Oscura brought him to her lair which is an abandoned store filled with predator animals.

"So this is where you have your secret lair" Claw Noir saw several jaguars.

"Si, gatito. My animals scare off dumbasses that try to go after me. I did some detective work for you if your cat ears are willing to hear" Oscura crossed her arms.

"I'm all ears, chica cat" Claw Noir wiggles his fake cat ears to amuse her.

Oscura rolled her eyes, "Still not funny. Anyways, the mouse toy I gave you, I placed a tracker. The Copycat does not. That's why I had you carry it so I can tell who is the real cat from the fake so I don't murder the real cat, which is you" Oscura chuckled evilly that she would have loved to kill him but she doesn't kill people younger than her.

"Well for one thing the fake me barely talks," Claw Noir said.

"Obviously it can't mimic voices but the body shape. And for sure, this woman is not transgender. I saw it did have a miraculous of the chameleon but it's not easy to see when it shapeshifts. I thought it was a myth or so it was" Oscura said, gesturing to the chart board she's been doing with detective work of her own.

"Some at the bar said that it's been around for centuries," Claw Noir said.

"Yeah, everyone believes it was just some witchcraft story. History can have deceptions you know. To cover up the truth from the past. While you were busy with your catfight, I was observing the whole time as a boogey shadow" Oscura smirked that he did not notice it.

"Great, another of your abilities?" Claw Noir guessed.

"That's right," Oscura said.

"No wonder your villain name means Dark. As in lurking in the shadows rather than using Track power to hunt like a cat" Claw Noir said.

"Hmph. And I saw you saved a child. Again, your paws are soft" Oscura sneered.

"Keep talking and my claws will rip your tongue out" Claw Noir's cat ears folded back when he's angry.

"So sensitive, gatito. The other night I was this close to catching her face but she was very stealthy than I am. She copied my powers and my look. Take a look" She extended her spiked spear into a phone and showed the video of Copycat in Claw Noir form.

"Camo off" It detransformed and her real true self was in silhouette in the alley.

Claw Noir's eyes narrowed in anger, "Lila Rossi!"

"You know her?" Oscura raised a brow.

"She was a former student at Marinette's school and had a part in ruining her life," Claw Noir said.

"Ah, a troublemaker I'm guessing," Oscura said.

"No, a pathological liar. That's why she's after me because I was there to expose who she really was and the school expelled her for good" Claw Noir explained, "But the damage was done. Marinette was broken badly and shoved away anyone helping her, even Adrien Agreste" He finished.

"The chico of the fashion designer that mysteriously disappeared? No one has ever found him for a year. Gabriel missed him so much he gave up to find him" Oscura said.

"Yeah, like he moved on from his dead wife, but his son didn't," Claw Noir said coldly.

"I know that feeling. A terrorist in my home country killed my father and I left my home to move on but my anger did not" Oscura clawed the photos of bad men she killed previously, "I suppose Lila is your prey to kill. You seem to take an interest in protecting that baker girl. I saw you care about her, gatito. Why?"

"Because her entire school year she's been suffering and almost faced death by Chloe" Claw Noir said.

"Oh, the mayor's nasty bitch. Everyone hates her. She should've been exiled a long time ago but that stupid mayor is like a servant to her rather than being strict like a parent is supposed to do" Oscura crossed her arms, "Anyways, since you unmasked the faker, I hope you kill her. I don't kill bad people younger than me. I kill those who are older than me. If she's the same age as you, kill her before she kills you and your feline queen. Yeah, I heard the gossip, gatito. You found your soulmate"

"For your information, Marinette's my princess" Claw Noir said.

"Queen, princess, same difference," Oscura said.

"I know that. But we don't know when Lila will strike next" Claw Noir said.

With Shadybug, she was reflecting on what Claw Noir talked about her insecurities and pushing everyone away. She was always afraid of being tricked, manipulated, and getting her feelings played. But when Claw Noir has visited her civilian self so often, she started warming up to him. Even if he gets on her nerves by sneaking in to eat delicious pastries.

Little did she suspect Copycat was sneaking nearby, "There you are" Whispered Copycat.

"Huh? Oh, it's you, fleabag" Shadybug saw him but was unaware it was not her cat.

Instead of saying cat puns, Copycat chuckled evilly with its sharp claws, ready to kill her.

"I'm not in the mood for your annoying cat puns, Claw Noir!" Shadybug yelled.

"Oh, it's more than his cat puns, Marinette" Copycat spoke with her own voice.

"You're not him! Copycat!" Shadybug calls on her lucky charm and out comes a gun. She shot several times at Copycat but missed with her great reflexes.

"Aww....such a shame" Copycat cackled and clawed her but missed.

"I know that voice. Lila?!" Shadybug recognized her.

"And I know you're Marinette. You and that cat ruined my life! If you stayed out of my way, we wouldn't have been in this mess!" Copycat tries to grab her but ends up missing and clawing the chimney walls.

"You tried to frame me! Just like you filled Chloe's head with manipulative lies to be your pawn to get rid of me!" Shadybug jumped out of the way.

"Yes! And she was weak enough to fall victim to humiliation by Claw Noir! Once you're dead I'll be the superior villain of Paris!" Copycat's features turn into Lila's.

But they turn back to Claw Noir's features and she lunges at Shadybug when Claw Noir leaps out of nowhere, striking her with his claws, her doing the same. They grabbed on close and kept shoving each other until Claw Noir pinned her down.

He yowled like a cat and clawed her repeatedly, "RAAAWR!!!" He yowled and hit her.

"Don't make me do this! CATACLYSM!" Claw Noir tried to touch her but he touched the chimney wall.

"I beg to differ! CATACLYSM!" Copycat tries to touch his face.

The feline slides underneath her and kicks her back, "That's my real superpower of destruction, Lila Rossi!"

