a kiss on the cheek. the room smells of baked goods and lavender. theo grabs two small plates from a cabinet and hands one to liam. the lemon bars on the counter look so good, liam can feel his mouth watering. they each take on to start, pour themselves some milk, and proceed to the adjoined family room.

"hi boys."

"hey, dad!" "hello, mr. raeken."

mr. raeken stands up from the couch and when he sees the plates in their hands he grins.

"i see you two are enjoying my famous lemon bars."

"yep, theo and mrs. raeken say they're to die for."

"well, i didn't say that exactly, but they're alright."

"alright? son, these bars are miraculous. did i tell you about the time that they saved a person's life?"

theo shakes his head and liam looks intrigued.

"well, i was probably a junior in college and i made these bars for my professor because i'm just a nice person-" theo rolls his eyes and laughs, "-as i was saying... my professor had cancer and then he had one taste of these bars, went to his doctors appointment and was cured."

"i doubt that actually happened, dad. you can't cure cancer with lemon bars, if you could we would be gazillionares."

mr. raeken's grin grows, "believe what you may, theor, but trust me, i am a miracle worker. well, i'll leave you two some privacy. just, no having sex on the couch."

"dad!" theo exclaims and liam blushes.

"what? you two are teenage boys whose hormones are probably raging, i can't blame you for wanting to get it on. i'd just prefer if you didn't do it while your mom and i are home."

theo blushes with liam, "oh my god, dad. just go. this is why i don't let people come over."

theo's dad laughs wholeheartedly, "enjoy your food!"

theo lets out a groan when he and liam sit on the couch.

"i'm so sorry, my dad is a horrible person."

liam laughs, "i like him. plus he's kind of hot."

"agh! no! my dad- bleh, no. never say that again or i will dump you."

liam grins and grabs the tv remote.

"sorry, professer. but i must not tell lies."

welp, that was long af and probably sucked as well. i just wanted to include some cute boyfriend fluff and you also got a little backstory on theo and gabe's relationship. theor is mr. raeken's nickname for theo because he loved thor as a kid.

also, has anyone seen love, simon yet? because i read simon vs the homo sapiens agenda in one day and i want to see the movie sooo bad.