"URGH! Damn it!" Copycat snarled by touching the pipe.

"I know it's you! Revenge, huh? Just because I exposed you! I had every right!" Claw Noir said.

"You have no idea! I will enjoy seeing your doom!" Lila turns into her true self.

"Yours or mine?" Claw Noir taunted her, confused which one since she copied him.

"Your doom!" She morphs back to Copycat to engage him. Rain started to fall over the villains, thunder rumbling in the sky.

Shadybug couldn't tell which one is the real one but she did not want to get involved.

"Shadybug! I'm the real Claw Noir!" Claw Noir tries to make it obvious.

"No, I'm the real one!" Copycat did the same.

"No, you're not, Lila!" Claw Noir pushed her off the edge of the roof.

"Cucumber?" Shadybug picks up a pipe for defense, saying the secret codeword.

"Bug Spray" Claw Noir replied, confirming he was the real one.

"Oh, thank god" Shadybug sighs in relief.

"Yeah, that Lila seems determined to have us both dead" Claw Noir said.

Shadybug hides the fact that Lila knows her identity, "Clearly she is" Shadybug said.

"Why the hell was she attacking you?" Claw Noir said.

"She's blaming both of us for foiling hers and Chloe's plans," Shadybug said.

Claw Noir heard what she said but he didn't know much about Shadybug, until it was her, "Marinette?"

"Huh? You knew?" Shadybug looks at him.

"Shadybug was never at the school scene. Are you Marinette?" Claw Noir does not like to be fooled by someone covering up the truth to make him stupid.

"Fine, I am her!" Shadybug confessed in frustration, "Blots off" She detransformed and it shocked the cat to see it was her all along.

All this time his rival was his innocent princess. The one who he almost tried to kill, the one who he fought with, the one trying to rob before him, and the one who he dangerously flirted with at the nightclub.

"Well, here you have me," Marinette said.

"Princess" Claw Noir hugs her tightly, not wanting to let go, "All this time you were her? I almost killed you"

"Y-Yeah, Kitty. And I almost killed my emotional support cat" Marinette buried her face on his chest.

"Why didn't I see the killer was my sweet dark princess?" Claw Noir purred by nuzzling in her hair.

"Because of different hairstyles and angrier voice?" Marinette replied.

"Maybe. I did say I never get fooled but technically you fooled me for too long" Claw Noir chuckled, ignoring the rain.

"I guess so," Marinette said.

"Now let's get you home. I don't want to see you hurt again by that Copycat Lila" Claw Noir carried her bridle style.

"Thanks, Kitty" She clung onto him.

As they arrive, Marinette heads inside while Claw Noir remains outside since he's heading back to his lair.

"Heh, I thought cats hate water" Marinette sees him soaking wet from his hair.

"Not every cat. See you soon" Claw Noir said.

But then felt his tail yanked hard, "Ow!"

"How rude of you. Not even a goodbye kiss from your princess?" Marinette sneered.

"Oh yeah," Claw Noir pulls her close to kiss her.

Marinette cups his face kissing him back. He purred happily to feel a little love in his evil heart, even if he couldn't admit that he was a softie like a kitten.

"Oh Kitty, you're the best emotional support there is," Marinette said.

"And I hope I'm still your favorite evil cat" Claw Noir saw she had a black lipstick smudge on her lips, "See ya" He jumped away.

"Bye," Marinette waved.

At his lair as himself, he barely touched his leftover food since he was in love with both sides of her. It felt mixed up when he didn't get along with Shadybug but often gets on her nerves. But he felt conflicted that she didn't know he was the boy she rejected for help.

"She'll never forgive me if she finds out I'm Adrien," He said to his cats.

"Meow" His cat meowed.

"Adrien was young, shy, and a coward. Claw Noir was fearless, badass, and never hesitated" Adrien explained the difference.

The white one jumps up to snuggle with him.

"My lovely kitties, you know I can't risk revealing who I am to her. I don't want to lose her as Claw Noir" Adrien pets them.

"Meow" The cat nuzzled more and Plagg just sat nearby eating cheese.

(Flashback)

When he first became Claw Noir and admired the costume looking badass, he stupidly missed his landing and went unconscious. Not moving but it alerted the street cats to run towards his aid, hundreds of them meowing and running to get all over his body. They all started to lick his face and he woke up groaning.

"Aaaahhh!!! Get off!" Claw Noir scurried himself away from them. The cats all looked at him strangely.

"What? What's going on?" He sat up.

They all meowed to make him follow to their hideout and when he did, he saw it was an abandoned warehouse he could use as his own home.

"Thank you all" He was grateful to them.

(End of flashback)

Adrien was now sketching in his sketchbook since he likes to draw what comes into his mind to keep him sane. Even if he's driven into being a crazy supervillain cat but also a wild teenage boy without adult supervision. He survived long enough to take care of himself.

He was drawing Marinette, looking angelic. Purring in delight at imagining herself as a cute and bubbly girl. But he didn't mind she was a goth. He himself is also a goth boy but not majorly.

"Oh Marinette" He sighs in love.

"Meow" His black cat with purple eyes nuzzled him.

"Good Kitty" He pets him.

As much as he was afraid of cats, he now finds them adorable. Thus, no longer fears them.

"Puuuuurrrrrrr" He purred from his cats nuzzling everywhere on him, "Hehehehe.... one at a time" He said.

"Meow" His cat put its paw on his chest.

"Come here you" Adrien hugs him.

"Meow" It still meowed that his master loves the girl he loves and that he became too soft like his paws than a killer like his claws.

"I'm not a heartless person you know," He said to the cat.

"Meow" His cat meowed that he was before he ran away from his only living parent.

"I'm sorry but I can't. Not after all that has happened" Adrien said.
